The crew that came out to do the clean up on my front yard was very polite and did a good job . They mentioned that they would like to bring a 4-man crew out for 2 hours to remove the ice plant and then we could do the remaining clean up during the regular maintenance visits. After the initial visit, I called back to request a quote for the ice plant removal and sod replacement (I didn't want it done in a piecemeal fashion). I spoke with Laura, who was very pleasant on the phone. She sent out their irrigation specialist that same day to do an assessment of our irrigation system to make sure it adequately covered the area where we wanted to put the sod and said that he would also assess the level of effort for the job and they would provide us with a quote. I received a call that same evening to inform me that I'd been charged for the irrigation specialist's visit, which was fine. But the following week, I received a call from someone else in the office asking when I wanted to schedule the four-man crew to come out. I replied that I'd spoken to Laura and was waiting for a quote for the ice plant/sod project and after that call, I never heard back from them regarding the quote or the results of the irrigation assessment that I paid for. I was pretty disappointed because I was looking forward to working with them and getting my yard back in shape.

The owner of the business called me to apologize, saying that they don't have an account with Angie's List and don't monitor the email account, so they only recently saw my request for information. He was very nice and I would certainly have asked for a bid if I were still in need of the service.

I have found the company to be very responsive and easy to work with. There's the regular, routine work that needs to happen every week and then there are special things that need to be addressed every now and then. The two guys who work on my property are always professional and willing to talk through ideas or work that I think might need to be done. The office staff follows up and it gets done. I always know what I am being charged. They also have various levels of service from someone completely handling the project (like flowers in the front of the house) to me picking out (and up) the flowers and them simply planting them. They are great to work with.

When Mueller Landscape declined to come to the house to give an estimate, I declined their service estimate of $400 per month to mow/trim the yard once a week.

I had a garden service weekly for over 10 yrs, until his retirement. I have since hired and was impressed and shocked by how much they accomplished in just 2 visits of 2 hrs each. Our 2/3 acre has never looked been taken care of. The crew was the hardest working I have ever seen. More than satisfied, these guys are worth every penny. Thanks! With the convenience of ordering service online, quality of the work done, pleasant interaction with all, and reasonable prices, I will be a customer for life.

They usually get here when they are supposed to. Now we have the same guy who comes, but for a while they had a big turn over, and so we had different people coming out, and we had to go out and re-explain every time. Now the guy comes out, and he knows what to do. They worked with us on the price, and they do good work.

They did a great job on a property that REALLY needed a lot of work. There were weeds knee-high all over the place. There was trash mixed in with the debris and weeds. Trees needed work and everything needed pruning. There was a trash-out company that hauled away junk and there was some overlap between trashing the yard out and the landscaping itself! But Mueller was very cool to not say anything like and quot;this part here belongs to the trash guysand quot; or anything - they just worked and worked hard. I just referred another client to them today to tend to a diseased tree in the front yard in Clairemont. Regarding the job this referral is for, I think this was the total cost but can't remember because we had so much work to do and lots of invoices. But I do know they worked for two days and I think even came back one more time. There may have been one more small invoice but no matter what, the cost was REASONABLE and my seller was HAPPY! It's a family business and to me that still matters. I will hire Mueller Landscaping for any future listing projects where we need help with the yard or trees. Thank you, Mueller Family!

Fine. Over 3 years I have only needed to contact them once or twice and John and Laura were pleasant and understanding. The service was never an issue.

When scheduling the appoint with John I mentioned to him I work 10 mins from my home and wanted to meet his crew at my house to explain what I need done. He suggested one of his crew call me 10-15 mins. before they arrive so neither of us would have to wait. On the scheduled work day I received that call and met them at my home with no wait time. I was not surprised at this as I have used Mueller Landscaping in the past and they have never disappointed me. As previously stated, the only surprise this time was how much the workers accomplished in the allotted time. They have always met or gone beyond my expectations. Prior to using Mueller I had tried several landscaping businesses but none can compared to Mueller Landscaping. I recommended them to a co-worker who continues to use their service. You,too, will be impressed by their professionalism, courteousness, and workmanship. I still have more work to be done and guess who I will use? Yup, Mueller Landscaping.

I hired this company at the beginning of May due to my need to have neck surgery. At that time, the planter beds were slightly overgrown with a moderate amount of weeds, jbut healthy. My lawn, however, was about five weeks overgrown. They did a good job with the lawn on their first visit but did not touch the planter beds. The planter beds were not attended to on their next visit two weeks later. When I spoke with Junior on their third visit, I requested they thin out and weed the planter beds. I watched as Junior's assistant poorly worked on one planter bed while he took a weedwacker to another planter. It was obvious at that time that neither one of them never anything about most plants. I have geraniums, lavender, rosemary and a few others, nothing that I would consider 'exotic' or rare. I spoke with Junior immediately after that, he said that he and his partner could only spend a limited amount of time on the property. When I asked how much time he said about 15 minutes per visit which was only every other week. Sixty dollars a month for only 30 minutes of work seems very excessive to me; my parents pay their lawn mowers $120/month and their lawn is 10X the size of mine and they come out every week. To Mueller's credit, when I called to cancel their services the woman I spoke with was very understanding and did say she was sorry things did not work out. My suggestion to this company would be 1) find workers who know how to work with plants more appropriately and 2) provide better services for the price.

Absolutely horrible! Talk about bait and switch. The wife was very nice on the phone, but when her husband called he was overly obnoxious and very customer unfriendly. He wanted to charge me for just and estimate, and essentially refused to do any yard work at my house. I don't see how they stay in business.

Their prices were competitive. They got back to me right away.

I have a fairly large piece of land. They treat me very well. I have had no problems at all. If I call the owner comes out and addresses any concerns. They are very clean. They give you good service and they have good contacts as well. They have refered me to some other service providers and which have worked well also.
