Accurate Window Cleaning

Rick and crew showed to almost 2hrs early which was ok with me it was a nice surprise! They were very careful with the screen removal since my screens are over 30yrs old. They washed and scrubbed all the windows and screens including the tracks. Only had one small mishap.One of the screens is a very old alarm screen with 16 small wires that go up and down on the screen unfortunately 3 of the wires broke loose and now I'm going to have to try to find a screen company to fix it. Other than that Rick is a great guy and I highly recommend his company!

When I called to schedule a estimate visit, Rick answered promptly and came as scheduled the next day. It was during this estimate visit that he recommended bleaching the above-mentioned fungus area, and I agreed to do it. He emailed the estimate to me, and I called him to tell him that I wanted him to do the work, but that I needed to wait a few weeks to actually schedule it. Rick's price was a more than the window cleaners I had been using twice a year for numerous years, who worked neatly and left my windows sparkling, but who had recently become occasionally careless, causing some minor damage in the interior. So with the first time discount, and the highly positive reviews on Angie's, it seemed worthwhile to try Accurate Window Cleaning. Also, he told me he would use Dawn with water, my preferred cleaning solution. About two weeks after Rick's estimate visit, I called to schedule the work, leaving messages on his voice mail. Over five days, I called twice and left messages, but Rick didn't return my calls. Finally, on my third try, he answered his phone, and we scheduled the work. I called to confirm the work the day before, and Rick told me his 23-year old son and two others would do the work, and he would probably drop by at the end to check on it. The best I can say about my experience with Accurate is that they were punctual and my windows were left cleaner than before they arrived. Rick's son Lupe and his team arrived punctually the next day. But their work methods were overall fairly careless and unprofessional, compared to other window cleaners I've used. Lupe had no idea as to the scope of the work (his father had not given him the information, even though it was itemized on the estimate that Rick had emailed me), and I went over everything with him before the work began, including the bleaching out of the small section with fungus. I noticed as the work began that the crews' rags and squeegees looked pretty gray and ragged with dirt, but I gave them the benefit of a doubt and I assumed they were clean, just old and gray. They did not use drop cloths in the area where they working, leaving grime and debris on my floor under a good number of the windows they cleaned. (Every other window cleaner I've used over the years has always used drop cloths or something to keep the area clean.) They seemed to use just one dirty squeegee and cloth each for the entire job, rather than periodically switching to cleaner cloths. Lupe used a poor quality brush to dust, that left black hairs on my floor (a quality brush will shed very few hairs). They knelt on my bathroom and kitchen counters to clean windows above the counters, something no other window cleaner has done, rather than using a ladder. The edge of many windows, where the glass meets the frame, was left a bit cruddy, rather than being carefully cleaned. There were a few other items I could detail, but this gives an idea of my less-than-happy experience. At the end of the job, I reviewed the work with Lupe, including most of the feedback I've itemized here (some things I noticed only after they left). In the course of that review, I noticed that it looked as if the fungus area had not been bleached. Lupe told me that he had not used bleach, but instead had applied some sort of mold remover that would take several hours to show results. Maybe, but it certainly looks as if that work was not done, and it raises the question of why Lupe did not advise me that he would be using something other than bleach, given that he had discussed using bleach at the beginning of the job. In the end, my windows are definitely cleaner than before Accurate did their work, but they are not sparkling, and some of them look a bit filmy. I suspect, but don't know for sure, as I wasn't monitoring the work all the time, that they did not change out the water periodically, just as the crew did not seem to switch to cleaner rages. Rick did not come by to inspect the work at the end of the job, as he had told me he probably would.

Excellent service all the way around. Prompt, clean, all tasks done and no careless damages occurred from work. Polite, professional. Best experience I've had with window cleaning and exterior power washing, and we have tried many.

This is the third time we have hired Accurate Window Cleaning to clean the windows in our two story home. The first two times the service was excellent in every respect. However, the third time (2 April 2013) was not a charm. Some of the windows were left with lots of water spots, smudges and streaks. Rick did not accompany the crew this time.....maybe that was the problem.

They were on time, very courteous and very professional. They did a very nice job. They were very good.

Excellent, have never had an issue using Accurate Window Cleaning for the past several years. Windows are left clean and streak free. It is amazing how dirty windows can get especially screens for window that are opened often.

I am very happy with their performance. They arrived on time, worked very hard for two days to complete the task without any complaints or cutting corners. I strongly recommend them and would hire them again without hesitation.

We hired Richard to clean some windows for a film shoot. He came out and gave an estimate and we scheduled the service. He came out and got started right on time. We had to add some additional windows on the second story and he said it was no problem and everything looked great when he was done.

