hardwood floor
+ -1 more*Very pleased with how the floors turned out - nothing better than original oak flooring! *Travis came out and did the work himself. Very professional and brought 3+ pages of references during estimate. *Although original quote was $2800, additional cost came from wood replacement because we had some really bad patches. Length of time to do the job also increased due to having to replace the wood. *Would recommend to anyone budgeting for this project - take into account some hotel stays if job takes a little longer and also the additional cost of replacing the wood if the floors are in really bad shape. *Definitely recommend this company to others. Very professional.
Description of Work: *Rough sanded and refinished approximately 900 square feet of oak hardwood flooring - 3 bedrooms with closets, hallway and living and dining room *ended up having to replace 3 large patches of floor due to poor condition that wouldn't come out in the sanding process - looks great and can't tell which boards were replaced *finished with 3 coats of oil based polyurethane - no staining *this home was built in 1954 and was a recent purchased - floors in living and dining area were left in awful condition from animal wear and tear; bedroom areas were in decent condition due to carpet that had been installed over the hardwood flooring; front entryway had parque flooring installed over the hardwood floors *work began on a Tuesday and we were able walk on the flooring the following Wednesday
