Description of Work: Contractor poured patio slab and sidewalks and constructed 2 foot retaining wall. Contractor agreed to dig holes for post footers for future patio cover. When final payment on contract was made, there was no discussion about any extra costs. When another contractor was selected to construct patio cover, Bill's Landscaping demanded $400 for digging the holes. I was badgered for 4 months for the $400 payment. I'm 70 and not up to any legal battle in court. I paid up. My recommendation is not to use this contractor. However, if you do, be sure that every detail is in the contract including measurements and materials. They gloss over details or simply leave them out and then substitute lesser quality materials or skip anything that is not specifically in the contract. They also "don't remember" whatever verbal details that they give. Also don't add anything after their work starts as they may use this to demand extra payment after the contract is completed.

+ -1 moreTHE COMPANY WAS GREAT. THEY COME, THEY DO THE JOB AND WHEN I GET HOME IT'S ALL DONE. WHEN MY MOTHER IS THERE, SHE SAID THEY'RE VERY POLITE AND THEY EXPLAIN TO HER WHAT THEY WILL BE DOING.
