Description of Work: Michael came out to give us a quote. He was professional and personable, and actually fixed a couple of small things as we went around the house looking at our small jobs. We were impressed and set a date for him to come and do the work, but he never showed up and was unreachable after that.

Description of Work: He came and did an estimate for about an hour. The job included stucco repair, shelf hanging, and blind hanging.

 + -1 moreA date was set for Mike to come to my home to give me an estimate. (8/07/2009) He called later & said he was sorry but he was unable to make that date but would come the following day (Saturday) to see about the job. He came on time. He was very knowledgeable. A friendly and likable man. Gave me a fair estimate & said he would call the following week to schedule a date to do the work. I tried to give him a deposit (10%) & he declined it. While he was here, he did a small job that I told him I would like done sometime in the future. No charge!! I really appreciated his work ethic. That was 2 weeks ago and I haven't heard from him since. If he had some problem in his scheduling, I would have appreciated a call to tell me that he would be delayed. The job could have been done at anytime. It was not critical. I now have called another handyman (who came the same day) and he completed the job beautifully. And for the same price. I don't want to downgrade Mike's ability. He's probably very good at what he does. I just wish he had been more responsible in his scheduling.
Description of Work: I needed to have the small, protective shed-like covering for my outside hot water tank repaired and refastened to the wall so mice could not come in and nest (as they have done the past)...Mike was honest and said it did not require complete rebuilding, but merely strengthening existing walls & refastening. He gave a fair estimate.

 + -1 moreA very professional job by someone who knew enough to keep his customers bill to a minimum.
Description of Work: I had a leak in an upstairs bathroom that had leaked to the downstairs. Mike came our within an hour and did a full inspection and quickly found a leaky pipe. He stated his usual charge to supply the parts and his labor charge would be $75.00. When he went to take the pipe off he found it was merely loose and fixed the connection and lowered the charge to $45.00. Actually, when I mentioned I usually do this work myself he offered to just leave it to me to do and not charge me anything. I was so impressed by this and the fact he had already did some investigation work and located the problem that I gave him the job . It was the best $45.00 I ever spent.

The quality of his work is beyond compare and his integrity is high. You will not be sorry if he does a job for you!! He does an excellent job from start to finish.
Description of Work: I recently had some plumbing work done which left the walls in my family room in need of repair. Mr. Evans repaired the drywall, textured it, painted the walls including the trim with three different colors of paint.
