+ -1 moreJaime is a very wonderful person. He went out of his way to do a great job and to be sure that we were pleased with his work. After we selected a possible color, he brought samples of paint which he painted on the wall to see how we like the colors at different times of the day. The workers worked very hard all day, but it took them a week and a half to finish the work. They always cleaned up after the work was finished and at the end; they did not leave anything behind. One of the workers broke our pruning shears trying to cut a branch and Jaime replaced them immediately with a new one. After the work was done, we have some minor issues and Jaime came immediately to fix them to our satisfaction; and then he came back once more to be sure that all was fine. He worked next to his workers and was there most of the time helping and supervising. All in all, we had a great experience. We got to know Jaime well. We were out of town and we gave Jaime the keys to our house for the duration.
Description of Work: Jaime painted the exterior of our house; 792 sq. feet plus a 240 sq. foot garage all covered with shingles. The house needed a lot of preparation before painting because it has been neglected for many years; they had to scrape the old paint including iron work and trimming on porch railings and windows; replace some rotten wood and fix the vents; also scrape the loose cement on the foundation; fix the garage door adding new boards and handle, sanding as necessary and other miscellaneous preparation work before painting. They used a primer and two (sometimes three) coats of paint. He also painted the trimmings and doors of a different color and the windows also of a different color.
