Wilson Electric

This was a small job I thought no one would come out to fix but thought I would give Wilson Electric a call since I had such great service in the past and this company provided the usual, great customer service. Brian worked with my limited and specific schedule and within a short period of time fixed my issue.

It was oblivious these guys knew what they were doing and do not overcharge me. Very respectful and understanding. I would hire them again if another electrical problem occurs. I definitely would recommend them to anyone.

Very well on time, responsive to customer input. Communication regarding start dates and times was excellent. Neat and clean. I am very happy with the job they did.

From the start, Steve and his workers were very professional. They were upfront and honest when they inspected the panel and suggested proper repairs. Unlike other contractors I've dealt with before, Steve and Bryan were quick to return phone calls and showed up on time the day of the repair. Its was obvious that Steve and his crew had a great deal of experience with electrical repairs as the work went without a hitch. The crew did a good job at performing the work and cleaned up the area when complete. Steve came back out the following week to meet with the City Inspector in case any questions came up. I will be recommending Wilson Electric to others looking for electrical repairs and I will be using Wilson Electric again in the future.

The workers were excellent, they worked really hard and seemed very competent. The foreman made some communication errors, but they were corrected in the end. The final cost was 10% over original bid but I agreed to each additional cost.

They were wonderful. They took their time, and it is very beautiful. The owner made sure the work was done correctly. He was a perfectionist, which we really appreciated. This was our first time using this company, and would defiantly recommend.

They quickly and efficiently determined that the aluminum wiring on the outside outlet, which had never been pigtailed with copper like the inside outlets in the house, had worked itself loose inside the outlet box. This outlet tied in with the other two inside the house, and both worked after fixing the first outlet. The wiring was pigtailed, and a GFI installed. They answered all my questions courteously and professionally, and honored the Angie's List coupon.

I had 10+ electricians come out to my house to give quotes before I finally chose Wilson Electric. And I am very glad I did. First off, Steve (the owner) came out and told me exactly what I needed and gave me a very reasonable price. He worked around my schedule and showed up on time when it came down to install my new panel. They also did a nice stucco job after the new panel was installed. I am very happy with the work they did.

I spoke with Brian on the phone and Steve came to check out the job. They were straight forward on what the job entailed and explained what I needed to do with Edison to move my panel. Their quote was $400 less than the other quote I got from another electrician. We scheduled the job and as told, it took 2 days. The electrical work was $2600 and stucco repair $150. Steve and his crew were all very nice, efficient and I will definitely get quotes for future jobs from Wilson Electric. The only issue that arose was the stucco guy was late, but he was finished by the time we had to leave, so didn't become a problem.

That was good. Responsiveness was good. I might tell a friend about them. They left the area clean. They did everything they were supposed to.

This was our second experience with Wilson Electric. Based on our first experience we expected good service and we were not disappointed. Although our job was a difficult one (the house "fought back" according to Steve), it was completed in a timely manner with good humor on the part of all team members. They disrupted our household as little as possible and cleaned up at the end of each day. They weren't bothered by our three dogs and one cat and even threw in a little dog play at days' end. We now have completely updated electric and no damage to our original paneling (which even amazed the inspector). We are exptremely happy with the service provided by Wilson Electric and will continue to hire them when needed.

Installation was quick and easy. They gave suggestions as where would be the best location of the security light.

When the estimator came out he thought we were going to need quite a bit more work than it turned out was actually necessary. He neglected to give us a written or itemized estimate. When the electrician himself came to do the job, he ended up taking care of everything rather quickly and without much fuss. However, due to the initial estimate, we were charged more than the work justified. After having a good discussion with Brian Wilson, everything was straightened out. Brian was very apologetic about the huge misunderstanding. Initially we gave a poor rating on Price, but have since updated this review to reflect the quick resolution to the pricing misunderstanding.

A technician came out and initially thought it was a wiring problem. On closer inspection, they discovered that we had a computer based Centralite system, which they had no experience with. Rather than spend a bunch of time trying to figure it out, they were honest and didn't charge us for the visit. They also have us a referral. I would definitely use them again.

The service was provided in a timely and professional manner. We would definitely hire again.

Pretty good there was a problem that did erupt afterwards but it kind of solved itself so I guess you couldn't really blamed it in them, it was one of those snag in the system it's been corrected now. There was some problem that came up with the system, probably because it's very old, that part of the house was probably added maybe fifty years ago so,if we had done a complete overall of that part of the system there wouldn't be any problems at all and they did the job that we called them to do.

