I had 2 other people at my house doing work and after only a few minutes the man told me the cement on top of my chimney was cracked and I needed also a cage for the sparks and I was distracted and he offered to do it for 1300 dollars. He spent maybe a hour most of it waiting for the elastimeric cement to dry. I feel like he took advantage of my distraction and stole a lot of money from me. Really ripped me off 500 dollars would have been too much for the work he did. He was a true scam artist. Didn't even clean well the part of the bricks where the wood burns. Which was the 79 dollar deal he Weasled himself in with

Everything went great. Very professional, arrived on time and completed the work quickly. The chimney Cap had to be custom ordered and they returned a few weeks later to install it.

It was a pleasant experience from their arrival; the elder gentleman, in top hat, and the young man were friendly, polite, and respectful. They were efficient and cared about my convenience. While one employee cleaned out fireplace, the other was on the roof inspecting chimney and caps. As fireplace hasn't been used a lot, there wasn't anything in the chimney (tube) to remove. Their was a problem with the caps not being quite right. As, replacing the caps would not be an option for me right now, the employee was able to make some adjustments to it so that it would be workable for the season.

Chimney Sweeps gets it all right: competent, friendly, on time and an understandable explanation of work they suggested we should consider having done in order to correct a problem with a segment of the chimney cap. We will definitely continue to use them to maintain our fireplace and chimney.

The inspection was thorough and the associate who cleaned out the frieplace was careful not to make a mess around the area surrounding the fireplace.

Cleaning went great..they were in and out quickly and will no mess! Inspection uncovered water damage, which they owed us and explained what was going on. With no sales pressure (which I appreciated), they provided an estimate to repair and prevent going forward. We had them back out a few weeks later to do the work. Highly recommend!

OK. But we feel they used the service to try to sell us things that we don't need.

Went well. They were able to stay and do all the repairs. Very professional. They also helped fix a damper and assisted in putting on new fireplace doors.

Excellent. We needed a new burner set (which we suspected) and Chimney Sweeps ordered it and installed it without any hassle.

So far so good. I’m waiting for them to come out to install parts; some had to be made. Price was a lot, but I have nothing to which I can compare. Ariel seems to be very knowledgeable and competent.

Scheduling the inspection appointment was easy and pleasant. They even sent us reminders. When they came to do the inspection, they showed us pictures of the damages of the chimney and the poor repair job that was done previously by the HOA contractor. We decided to purchase the gas logs and grate from them. Although the whole job was a bit pricey, the outcome looks beautiful. We couldn't be happier with the outcome. They were punctual and professional.

The two men who came were professional and fast. I hired them on an Angie's List Deal, so I don't know what their regular charge for basic cleaning is, but the amount I paid was less than half what I usually pay. My reservations about price are that I asked about a fireplace back and the one they were selling was 3 times more expensive than the same product on several Internet sites. Also, they told me I needed a more than $1000 repair of my chimney cap which they said was badly cracked, and unless fixed, could let in rain and destroy my chimney. After they left, I researched the price of chimney cap replacement, and the price they quoted me was fair, though I'm still considering it.

Punctual and performed the work quickly. Identified some problems with the fireplace unit and provided me a referral to a guy that specialized in repairing my brand of fireplace.

found that the chimney cap had to be replaced...not cheap but needed to be done
