 + 0 moreWe had an old dryer vent built into our house partially made with vinyl that was no longer up to code. Michael from Nuflo was able to make a house visit the same day we called. He discussed the options with us for addressing the problem and fixed the problem for a very reasonable price. Nice guy who gives good advice and is a pleasure to work with.

 + -1 moreChris arrived and started by suctioning out accumulated material from the dryer itself. Next he hooked up a vacuum to remove other material from the dryer duct. Then he went into the attic to access the end of the duct as it hooked up to the roof vent. There he discovered that whoever had installed the duct work previously had done it incorrectly causing the duct not to vent properly. He made some adjustments to the length of the duct so the air would flow as it should. I am not sure the average technician would have caught this. Good job Chris!

 + -1 moreChris from Nuflo arrived on time. He was very professional. Nuflo cleaned the dryer exhaust port and lint from surrounding area of the dryer. He also vacuumed up all the lint around the dryer. I have not had the dryer port cleaned for over 7 years since I moved into my condo. After discussing with friends at work about dryer fires in homes and seeing on the news a house destroyed by a dryer fire I figure it was time to do preventive maintenance. I'm glad I found the right company to do the job right. Pricing was fair and reasonable. I highly recommend Nuflo.

 + -1 moreCalled and was able to book service in about 10 days. I have a stackable unit so they had to schedule when 2 people could come out in case they needed to pull the whole thing out. Two guys arrived within the agreed schedule (they called when they were about 20 minutes away). They quickly determined that they wouldn't have to pull the whole unit out because there was a front access panel for the dryer vent. Anyway, one person was able to do the job which made the price a little cheaper. The job took about 45 minutes. He checked that the outside trap was fully opening and closing after the job was done. I was charged the amount quoted on the phone (for service not requiring pulling out unit).

 + 1 moreThese guys save live by cleaning and repairing dryer vents. Thats all they do and they do it very well. See what can happen when that lint accumulates and potentially catches fire. My hat is off to Mike and Zach for their knowledge and work.
Description of Work: Moved into a 23 year old house that never had dryer vent cleaned. They took out over 10lbs of lint. People shouldn't put a price for a fire waiting to happen. Zach cleaned ours not just by suction but a large chimney sweep device to knock out all the accumulated lint.,

 + 0 moreMichael arrived on time for our scheduled appointment and took a look at my vent and immediately knew what needed to be done. He was able to use a new part to make a tight and complete connection to alleviate the problem. I offered to pay him for the additional time he spent correcting the issue and he declined. I could not be more pleased with his professionalism and the end result he was able to achieve. I would highly recommend Michael and his company Nuflo for any of your dryer vent service needs.
Description of Work: Zach came out on 1/8/16 and cleaned the dryer vent and reconnected the dryer hose to the vent in the wall. I've had an ongoing issue with the hose staying connected over the years. I'm not the original owner of my house and believe the builder neglected to properly complete the dryer vent. Zach advised that if I had any issues with the hose staying connected to call back and Michael the owner would come out to take a look at it. About 10 days after the Zach's service call, I noticed lint on the laundry room floor. Upon inspection I saw that the dryer hose was not connected to the vent. I called and left a message and Michael called me back within 10 minutes. We setup and appointment for Wednesday, 1/20 so he could assess the situation and make the necessary repairs.
