Quartz Hill Garden Center

We purchased (48) 25 gallon Italian Cypress from this nursery. We contracted to have drip irrigation installed along with the planting of the trees. The crews showed up as promised, and the work was completed on time. Everything seemed great, until, one of the trees began yellowing and drying up. I immediately contacted the nursery, and left a message for the owner, saying that I needed to know what was going on with this particular tree, and wondering if it would have to be replaced. (These trees were guaranteed for 1 year). I got no response. After nearly 4 weeks had gone by, and numerous telephone attempts, I went to the store in person on at least 3 separate occasions, and began to leave messages with various customer services reps. Still no call back. After nearly 4 weeks of calling and leaving messages, I was able to get a response, and the tree was replaced. Unfortunately, it was stated to me, by the rep that the trees were being overwatered. (When the irrigation was installed, it was connected to a already existing system). Concerned, I contacted the nursery owner. She sent another representative to inspect, at which point I was told the amount of water to the trees was fine. What? So, I have the nursery telling me too much water. I have their irrigation installers saying the water is fine. Which is it?? Again, concerned, and after 2 completely different diagnosis, I again contacted the owner, as I am now worried about the other 47 trees and adequate or inadequate daily water. The owner denied installing our irrigation. Unbelievable. Based on her recollection of our project, I guess I must have paid a small fortune per tree for hole digging. I have since called 3 times, and finally went back into the store this morning, and another sales rep said I would receive a phone call, or someone would be by to inspect all bubblers on each tree. Guess what......no call, no rep. I'm still waiting. Are my 48 trees going to die? Who knows. I wonder how long it will take to get a call back on replacing all 48 trees? UPDATE: The tree was finally replaced, but was installed leaning drastically. An eyesore in an otherwise perfectly straight line of 20 trees. I am now on day 3 of calling to have the tree straightened, and as expected, no response. We HAD decided to use this nursery and it's landscape company for our rather large backyard project. We will not be working with them again. Great place to start a job. Prices are decent. Lousy place if you need warranty work. No one returns calls.
