Arrived promptly, performed work as advertised, and cleaned up after themselves. They also provided a referral for additional repairs that my gas log needed.

They were wonderful. They were prompt. They came on time. They were professional and they did a wonderful job of we bought the special deal to have our fireplace gas log, everything cleaned and checked to make sure that it is all working and then they check the chimney for cracks and put forth and so on and we had to pay more money. They ordered a new cop for the top of our chimney because there was nothing up there on the top because it is an old house. They called when the new part came in to scheduled to come back and do it and they did that. We were very pleased with them. They were little pricey I think maybe, but other than that I would recommend them because they used good materials, stainless steel over the cheap stuff. They know their business and they were professional. We would definitely recommend them to anybody else that needed our service. They were very prompt about calling me. They did a good job cleaning and they took all of the gas logs out and cleaned them and they are just beautiful and they cleaned all the leaves out and they really did a good job. We are very happy with them. I would use them in the future.

The parts had to be ordered and it took about a month for them to come in. The guys arrived on time, and it didn't take them too long to install everything. They took all the old parts with them and cleaned everything up.

I used the big deal from Chimney Sweeps, Inc. It cost me about 400 dollars and we did other repairs that I guess were necessary. My experience was expensive. They are very professional. I probably will use this provider again in the future.

They show up on time, did the inspection, then proceeded to tell me it would cost me almost $4500+ to have a fire and that my fireplace would never be the same, they included almost a $1000 to seal other vents on my roof, and to place a fire shield in my firebox. The young man that came to my house repeatedly told me that my fireplace would never be what it once was...etc...but it would be able to have a fire for $4500+. Later, when i had a second opinion, the professional chimney sweep explained that many of the things were not required for safety and could be done at a later time. Also, my fireplace was built in the 1970s and thus was a truly great system. He said that if I had the firebox rebuild and the crown fixed (both cost less than $2200 by a specialist that only does fireplace masonry) my fireplace would not only be as good as ever, but with proper cleaning and maintenance would last another 150 years....no fire shield needed. The second opinion also advised that since the chimney was very dirty he would need to sweep it to view the lining of the chimney. He was confused as to how the prior company could even perform a complete inspection if they could see the chimney lining. I was angry since I paid the first company to sweep and inspect it....I guess they just wanted to get my money and forgot to sweep it. I assumed that the fireplace was not dirty since it was so damaged. It became apparent that the low cost sweep and inspection is the ploy to get in the door and give scary, vague repair estimates in the hopes that some will just get scared and pay the inflated cost. So glad I checked another professional company. I went with Swede Chimney Sweep (also on Angie?s List) and they were AWESOME! Also did receive a full refund from Chimney Sweeps Inc when I called them and explained my terrible experience.

Prompt, courteous service. My fireplace glass sparkles, and I can actually see inside my fireplace again. Serviceman set my mind at ease as to if the gas pilot light was burning normally.

The sweeps called in advance and arrived on time. They showed me what needed to be done and provided a complete cost estimate. When the parts had been fabricated, they called to schedule the installation. Again, they called in advance and arrived on time. They competed the work expeditiously, painted the new cap to match the trim, and cleaned up. A very painless experience (except for the $3200, of course).

Very professional and prompt arrival.. Told me what they found and asked if I wanted them to continue with the cleaning. They were very neat, and cleaned up after everything was completed. Both gentlemen were very personable. Found an additional issue, explained what it was and how to correct it, and how much it would cost.

Very expensive. Told me I needed 2 special order items. This was why it was expensive. I wish I had gotten a second opinion. Considering they knew I was elderly and handicapped, feel they should have cleaned fireplace of all the dust. I had thought this was part of any chimney company service.

They did a fine job. Two technicians came out. They were prompt, efficient and thorough. I know my fire place is safe now. I had no issues scheduling their service.

Unfortunatrly, roof piece needs to be replaced due to severe rusting - $700.00 I was not prepared to have to spend.

I had no idea that the structure had cracked over the incorrect manner that it was sealed. The guys gave me an estimate to have it fixed. There was no pressure in getting it fixed right then and there. Did the cleaning which was really dirty. FYI, creosote logs are a joke. Don't waste your money. Get your chimneys inspected annually and cleaned as directed. Will continue to use this company for my chimney needs.

In order to clean the chimney, they had remove the chimney cap. Because the bolts holding the cap on were rusted, they had to break them in order to remove the cap. Since the old cap could no longer be used (because of the broken bolts) they had to replace it, which cost an additional $322. I was not expecting this added cost in addition to the $79 chimney cleaning. The workmen did advise me up front that they would have to break the bolts, so I did approve the added cost in advance. They were very professional. I also appreciated that they took great care inside to cover the carpeting and fireplace hearth to prevent dirt from the chimney from escaping into the house. The entire job took about an hour, so very quick.

Gary was punctual, professional. Explained everything they do for general inspection; then discussed in detail issues found (this chimney has not been maintained in 15+ years so there were a few). Handled initial needs that evening, scheduled another appointment for further work on structure of chimney itself. Very pleased.

When he came, he looked right at my chimney and was very honest. He said when the house was built in 2009, the standards were not as exact for gas and smoke escaping from the chimney as they are now. I had a gas fireplace. He let me know that the builders had done just the minimum and my chimney was safe but not totally safe. He wanted to make sure there were no birds caught in there. He let me know things were a little rusty and I should have it rebuilt in order for it to be really safe. If my chimney were inspected then, it would not pass. There honesty was absolutely amazing. In the end, I hired them to replace the parts of my chimney at the very top in order to keep it safe. I paid half before the work started and the other half after they had finished. When they called, they made sure they could come if I wasn't here. I just like the way they ran their business. In the end, it took him about an hour and a half to finish the job. They belong to the BBB, the National Fireplace Institute and are also a member of the National Chimney Sweep Guild. He didn't even charge me for my initial inspection which would normally cost $79.00.

Two very professional young men arrived, got right to work and gave me a written evaluation of what work they thought my home did require. Although no work was done on that date, when I am ready, I will be calling them back to do the job.

They were awesome. They were fast and I am very happy with them. The owner was very personable. We would love to use them again.

The technician did the work as promised, and he did a decent job of cleaning up after himself. However, he was a bit arrogant when dealing with me.

Great! The company was in touch by telephone to set up and confirm the appointment. When they weren't going to be on time for my appointment, they called to let me know and gave me an approximate time of arrival. They were very considerate of my time and arrived within the time frame they told me. They came in, did the job, made recommendations and left without all the time-drain,unnecessary chit-chat or sales pressure.
