Description of Work: Installed rain gutters and screens. Standard quality. Only issue I have is that when we discussed the required width of gutters (the old ones were too small) they assured me that the recommended width would be wide enough. But they used small brackets to attach the trough (vs the larger preexisting brackets) thereby reducing the usable width of the trough by an inch. In heavy rain conditions, some of the water shoots out beyond the trough. In addition, we had a rain barrel installed which quickly fills up and then spills over flooding the area that previously had no problems. Lastly, in negotiations, after pleading with them, they allowed me a only a small amount of time to clean-up and repair any areas of the beams on which the new gutters would be placed. They worked on the other side of the house while I hastily and sloppily made efforts to sand, patch and paint areas of concern. Had I not done this, many areas of debris collection and rot would have been guttered over without cleaning or repair had I not negotiated this condition. I had to do it myself as having another contractor stand by to do repairs would have driven up the price substantially. Plus it is difficult to get a contractor to do such a small job. I can't imagine that homeowners would be satisfied with new gutters being attached and covering/hiding rotten wood and mold and debris. And how is the homeowner supposed to know if there are repairs to be made without removing the old gutters? Yet I can understand that the contractor wants to just do only the install. This may just be a relatively common "industry" practice to only do the gutter installation itself. It may be that a general contractor would be better suited to hire for a situation like mine. And in all fairness to this good company, they did make an effort to accommodate me.

Description of Work: Terrible customer service. Unprofessional office staff. Scheduling errors. Appt changed night before scheduled day. Downspouts were out-of-stock!! Took 6 weeks to complete job. Sent overdue invoice notice even though job was incomplete! Really?

Description of Work: Affordable Raingutters were great to work with. The Front Office was very professional and responsive whenever I called. The installation was done perfectly and exactly to my somewhat complex special requirements. I was not able to be onsite the day of the install yet the foreman called me to confirm my special concerns and do a last discussion over the difficult areas. When I returned home everything was exactly as I wanted and perfectly cleaned up like they had never been there. Very highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: Gave an estimate on 12/7 with very little work to be done. I needed an addition, to the gutters that are already done and connections to a rain barrel. He gave me an estimate for $362. I faxed my contract on 12/9, someone in the office said they needed to look at their schedule, and get back to me. I never heard back and called again this morning, they have no record of me, and a $500 minimum, which I am now being informed of. The front office workers are very unpleasant on the phone, and the man who gave me the estimate no longer works there.

Description of Work: I have used this company several times in the past for cleaning. In fact they installed the gutters several years ago. The service/sales rep was not the one that I had done business with in the past-- he was no longer with the company. When they quoted the price of $500 to clean the gutters (their minimum) which is twice what I paid the previous time, I asked if they could give a loyalty discount -- they refused. Disappointing that years of loyalty (including when economy was down yet I still used their service) did not come into consideration

They originally were to be there at end of November but moved up to October (21/2 week wait only ), then we're to come on Wednesday but called to change to Friday And we're very prompt and efficient. Estimator very helpful in assisting us to determine our needs.
