Description of Work: We had an initial assessment of the overall safety and function of our fireplace and chimney. We then received a bid for extensive repair work, including bringing the fireplace up to code. The people were extremely knowledgeable, professional and seemed reasonable in their bid to do the additional work. |We are getting another estimate before we decide to go with Chimney Sweeps, Inc.

Description of Work: They inspected my chimney and told me I needed a huge bill. That's the only thing I'm unsure about because I ended up spending 2,500.00 for them to come out. I should've had a second opinion. I haven't had the entire service completed yet but the one small job ended up in a big bill for me. |Tehy found other things wrong with the chimney. |

Description of Work: Clean Chimney and repaired outside issues on breaks and replaced crown.

Description of Work: I used the services of Chimney Sweeps. They did not have to do the chimney itself but there was some device around the chimney that was not allowing the air to flow properly, that was a danger for a possible chimney fire, we went and have them do the work.

Description of Work: Cleaned one chimney, examined the other and said it did not require cleaning. Excellent service, did not try to oversell. Very nice person, would definitely use again.

Description of Work: Overall, these guys are good! I went well over my budget and in retrospect, I could have done some of the work myself. My plans were to just get the chimney swept and a cap. This is an older house and the chimney did not need to be swept, but major repairs were needed on the chimney. They installed a cap, repaired the crown and sealed the brick. The only item that I question is the sealant for the brick . . . it was a bit pricey . . . but everything else was in-line with expectations.

Description of Work: Chimney didn't need to be cleaned. They did an inspection and advised me what needed to be done and why. When I am ready to make the repairs I will call them back.
