Over the years, we've hired Terry Moving for the big moves and the little ones. House to house, of course, with stellar service every time – Mark is very responsive and the crews are always personable. We've also hired him for the "little" things like pianos and appliances. His team works efficiently and logically - which means doing it right and without wasting time or dollars. Only one example of that is when they were bringing in a new huge, built-in refrigerator. It wasn't obvious how to get it through the front door, to pivot around two corners, and line it up with the space in the cabinets without touching any walls or the tightly packed kitchen countertops. You wouldn't think that would take analysis until you watch someone plan it out and get it all done so nimbly. And for the new petite-grand piano, they cranked up their cleverness even another notch. I was amazed how quickly they worked and how reasonable the fee was. Before meeting Mark and his crew, we hired other movers thinking they were all the same. Now we know better and would never even consider another option.

They totally ripped me off for $250.00 They have no integrity and are completely unprofessional. I would not only not recommend them but I will tell anyone I can about what a terrible company this is.

They did a great job. They came out and brought 3 employees. They effectively got us up and moved out within the same day. They were processional and nothing was damaged. They took great care to make sure that everything was wrapped well. They brought extra wardrobe boxes for us too, that we were able to borrow. The quality of their service was excellent.

He offers wardrobe boxes at no charge. I had had about ten moving companies come to the house and most of them charge for those boxes but he does not. He also offers shrink wrapping as well and he explained all the precautions they take when moving a grand piano. The pianos have four legs and it's important that they're put back in the same places that they originally came from, and they number everything to make sure everything will get put back the same way. There's a lot of detail in their process.

I had packed up a little less than half of the house. They came out and started packing. It started out well but they kept having different people coming to pack. They broke my dryer. They busted up a display for an older model airplane with a baseball bat. They broke my grandfather's Louisville slugger. They urinated in bottles and left them. They packaged trash in boxes and moved it to our new home. They busted collectibles that we are still getting fixed.

After 18 months I had to arrange with another company to store my things as I was told that unless my things were out within 3 weeks my payment would be doubled. Bekins charged me almost the same amount that I had previously been paying. As my things were being brought out of Terry's unit I noticed that my antique desk was being stored under a wrought iron table. The desk was broken. Terry refused to pay for repairs and I had to take him to court. Although he lost, he still didn't pay and I had to go back to court a second time. He then agreed to pay on a monthly arrangement, but I was forced to employ a collection agency to get my money.

THE ACTUAL MOVE WAS A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. THE EMPLOYEES WERE HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, AND WORKED HARD. HOWEVER, FOLLOW UP ON DAMAGE HAS BEEN WEAK. STILL WORKING WITH COMPANY FOR RESOLUTION. DEPENDING ON RESOLUTION, UNSURE WHETHER WOULD RE-HIRE. COMPANY WAS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

THE ESTIMATOR WAS THOROUGH WITH HIS RECORDINGS; HOWEVER, THEY ARE VERY MANIPULATING WITH THEIR PRICING STRATEGY. FOR EXAMPLE, THEY WILL OVER ESTIMATE THE MAN HOURS AND LABOR REQUIRED, YET WILL NOT ISSUE A REFUND FOR THE HOURS OR LABOR THEY DID NOT UTILIZE. THE MOVERS WERE POLITE, PUNCTUAL & PRETTY EFFICIENT. ON THE OTHER HAND, THE OWNER WAS NOT PROFESSIONAL & DENIED THAT HIS PRICING STRATEGY WAS SET UP TO DISADVANTAGE THE CUSTOMER.
