I was very pleased with the overall work and experience I had with Pete and the company and would highly recommend them and will use them again if any issues arise with my garage door or opener.

I appreciated that they had someone available to come out on short notice right before the holiday weekend. Our old opener stopped working and we didn't want to go 4 or more days without a functional garage door. I opted for the more expensive, belt-drive opener and like that it's much more quiet than our old screw-drive opener. The only issue that came up was unfortunately a big one. After installing the new opener, the guy was tightening the existing springs on our garage doors. I understand that this was necessary since they were too loose and not providing enough lift. However, as soon as he was finished, one of the springs broke. The springs were just over 3 and 1/2 years old and it was my understanding that they should last 5-10 years. I don't think it was coincidence that they happened to break right after being adjusted and was concerned that they had been overtightened. It was upsetting to find out that after spending $375 on the new opener, I was now expected to spend $225 on new springs. I felt I should've been told of this possibility. The installer said the springs break "all the time". I later talked to someone in the office who offered to discount the springs to $200 so the whole job cost me $575. I asked for and they gave me a 5 year warranty on the new springs. I appreciated that both the installer and the office personnel were courteous and good about explaining options but I still feel some doubt about whether those springs would've broken if they'd been tightened just a little less.

Michele was very friendly and profession on the phone when arranging the appt, she answered all my questions. Pete showed up on time, was friendly, helpful, educated me and explained everything about the working of the door and the opener, quoted prices on windows and new doors, oiled and lubricated all the hinges, springs and pulley track, adjusted the rubber seal on the bottom of the door, bent the dent I had put in the door. He was friendly and professional. It was a fantastic service experience and probably one of the best experiences I have had in my lifetime with hring service. I couldn't have asked for anything more.

The estimate appointment and installation schedule were on time. Michele at the office was very helpful and responsive. The overall installation only took about 2 hours and the technician went over maintenance and key pad function thoroughly. They also helped me submit the rebate form to get an upgrade for a more expensive door for a minimal price difference. They also brought two different window patterns on the installation day to help me make a final decision on which type looked best. This is one of the best service experiences that I have had after hiring multiple companies for other home repair jobs.

Our garage door was making terrible noises. We also wanted an additional remote. We contacted Easy Open and purchased their tune up special. The company was very responsive in terms of accommodating our requested service date and making follow up calls to confirm date and type of remote required. The repair person arrived on time, performed some adjustments and maintenance and clearly explained what he had done and what we needed to do to keep up the maintenance. The tune up special was $54 and the remote was $50. The door works well now and has only a small amount of noise at the end of opening it.

Our garage door was making straining noises and was not working properly. I searched Angie's List for a recommendation and found Easy Open Door. They responded the same day we called and scheduled an appointment for first available date. Troy appeared a little early. He was courteous and knew exactly what he was doing. He completed a quality job efficiently. The door has never worked better.

I called them on Monday morning because over the weekend bolts started falling off our garage door. Needless to say this was rather freaky. I believe I spoke with Michelle, who was very friendly and made an appointment for Thursday morning. She told us not to use the door until they came to check it out. On Thursday morning Pete came over and inspected the garage. He said the tracks were wideset and one of the rollers would need replacing. He replaced a number of bolts and lubed the whole thing. Pete was very friendly and explained everything that he did. The whole thing took maybe half an hour. As a bonus, the garage door now runs so quietly and smoothly. It had really been banging around for quite some time. I thought it was an amazing deal for them to come out and fix the whole garage for only $54. I will definitely be calling them again for any garage door servicing or troubles.

The guy tuned up 2 garage doors for me and he did a great job. It was well done and I intend to have them come out and do more.

The service call took only 45 minutes, from arrival time, installation of new garage door opener system and clean up. The serviceman arrived on time and was very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

Company did a great job, in fact, I referred them to my neighbor who is also going to use their services. There was a problem with a seal, however, they responded promptly and replaced the item the next day. I highly recommend this company.

I got an immediate call back, and they sent Pete out right away, that same day. He was on time, very nice, personable. And he did an excellent job servicing the garage door. He explained everything to me, what he was doing, what needed to be serviced. And I was very happy with the service I received. I would definitely recommend Easy Open Door Co., and I would use them again if needed.

The technician (Pete) was on time (I was the one who was a bit late) and worked diligently to install the door and opener. It took just over three hours. I don't yet have an electrical outlet installed near the opener, so Pete creatively threaded an extension cord around various objects in the garage so that I could plug it in and use it until the outlet is installed.

Bought the deal from Angie's list to repair my garage door. Troy showed up on time and did awesome job. Not only he maintained the door and hinge, but also he repaired hooks and adjust the central controller. He is very technical, and showed me how to maintain the garage door for daily. I am very satisfied with his service. And very happy with the result ( my door did not work well since the day one I bought the house).

I signed up for the service and then I ended up asking for a refund because the person who came didn’t do the actual work. He was great. He came out to tune up my garage door and after going through everything about how old it was and things like that, I decided that it wasn’t cost effective and I needed to get a new garage door. He ended up giving me a free estimate. He was excellent. He quoted me for a new door. The estimate was 1300. I would consider using him for the work.

Arrived on time. The were very appreciative of the area being clean and ready to be worked on. they mentioned this several times. Got right to work removing old door, removing part of a cabinet that was in the way (we knew this was necessary ahead of time) and installing the new door and opener. Overall took 2 hrs. Works great. I am writing this on behalf of my 92 year old parents who have old world standards and expectations and it is they who are very pleased with the results. It looks good to me too

Bought the BIG deal to have some preventive maintenance done to me doors. Showed up on time, just went straight to work. Did what was promised, cleaned, oiled, and adjusted door. This was just as preventive maintenance, so the door was working fine before the service. The door now operates a bit smoother. Talked to me about upgrade options and provided a few tips I can do to keep the door working smooth.

I told the Technician that the garage door had been malfunctioning periodically (would not close properly). After inspection, he determined that one of the cable drum bearings had failed and that the other was on its way to seizing so he replaced both (no additional charge), adjusted the pressure sensor on the motor, and lubricated the whole system. Opener and door work great now. The technician even gave me a can of lubricant to "self-service" lube the system on my own. What a refreshing experience, no BS, and no upselling. I will defintely use them again.

Installer was extremely competent and professional and complimented me on my purchase of a garage door opener. Too often, installation of buyer's products are met with derision. In this case, everything went very smooth and I was extremely pleased with the cost and overall value. I plan to use EOD for all my garage door maintenance needs.

They were featured on Angie's List "Big Deal" and offered a garage door service for $54 (regularly $89). I took advantage of the offer since my garage door was not opening properly and they had great ratings. Pete arrived towards the end of the two-hour window, but the service only took about 20 minutes. With a little grease, my door now opens great! I was afraid it was going to be much more serious, but it turned out to be an easy fix and no additional parts were needed. He also helped me reset the password to the outside keypad and explained other features of my garage door opener. I appreciated that he took the time to explain common garage door problems and what to look for as well as pros and cons of my particular brand of door. He also didn't mind that my toddler was fascinated with his work. The only reason I gave a "B" for professionalism was that the company vehicle was a little crummy. It did not affect the service, only my initial impression when their technician drove up to my house. It would have also been nice if Pete had given me a call when he finished the previous job to let me know he was on the way to my house.

It was very good. Troy showed up on time and did everything he was supposded to do in no time. He also explained to me what he did and gave me tips to take care of the door. I'll recommend them to all my friends.
