+ 0 moreTheir rep visited my brother, measured out the full areas involved, then contacted me to discuss the recommendations including suggested materials. They provided a contract, which I signed and submitted with a deposit. They then had a crew do the installation, and my brother was very happy with the result. They were always pleasant, and I considered the price to be fair.
Description of Work: I do not live in their service area but I needed all the flooring replaced in my brother's mobile home. I had them measure, make recommendations, and then perform the actual replacement of linoleum and carpeting.

+ 0 moreThe experience was excellent throughout, from the initial visit and estimate from Anthony through the entire job to completion. A big deal for us was to have the floor fixed to stop all the creaking and they handled this as well as was humanly possible! They moved furniture as needed, disposed of the old carpet and baseboard, fixed the sub-floor, installed the new floor and baseboard. I would heartily recommend this company!
Description of Work: We contacted Carpet Pros to get an estimate on having a laminate floor installed. We ended up buying the materials from them and having the installation performed by them. We had 950 square feet of floor to install upstairs in our house, with some peculiar, odd angles in the master bedroom and closet.

Description of Work: We had an ugly, ugly bedroom of totally worn out carpet. Robert came two days before, with samples of carpet and padding, to have us select what we wanted. He carefully & clearly explained the different types, qualities, and prices. Two days later the workers arrived to complete the job. Time all total: 3 hours. It looks & feels fantastic! I highly recommend them!!

+ -1 moreTwo Gentelman showed up on the install date moved some furniture and began working they were very nice and friendly clean and neat worked hard and finished the job in a timely manner.
Description of Work: Met with George at there store on Artesia took plenty of time showing us many different styles, colors and quality. Didn't feel pressured at all he went over different pads offered. After trying out many samples we chose one of their high quality carpets and took home some sample colors to see which one worked. After choosing a color and George coming out for measurements we set up an installation date. The two gentlemen showed up on time and got to work right away. Finished the installation in a timely manner and cleaned up after themselves. The only issue we had was we where promised a molding to go over where the carpet meets the tile but once the check was sent never heard back from George.

+ -1 moreTheir price was a little high but it was expected because for a premium flooring but it was definitely high. The carpets are reasonable but flooring was high. So far, the floor installation was very good. They are very professional and very efficient. The one that I didn't like about them was that it was difficult to get the scheduling done when we had a couple of changes but once we talked to them and got them going, it was okay. It was just a minor thing and I won't hesitate to use them again.
Description of Work: We used Carpet Pros for installation of custom-made floor and they'll come for the carpets.

+ -1 moreWe worked with Jorge, and he was very good. He listened to what we wanted to do and made some very good suggestions. He kept in touch throughout the process, and was concerned that everything was done properly. One carpet had a production flaw that was discovered when the installation crew unrolled the carpet and immediately brought it to my attention. They were concerned about the quality and called Jorge who asked if we wanted to wait for new carpet. We decided to go ahead with the installation, and Jorge negotiated an adjustment with the manufacturer. The installation crew worked quickly and expertly, and we are very pleased with the result in both rooms and the stairs

+ 0 moreSalesman was 45 minutes late for appointment to measure our house--in fact, I don't think he would have showed up at all if I hadn't tracked him down on his cell. We were promised a quote via email the next day, which was never received. After following up, we still never received a quote. I guess business is good, because this should have been a $3,000-4,000 job!

+ -1 moreThe store has a very large selection. I found exactly what I was looking for, beautiful carpet. They have a lot in stock and can get most within the week. Installation of entire house including 4 flights of stores only took a partial day. They left the remaining carpet in the garage and even cut a slice as a mat for the door into my garage - very nice touch.
Description of Work: I purchased all carpet from them for a 2300 sq foot house. They ordered and installed carpet for 3 bedrooms and 4 flights of stairs.

Their prices were lower than other stores in the area for good quality Shaw carpet. They had a good selection in the store of other brands as well. We liked the carpet and decided to have them back this month to install it in the master bedroom and walk-in closet. They arrived as scheduled and the installation went well.

+ -1 moreI arranged to have an estimate with the company. I took the day off work and I called an hour before the arranged time to make sure that they'd be coming. The lady that I spoke with over the phone seemed confused, and I was told that they'd call me back. They never did. When I called back, I was told that my home is out of the service area. I don't understand why I wasn't told this at the time. It seems that no arrangements were actually made by the man that I spoke with at the home show when I made the appointment. They say that called and left a message, but I never received such a message.
Description of Work: The work that would have been done was hardwood floor installation with engineered hardwood.

+ 0 moreMarc handled the installation of the hardwood in the rest of our house a year ago, so we knew what to expect. Unbeatable price for a quality product and installation. But flaky to schedule installation work with (e.g. main installation, early delivery of baseboards, sealing stairs, etc.). Accurate estimate, efficient/neat installation crew. Extra baseboards sat outside my garage for 2+ weeks even after repeated calls to pick-up. You'll need persistence and patience, but the result is worth it.
Description of Work: Replaced w-w carpet and baseboards with engineered maple hardwood and new baseboards in two roughly 11'x11' bedrooms on ground floor.
