Venetian Flooring Systems

It was wonderful. Eric, the salesperson was very personable and we met twice in my home and once in their showroom. He was very fast to reply to any messages I sent. They had a crew on site of 4-5 people to do the installation, always including a crew foreman. All of them were extremely nice and helpful with any questions and concerns I had. They moved my furniture out, they covered the kitchen appliances with plastic and sealed off the upstairs with plastic. They installed new 5" baseboards which they painted with the color I wanted. I provided the paint. They installed beautiful Santos Mahogany hard wood flooring. They moved my furniture back in and applied felt pads and sliders which I provided. They worked very hard long hours and were finished in 2 days, very long days. The foreman returned on the 3rd day for a short time to finish 1 last item.

Eric was very professional and low pressure as we took a little time to decide what flooring we wanted. Once the decision was made all of the demo and installation went very smoothly and according to schedule. Andrew and his crew were very professional and did an excellent job plus were very neat and polite while working around the house and left it very clean each day. The California Classic flooring is very beautiful and expertly installed in our home. We're very pleased with the results.

Eric the salesman was great with help picking out flooring and scheduling and Andrew the job foreman was polite and helpful. Our reason for not giving the company an "A" was the neatness and care of the actual workmen. Things like chipped, dented and paint from walls, dirt and grease on our walls that we had to clean. I know we are extra picky but workmen should not wash paintbrushes in customers copper sinks in guest bathroom when there is a laundry room sink nearby. We are happy with the product and they finished all in only 4 days. I would have preferred them to take an extra day and care more about my home.

I already had my hardwood floor chosen and was calling around for estimates. I spoke with Eric and he gave me a quote that was reasonable and very competitive to my other quotes. I visited his showroom to see some more products but mainly to get a feel for him. He is very busy but was very professional and seemed the most trust worthy. I liked what he offered and decided to go with Venetian flooring. When the time came for installation, his crew showed up early and finished everything in one day, including demolition, removing carpet, then installing wood flooring, baseboards and painting baseboards. Would highly recommend Venetian flooring for hardwood flooring and quick professional installation.

I am extremely pleased with Venetian?s installation of engineered hardwood flooring in my living room, dining room, downstairs bedroom, and three upstairs bedrooms. After Eric visited my home for an initial consultation and room measurements, my wife and I visited Venetian?s showroom which had a nice selection of hardwood and laminate flooring. Eric was very helpful in providing advice to help us decide what floor to install based on our taste and budget. After receiving a price for installation, I didn?t feel the need to shop for a better price because it was about what I expected to pay for a quality hardwood floor. My decision to hire Venetian was also influenced mainly by the excellent flooring installation that Venetian had done for my daughter several months ago, as well as the unanimously favorable Angie?s List reviews. Andrew and his installation crew labored for four days in removing my old carpet and baseboard, screwing down loose, previously squeaking subflooring, gluing down the new hardwood floors, and installing new 5-1/4? pre-painted baseboard. I was particularly impressed with how the installers skillfully butted diagonally cut hardwood against my 6? raised porcelain tile entry way without having to use quarter round to hide gaps, which were non-existent. They also moved large furniture pieces and protected other rooms from dust with plastic curtains. They worked efficiently and were courteous and respectful. Andrew was friendly and helpful in explaining the installation process and answering my questions as the work progressed. I appreciated that he was present the majority of the time to supervise the crew and also helped with the installation. He was also creative in cosmetically solving a few structural issues. After living with the floors for a few months now, I can highly recommend Venetian without reservation. They do excellent work!

Eric from Venetian Flooring was honest and straightforward. He said instead of installing new vinyl plank flooring through him, that my current engineered hardwood floor could be saved by refinishing it. He could've made $$ by installing new flooring for me, but opted to save me a lot of money instead. I requested an estimate from other flooring companies and no one even suggested that option, everyone opted to sell me new flooring. If I'm installing new flooring, I would definitely go with Venetian Flooring. Thanks again, Eric!

They completed the work quickly without sacrificing quality, they were friendly and courteous, and they did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. Furthermore, there was a short turnaround time between the estimate and the installation which was nice, and the company responded quickly to some minor issues which we appreciated as well.

They were okay, but then the guys that were working on the floors complained a little bit that they scratched the floors that they put in. I don't know. They were professional and very fast. However, some of the pieces that they put were dull. We already had some of the stairs preinstalled by the builder and when they were putting glue it kind of dulled the paint and so it stays that way. Overall, they were good. They said they needed 4 days but they did it in 2 1/2. They painted everything. It was very fast, professional. They were good.

They are very courteous. They showed up on time. The quality of the work was a very high quality. The pricing was really good as well. They finished everything in one day.

