Fantastic. Our experience started with Skip coming out and giving us an estimate. We really liked his no pressure style. He gave us options and when we started with ideas that he felt would not be needed he took the time to explain his proposal and his rationale. We had an install appointment within a week and the job was done quickly, professionally, and it looks great. Skip took the time to come out on the day of the install to make sure we were happy and discuss any issues. The office staff were very professional, responsive to our requests, and extremely helpful with scheduling and follow up questions. Great service. Great product. We would use them again!

I had hoped the gutter would cover complete side of house. Because of wires from solar panel sit only covers 2/3 of west side of house.

Not great. Scheduled appointment times were changed last minute, installers arrived without downspouts! Took 6 wks to complete job. Rec’d past due bill before job completed. Extremely rude office personnel!

During the estimation visit we worked with Rob, the owner, who arrived on-time, listened carefully to what we wanted, provided a paint sample brochure, answered all our questions, and also gave recommendations based on his experience. The installation team was on-time, professional, considerate and efficient in their completion of the project. It took 4 hours to complete the job. The gutters, hand fitted corners, and downspout joints were cleanly connected with no visible sunlight gaps. All of the downspout pipes were solidly connected to the house. They also used a spray paint can of color matched paint and touched up any marks and paint scratches so the gutters and downspouts looked perfect! They also walked me around the installation and asked if I had any questions or concerns. Payment over the phone at their main office was quick and easy. There was also an Angie's List discount which was a plus. It was an enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend and definitely use Affordable Raingutters again in the future.

Installed water diverters on upper and mid-roof areas. Intricate customized drain fitting between 3 tight roof levels. Caulked as required. Installed 2 rain chains. Required several confident teams to complete the job. Keeping their appointments very difficult. Graciously addressed each of my concerns Jobsite remained clean and orderly. Perfect house/drain color match. Heavy rain has tested the installation - my covered deck, multi-purpose room is dry and ready for a gathering A long completion wait for a top-quality job - worth the wait! I highly recommend Affordable Raingutters.

I asked for an estimate to tell me how much to clean out my gutters and put a guard on my gutters. He came out when I also had a paving company out to grade the area for pavers. He walked right threw that area and messed up the prepped area. My other problem is that they are very overpriced. He wanted $750 just to clean out my gutters! To put the leaf guard on my gutters, he was going to charge me $1600! He was supposed to be here at 1pm. He called almost an hour late and said he was stuck in traffic from a horrible accident and would get to me about 3. He didn't show up until 5:15. He never even apologized, just gave the excuses. He made me uncomfortable and I would not be confident having him work for me.

Update: 4 days later Dave went out of his way to win back my business. Today the crew came out and corrected everything except a small item, which they promised to do ASAP and I agreed to whenever they were in the area. The big leak looks like it is resolved. We will see for sure when it rains again. They were scheduled at a specific time today. They missed that time, but as soon as they knew it, they called me to let me know. I was very impressed with their professionalism in resolving the issues to my satisfaction. I am leaving the original review for context. Bottom line - they did finish it and make it right. I upped the grade from D to B, and professionalism from F to A. I believe professionalism is exemplified by admitting wrong and making it right, which is the ultimate goal anyway. These guys are very honorable in this manner. I do recommend them. From the initial contact, initial estimate, and initial installation everything was great. Except for miscommunication for the installation time (originally I expected 9 AM, they came at 2 PM), and one of the crew leaving his very expensive Milwaukee driver, the first installation was fine. There was a couple problems in that two corners, one with a drip, and the other missing over 50% of the water from the front roofline resulting in the same torrent we were trying to eliminate. I liked the work overall, and the courtesy and professional demeanor of the original installers, so when my wife asked to have that final line installed, I requested a re-quote to add. It was provided to me in a reasonably timely manner, although higher in price than I expected, based on original work, so I asked for a better price. He accommodated me with the stipulation that the timing be based on their presence near my home. The appointment was set for the second installation, but the installers never showed up. It was raining that day, and I understand calling the job on account of rain, but received no call. Having informed the company in no uncertain terms that this is unacceptable to not notify the clients, they apologized and rescheduled for today (Saturday, September 10, 2015). It is now almost 5:30 PM. They confirmed the installation for today by phone yesterday or the day before, but not a time. This is the second no-show without notice. Granted it is very hot today (~100 degrees), and if they are called on account of excessive heat, I can accept that. What I cannot tolerate is total incompetence by the management of this company to keep their clients informed. It seems abundantly clear that they abhor repeat business. IF they decide to do the remainder of the job, I am going to demand the current payment be reduced by 75% or I will not have it done. However they still need to correct the issues, or I will be demanding a full refund of the original $750 job, and if they refuse to provide it, I will be forced to take them to small claims court. In addition, I will have to contract with another company to repair their errors, and I will have to go after Affordable Raingutters for that cost as well. They do not respond to calls very well. They tend to be indignant with the client when they are 100% in the wrong and not showing up or calling to advise the conditions are not safe or healthy or whatever the heck the reason is. Note: the amount shown is for both jobs, the original plus the add-on, and that sum is rounded up to the thousand mark. C on quality due to totally missing the front corner, and missing part of the rear corner in addition to the incompetence factor - that is quality is not just the workmanship, but customer service as well. Personally, I am beginning to be sorry I even heard of this company, much less decided to do business with them in the first place. First job: ~ $750 paid Second job: $200 - work not executed, two missed appointments without notice.