Four of Rick's men showed up promptly on time -- in fact, a bit early, with a call ahead of time to ask if that was okay -- and began to get to work, proving that they were clearly professionals who had done this all before. They worked in pairs, two on the front house while two began the exteriors of the main house, and once the smaller front house was completed, all four made short work of the main house. They had to climb above a carport to clean a couple of windows: no problems at all. Screens were deatched, cleaned, and replaced once the window was done in the blink of an eye. The windows have rarely been so spotless. Once the windows were done, the four climbed the roof and cleaned the solar panels effortlessly. In all, the entire job was done quickly and efficiently. An impressive job. I would definitely hire them again.

I hired Accurate Window Cleaning because Angie's List ratings were excellent. Rick, the owner of the company, was such a pleasant person to talk to! Even when I had to reschedule my appointment at the last minute, he was still very pleasant. My windows weren't cleaned for such a long time and had so many hard water stains that I assumed he wouldn't be able to get it all off. I really wasn't expected perfectly clean windows because of the stains! When Rick finished, and I saw his work, it really made me smile. He was able to get my windows to be very clean! My place looked so nice! In the future, I will definitely call Rick again.

Not only were Rick and his crew prompt, professional, conscientious and detail-oriented, but they were SO nice! Rick is a warm and earnest man who values his customers. I joined Angie's List to find good window washers, and I knew that AWC would be excellent based on their reviews. What I didn't know was what a terrific group of guys they would be! The entire experience was top-notch. I have asked for a regular plan to have AWC come and clean my windows every two months, and I've already referred them to two friends. You can't go wrong with these guys!

I called Accurate Window Cleaning because of all the positive reviews from Angies List and I'm very happy that I did. Rick Matthews and his crew (Cesar, Oscar, & Pablo) did a fabulous job of cleaning all my windows that have the lattice wood grilles, french doors and interior and exterior light fixtures. I initially called and spoke to Rick Matthews however it took several calls to schedule a time when he could see my house and give me a written estimate and I had decided to use another window cleaner who had given me a verbal estimate over the phone. But after I met Rick in person and we discussed how he cleans and what he would clean I made the decision that I preferred QUALITY over price. So I called Rick and he was able to accomadate my schedule. Rick and his crew arrived on time at the scheduled time of 7:30am and were finished in 3.5 hours. Initially I wanted them to clean only the front exterior lights. I was pleasently surprised to find out that his crew cleaned all the exteriors lights in the front, sides and back of the house. In addition, they cleaned 2 cleaning fans. What amazed me was the care each one took in cleaning the windows. They removed all the screens makeing sure to keep them organized. Rick cleaned all the downstairs screens and one of his crew cleaned the upstairs screens. Then they used a paint brush to brush away any cobwebs and dirt from the window sill. Then they cleaned each window pane using a special cloth covered tool soaked in soapy water (a little Dawn and water). Then they used a small squeege to clean away the excess water and finally used a towel to wipe all the remaining water dry. I will definitely use Accurate Window Cleaning again. While their pricing is higher than another quote I received, I believe that "you get what you pay for" and I certainly got HIGH QUALITY SERVICE.

I am pleased with the service provided by Accurate Window cleaning, they were punctual and professional. At my old age I could have never been able to clean my windows as well as these guys did. I am grateful that a service like is offered by such a great company. Well worth the price.

Rick and his crew were punctual and professional. He was very understanding when I wanted to reschedule because it was supposed to (and did) rain on the day I originally scheduled. He warned me that the stain would be lightened but not gone, which was true, it looked better but wasn't gone. The windows are sparkling inside and out and the house looks great. They were efficient too had the whole thing done in 3 hours.

Rick and his crew were on time, hand working and did a FANTASTIC job. Out of 57 windows, they missed 3 but I wasn't home to point them out. All considered, I would still recommend them and will likely use again.

Set up an appointment for an estimate and Rick came right on time. On the day of the window washing, he and his crew of 4 also showed up exactly on time. They were very professional and thorough, Rick really knows his business. They removed all the screens and washed them with soap and water, cleaned all the tracks, the windows shine and everything is sparkling. Would highly recommend them.

We have many windows. Rick sent 4 of his workers. They all were extremely professional and friendly. I told them when they arrived to only clean the windows they could without stepping on our tile roof. They did not step on the tiles and were able to expertly clean all of our windows, skylights, and sliders. I will definitely use them again. Great Experience!

Rick and his team did an amazing job at my house. His prices were very reasonable, crew was extremely professional and on time, and my windows are sparkling! My estimate was spot on and I appreciated that there were no surprised the day of my cleaning. Rick originally estimated about 3-4 hours for the but were done in about 2.5 hours!