Venetian Flooring Systems is the type of company that every other company should strive to be. They are honest, upfront, realistic, professional, timely and hands down the best company that I have dealt with in all the years. Salesperson: Eric From the first time I met Eric, I knew I wanted to work with him. He is a class act and not pushy like other salespeople that I have dealt with in the past. Leaders: Andy and Martin While I didn't talk to them much, my wife told me that they were great and these guys don't mess around. They came probably an hour early everyday and finished our 2,500sq ft project within 2.5 days. Andy is pretty funny as well. They are like a fine tuned machine/robots and get the job done in a timely fashion, unlike other contractors who we have dealt with that can be lazy at times. Rest of team: Didn't also talk to them much, but these guys were all business while they were here and I was very impressed. To sum it all up, I do not write too many reviews, but when I do, they are either because I was very impressed or very disappointed and in this case I was VERY IMPRESSED. Thank you Venetian Flooring Systems for doing such a great job and making my wife happy, because she has been asking for hardwood floors for the past five years and I was happy that we could get them installed as well as work with such a reputable company. Anyone that works with these guys will not be disappointed, because while they might not be the cheapest, they are by far the best. They were $1,000 more expensive than the other company, but the other company was going to take 2 1/2 weeks to complete the job and I just didn't get a good vibe. Like they say: You get what you pay for!!!!

Great job from beginning to end. Eric come out and gave us a fair and competitive estimate. A month later as we requested he delivered the floors so they could acclimate to the environment of our home. Three days later the crew came out and demo the floor and started installing the stairway. Second and third day the finished the floors and installed baseboards. They removed all trash daily. Polished floors at the end of job. Perfect job "10". I could not find any mistakes or signs of poor craftsmanship. All the reviews you read are true. These guys are great.

They sent out a true professional. He came out with samples. He spent time explaining my options to me. He really knew how to handle the job. The work was more than excellent. They removed the carpet, did the prep work and finished the labor in a couple of hours. The work was really excellent. I have recommend them to others. They do quality work.

They did a really, really good job. I was really pleased. The workmanship was great - I have no complaints.

Our experience with them was really good. We talked to four different people and we got four estimates. Price wise I think he was second to lowest. I think one of the reasons we decided to go with him is because he has nothing but great reviews and I'm not sure if that's on Yelp or Angie's List or both. My wife does a lot of this research and she looks at lot of places. So I'm not sure where she saw all these good reviews but he had a lot of good reviews. They were very professional and did an awesome job. It really looks gorgeous. The only complaint that we have at all is there is one place in the floor where it's not completely bonded perfectly. You can't see it or anything but if you step on it you can hear it like crackle a little bit. Sometimes it's funny you step on it and then it's like two days before it gets loose enough where it will crackle. It's a pretty minor complaint. They did it in the amount of time they said they were going to do it. They kept the rest of the house really clean because they had to demo our ceramic tile that we had in half of the area that they were laying the wood. We got the wood in the family room, the office, the entry way, the laundry room, the bathroom and the hallway to the bath. So significant amount of area and they did a real good job. The price was very reasonable. There was a crew of them, like four guys who did it and they did including the demo which is always a pain. They kept the house real clean and they did it in 2 days, less than 2 days actually. So we have no complaints. They are real good. He was going to give you a discount if you pay cash but she likes those advantage miles on the credit card and we paid by credit card. We don't pay any interest so she decided the $100 off wasn't worth it she would rather have the miles. I'm pretty sure we put it on the credit card.

He was great, really professional and very attentive. Ultimately we went with the builders (brand new home) for the wood floors because we didn't want to rip anything out after it was placed. It probably would have been better quality and cheaper if we had gone with Eric. If we need any work in the future, we will go with him.

I would highly recommend them. I've had other people that we've referred them to.

Floors turned out gorgeous and the clean-up was immaculate. The first thing anybody says when they step into our home is how beautiful the floors are. Eric and his crew are very consistent and on-time. Job was quoted for 4 days but only took 3 days... We also had tiles installed by another company (Venetian only performs hardwood installation, otherwise we would have used them) and the tile company messed up and Venetian came out right away and fixed the other company's issue. They really understand customer care and went above and beyond our expectations for a company that was the first to install in our brand new home. They use extreme care and have a very reliable, consistent crew.

We called Eric on Tuesday, Nov. 6, hoping we would be able to get new flooring installed in our new condo before we were scheduled to move in, on Nov. 20. Eric met with us on Nov. 8, the day after we closed, and helped us make an informed choice on laminate vs. hardwood flooring, color, and type of installation. He then got on the phone and found a way to schedule our installation for the next Monday, Nov. 12. He was waiting in his truck when we arrived at the condo, about an hour before the crew's scheduled arrival, and by 5 p.m. that day we had beautiful new flooring and baseboards throughout our condo. They even went the extra mile and replaced the baseboard in our master bath and kitchen (which had tile flooring with a grouted in existing baseboard) so that the baseboards would be continuous througout. I would highly recommend Venetian Flooring Systems to anyone needing new flooring.