Spoke with Brian for the estimate, who was extremely professional, thorough, and communicative via text and phone. He answered several inquiry call/texts in a timely manner. Technicians arrived promptly, as scheduled. We discussed the option of looking for a power source in the ceiling crawl space, so as to not have to cut holes in the plaster wall to connect to the existing light switch. Cudos to the technician who crawled up in that 2' crawl space searching for a power source. They finished the job in 4 hours. My ceilings are plaster, which presents an added challenge and the job was done with minimal need for plaster repair, all of which was discussed as a possibility and I was well aware of. On top of it all, the technicians were pleasant and cordial. Couldn't be happier with the results and will definitely call Wilson Electric for future jobs and highly recommend their services.

It went great! They isolated the faulty wire and got it working within 30 minutes. They were such nice guys. Great family business. I will always call them from here on out if I have an electrical issue I can't resolve myself.

Wilson Electric did a great job with the electrical work they did in my house. I bought a new house which need more plugs and to fix some improperly done work from previous owner. They fix all the problems and was very friendly and helpful. Also after talking to him and sharing that I needed some drywall work done he recommend Brian to come give me a quote. I ended up working with Brian and his team on the drywall work. They removed all of the texture on the interior walls and plastered the areas that needed it. It was a big job but they got it down and it looks great. I highly recommended Wilson Electric and Brian's team. They did a great job and at a good price.

The BEST! Reliable, knowledgeable and excellent communicators. Steve and his team completed a full rewire and panel upgrade for our 1950's house (with original electrical). They installed a new panel, sub-panel in the garage, recessed lighting in the living room, outdoor lighting, closet lights, dozens of plugs and switches, a bathroom fan and hard-wired smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. Steve is very knowledgeable of local codes and the permitting process. As our preferences changed, Steve eagerly accommodated without irk. The team was polite and punctual. I HIGHLY recommend them and will certainly use them again for all my electrical needs.

Everything went as planned and price was very reasonable. The crew was very professional and were available to answer questions. I would rehire if needed for future electrical work.

I am overall very happy with the experience. I worked with Brian Chavez, the stepson of the owner, who is courteous, professional, likeable, knowledgeable and very helpful when it comes to turning a vague idea into a concrete plan. And it's not just electrical things he's good with, he even correctly identified which shade of paint would match the ceiling just by looking. The install crew who actually did the work were also good, they maintained constant communication to make sure all was right, and when they finished, the texturing in the repaired areas of drywall were a perfect match for the original areas. The only area of deficiency which I can think of is not with Wilson Electric but with the lights they use for the LED recessed lighting. Some of the units will seem to work normally when turned on, but after some minutes that begin to randomly go dim for a moment before returning to normal brightness, and they do this every 20-30 seconds or so. We confirmed that it's not the circuitry by moving the lights to other sockets and finding that the lights that did this kept on doing it no matter where they were plugged in, whereas the ones that didn't have this problem continued not having any problem no matter where they were plugged in. We even caught it on video just to confirm. When told about this, Brian quickly dropped off three replacement units for our two problem lights, which is good because one of the replacements had the same problem. So you might want to go to Lowe's or Home Depot to supply your own lights, but other than that, the work was impeccable. In total, this is what was installed: - 3 recessed lights in the bathroom - 5 recessed lights in the kitchen (one over the sink with its own switch and the other four on another switch) - New outlet in the kitchen - Replacement of regular outlet with GFCI in the bathroom - Also they removed an old disused vent and patched up the drywall and baseboard

We had an excellent experience with Wilson Electric. Beginning with our call to their office they were professional and asked all the necessary questions to quote a fair price (which they did). They also briefly described the qualifications of the two people who would come out, which gave us a sense of confidence in their work. They also do Saturday appointments, which is a huge plus for our family. When they arrived, they were outstanding. Professional and friendly. They went right to work by laying down plastic to protect our house from any dust. Then they went to work carefully, methodically, and safely. Aside from the quality of their work they were friendly and polite. They made my wife smile when they complimented our furniture and commented on how nicely the fans would go with it. Bottom line is that we now have a feeling of trust and confidence in Wilson Electric so they are now our first choice for all our electrical needs.