Albeit several months have elapsed since service was performed, but I have wanted to write this review to outline my experience and overall feeling with this contractor. On the outset, things progressed normally with the estimator (Wayne Rake) coming to the house to make recommendations and bid the job. Wayne recommended a linier style for the gutter material which made good sense. He further indicated he would have his most experienced installer (Richard) for this particular gutter style performing the work which he noted on the job description. I was directed to call the main office to schedule the install which I did a day or so later. During this call, the scheduler was not aware of any instruction to have Richard do the install. Ultimately, my request for Richard was accommodated, but I felt I needed to be insistent which didn?t follow with what the estimator had recommended. The day of the install, Richard arrived with two other installers who both seemed a bit inexperienced. I had hesitations, but Richard insured he would oversee them properly. Unfortunately, this didn?t truly occur. I found myself being more of the overseer. For example, one of these individuals was about to fasten a crooked downspout when I intervened and recommended he use a level. He had to go find one before this and the other down spouts could be installed correctly. It was not until after the install when I was attaching Christmas Lights that several errors became very much apparent. There had been a rain a day or two before and there was a significant amount of standing water in two separate sections of the front gutter system. I laid a level in the gutters and found that there was either a negative slope or no slope at all. Gutters must have a slope to drain properly, a universal truism. The drip edge for the front porch section was unnecessarily notched in several places for placement of gutter hangers. Only three hangers were needed/used yet there were five notches made. This error does take away from the roof?s integrity per my roofer. Several locations along the front and back of house have the roof shingles ?bowing up? where gutter hangers were attached through the roof?s drip edge. I indicated to Richard I was going to install a rain-chain to the front porch section of gutter and asked that the downspout gutter hole be so placed to accommodate the attachment for the rain-chain. Unfortunately, the installer made the hole too close to the gutter end that the attachment cannot fit. My feeling is that this was a simple and straight forward job that turned-out poorly. I admit, I have not contacted this contractor about the noted issues for the simple reason I have no trust in their abilities to correct what should have been done right to begin with (i.e. gutters not sloped correctly? That is a hallmark for poor).

This is my first review on Angie's list. It was so bad that I had to leave a review. When the estimator came to our house, he sat in his car for 20 minutes watching my husband who was working in the garage. The estimator, I think his name was Wayne, didn't get out of the car or say anything to my husband. When I called him about an hour after he left, I asked him why he left without doing an estimate. At first he told us that he wasn't sure if my husband was the home owner...oh really? You didn't think the guy working in the garage was the homeowner?! Eventually, Wayne admitted that he didn't want to get out of the car because it was raining outside. Seriously?! A rain gutter estimator doesn't want to get out of his car because it's raining??? We gave him another chance and scheduled another appointment for him to come to our house. He arrived and gave us a quote that was over a thousand dollars more than the other estimates! No thank you! Stay away from this company. They don't want your business and are willing to lie to cover up the fact that they are too lazy to get out of there car to even do an estimate!