Over the last year, we have renovated almost every area of our condo (two bathrooms gutted and redone, recessed lighting in kitchen, new kitchen counter-tops, etc.). During this process, we've worked with a variety of contractors. Some experiences were horrible, others not-so-bad. VFS was outstanding--a great experience from start to finish. Here's how it went: 1. Called VFS. Live person picked up and within a couple of minutes, we had booked an appointment to have a representative come over. 2. Eric was our rep. His initial visit was about 20 minutes. Friendly and efficient. He had brought over many samples for me and my wife to look at. He answered all our questions and was not sales-ish at all. He was at our our home just long enough for us to pick the laminate we wanted and answer all our questions. From previously experience, I know some companies like to filibuster about how special their product is; I value my time, so I find that annoying. Before Eric left, we had agreed on an installation date! 3. Eric showed up early on the morning of the installation to get his ducks in a row. About an hour or two later, the workers showed up, moved the furniture and installed the flooring. Granted, we have a pretty small space, but they completed the installation of flooring in our living room and hallway in just one day. Awesome! The workers were efficient and polite and gave a solid effort at clean-up. Most importantly, the flooring and baseboards they installed look GREAT!! We hope to be moving into a bigger place in the next year. If our new home needs flooring, I will absolutely call VFS again to perform the work. VFS probably does not need yet another rave review, but Eric and his team deserve even more praise! My husband and I have been delighted every step of the process. Eric is professional and experienced/knowledgeable about his craft. He gave us a detailed quote and pointed out issues and challenges regarding our particular situation that other flooring contractors did not point out. We appreciated the forewarning (specifically, changes in floor level resulting from replacing thick brick tiles with engineered hardwood). As far as price, he was just slightly below another company that had been recommended to us and included new baseboards, but it was not price that sold us on VFS. I personally loved working with someone who was responsive via both phone and email, and it's not always easy to find contractors who are responsive via email! Eric also helped us pick out gorgeous white oak floors that would work well with having a toddler running around. I also loved that he called to confirm a few days before the work started AND that during the five days of work, he called us with updates periodically. His crew finished on time (even a few hours early!) and we are more than pleased with the results. Great attention to detail, too. Plus, I have to give them particular praise for the demolition work. Removing several (I think it was 4 or 5) TONS of brick flooring was probably more work than they imagined. Amazing that they were able to pull it off! Eric, Andy and the crew has done a fantastic job !!!! Selected them based on Angie List and Yelp reviews. We are so glad that we did,. Their price is very competitive and their service is just SUPERB !!!! They are courteous, prompt, thorough, attentive and very professional about their jobs.

Eric was very helpful and easy to work with as I described what I was looking for Venetian flooring to do. Eric made helpful suggestions and had plenty of samples for me to chose from. Eric explained that the stairs from my living room to my dining room would need to be custom made, since they are radius. He promised to have a proposal to me in four days, since he needed to work with a custom stair contractor to obtain pricing. Eric had the proposal to me as promised, and the price was fair for the work that needed to be done. Eric explained that my job would require a three step process ( demolition, installation of flooring and custom stairs, and staining of custom stairs. On the day of demolition, Eric and his crew discovered that my existing hardwood floor had been installed incorrectly with the wrong adhesive. Eric called to let me know that the demolition was going to take longer than expected ,since they were having trouble pulling the old floor up. Eric let me know my price would not change, even though my job would require more time and the installation of new plywood to level my sub floor. Needless to say I was shocked and very grateful I was dealing with such a customer focused company. On the day on installation, Eric and his crew were once again punctual and did an amazing job. They moved my furniture with great care, and installed my new floor with great precision. My husband and I are thrilled with the end product, and would definitely recommend Venetian Flooring to our friends and family.

The whole process went very well. Eric, his project manager Chris and the entire team did a great job. They had scheduled 4 days but were able to finish the entire project in 3 days. They were very efficient and professional and left the house as clean as possible. Our new floors are even more beautiful than we imagined. They really did a fantastic job and paid attention to every little detail. Eric came by on the first day early in the morning before his crew arrived and he also came by on the last day to make sure everything went well. We are so happy we went with Eric. We got several quotes and even so Venetian was not the lowest, we decided to go with Eric because we really felt he was a pro and we saw the reviews on Angie's List. We are very happy with our choice and our beautiful new floors. We highly recommend Venetian Flooring, they do quality work and it shows.
