"I have lived with my freshly-painted kitchen, and cabinets, for about a month now; I wanted to give it a little time before I sat down to write a review - just to ensure my initial feelings of "Oh my God I love it!" remained steadfast. And guess what? I continue to MORE than love my "new" kitchen! It's an anxious process hiring somebody that you don't know, there are so many "what if's" involved, but I am here to announce that everything in this whole process, from getting the initial quote to closing the front door after Jeremy walked away on the last day of the job, went flawlessly. My first meeting with Jeremy was in my kitchen where he looked everything over so that he could then go home and write up a professional quote. During this meeting, Jeremy explained his entire process - what kinds of products he uses, how many days this job would take, etc. It was also during this process that he helped me decide to rebuild a couple of my kitchen drawers (and he has the guy to do it), since I was going to be painting the cabinets and it wouldn't make sense to have a fresh coat of paint on a drawer that was falling apart. He was right. But he wasn't pushy. He offered the service, but I felt comfortable enough that if I had said "I'd rather not do that," he would have still smiled and said "no problem." I received the quote within a day, and hired Jeremy. Jeremy's work, is meticulous. I hadn't had extremely high hopes for kitchen cabinets that are 28-years-old, but they truthfully look brand new. I was impressed with the prep work he and his team undertook - careful measures were taken to ensure no spray got anywhere it shouldn't; all appliances were covered and taped, and plastic was draped over the kitchen door/opening to ensure the rest of the house stayed clean. He took all cabinet doors and drawers home with him/to his shop, and he cleaned and painted them there. The entire kitchen was then painted: walls, ceiling, and cabinets. He brought the doors and drawers back on the last day and re-installed them. I had also purchased drawer and cabinet pulls, which Jeremy put on for me. When the job was done, I kind of just stood in my kitchen and said "wow." I have a modest 1,500 square foot home, a smaller kitchen, and this job has left me feeling like I have the most beautiful kitchen in town. Jeremy is personable, professional, and gives his attention to every, single, detail. He and his team did a wonderful job updating my kitchen and I will be hiring him again soon to start painting other rooms in my home. "From the start the company was very punctual. I was extremely impressed with Steve the painter. The precision in his brush strokes was amazing. I've watched a lot of professional painters in my life and he was by far the best I've seen. He was also very knowledgeable. The other painter David was extremely polite. He was also very skilled. They did an absolutely amazing job. The countertop installation was also very interesting to watch and the men who cut and installed our quartzite countertops were very quick and professional and did an amazing job. Dan, our tile guy, was also very quick and professional. He was very polite and made sure to check with me about decisions on how the tile was placed. I was very appreciative of that. Overall, I was very pleased with every crew that came to our house to work. To have an honest and fair review, I will also list the negatives. They are miniscule but still notable. Communication with management was lacking. I often had to ask when someone was coming. I had my kitchen completely demoed and no more work scheduled for 5 days. Seems like demo could've waited. I had to negotiate the price more than once which seemed inappropriate. Once should've been plenty. Twice I had men show up to work completely unannounced. When the work was completed, there was an absolute cut off of communication. No gratitude for my business of any sort. They sent a worker to ask for the final payment. Overall, the work is extremely quality work, so the company still gets 5/5 stars and I would recommend them. The positives far outweigh the negatives."
