+ 11 moreI have worked with many contractors and sub-contractors in LA over the years (unfortunately had to fire several of them too) so I mean it when I say Tom (Tomik) and his guys are fantastic. Because of so many bad experiences with other contractors that were either incompetent and/or dishonest I had become skeptical of all contractors. Tom and his guys restored my faith that there are still talented contractors that are trustworthy and take pride in their work. I have come to trust Tom and appreciate his work. If you have ever had the misfortune of dealing with a disreputable contractor you can appreciate the stress, frustration and cost. I experienced none of that working with Tom. He is dependable, does exactly what he says he will do (plus a little extra to make sure things are done right; at no extra charge), does it when he says he will, priced very fairly (especially for the quality of work he delivers) and is trustworthy. I will continue to use Tom (Tomik) for all of our other LA projects. Simply a fantastic guy to work with.
Description of Work: I first hired Tomik (Tom) to do some basic framing and stucco work to repair termite damage. The work was well constructed, plumb, level and no cracking. Very nice. Based on the quality of the first job I had him install some kitchen cabinets and counter top - square, level, properly seamed and properly sealed. Again, nice work. I then had him put new cement board around a tub and tile the tub/shower. Once again, nice work. Because Tom had repeatedly done great work at a very fair price I had him and his guys do several other jobs including: reframing (studs, joists and rafters), drywall, lay a subfloor, install more kitchen cabinets, more tile, install 4 new doors, install 12 new windows, stucco, interior and exterior painting (he sub this out to a very good painter and oversaw the job) and then I had Tom build a new 50' fence.
