+ 0 moreHe was on time. He was good. He was no-nonsense. We didn't have any complaints. He charged a lot but he got the work done so I am happy with that. He really did a good job. He is color blind so we had to help him.
Description of Work: We used Max Baza for handyman work. He fixed an electrical fan and did other handyman work.

+ 2 moreThis man is a licensed General Contractor (License No. 923698) who I found on Craig's List or in the newspaper (I can't remember now which it was) - and I hired him to do some "handyman" work at my home in the spring of last year. The work took a couple of weeks or so and I was very impressed by him. He was polite, clean, friendly and professional. He always showed up when he said he would and was on time. His rate was $25/hour and he did not dawdle - he got the work done and charged me reasonable fees. During every job he gave me an estimate of the time it would take and pretty much accomplished each job in that amount of time. I could not be happier with this guy, and would highly recommend him to ANYONE!
Description of Work: 1) He removed my old hot water heater, purchased and installed a new one, and hauled off the old one. 2) He installed a hose faucet on the side of my house where there was none before. 3) He installed a motion-sensor light on my front porch. 4) He built a custom 8' long and 3' wide wood patio table for me, and when it was finished and I couldn't slide the chairs under it because it was a little too low and the arms of the chairs bumped into it, he fixe it without charging me anything additional. I had someone else tile the top of it because he was honest enough to admit that he was not very experienced with tile work. I really appreciated that honesty. 5) He removed a swamp cooler from a hole in my bedroom wall and hauled it off. Then he fixed the hole, including wood, sheetrock, and stucco work - and painted the inside. You can't even tell there ever was a hole in the wall from the inside or outside. He did beautiful work and did it quickly.
