+ -1 moreChris and his team promptly arrived at 7:00 a.m. (when Chris said they would) and did the job. Chris helped us with the permit process and was there for us every step of the way. They were polite to our somewhat nosy neighbors who kept asking them questions (we just moved in, and people are curious). They interacted well with the city inspector. I thought their pricing was more than fair, and they cleaned up after themselves. In the future, we're going to be doing some more projects, and we're going to ask them to do the work. In other words, I found a plumber for life!
Description of Work: After a series of unfortunate events, I called Chris Mack at 8:45 p.m. on Dec. 30th, begging for help (we didn't have heat or hot water for 5 days, and the other plumber we had used couldn't diagnose the problem correctly). He called back within 5 minutes and came out the next day. Our main gas line needed replacing, and Chris and his team came out on the 2nd. They replaced the whole line, making sure that everything was up to code.

+ -1 moreMy master water valve failed and won't turn the water back on. This was after 7 pm. I called Chris. He was very friendly and accommodating to my situation. Came over right away, replaced my valve in about 30 minutes. Since he did not have the part to replace my spigot at the same time, Chris came back the next day while I was at work to finish the job. Great service. Nicest guy. I would highly recommend Mack Family Plumbing to anyone needing plumbing service.
Description of Work: Replaced my main water valve and outdoor spigot.

+ -1 moreBoth father and son worked together on this project, which was a bit complex and two years later everything works perfectly. I felt it was very important to have the project signed off by the city since we had a large gas line installed to accomodate the new tankless water heater. Everything checked out perfectly with the inspector. Was a job well done at a fair price.

Description of Work: This company is like the companies I remember.. They care and its not about the price and money. Chris came to my home, and i had leak under my sink. I had two other companies come out and charge me to fix the problem. They put a bandaid on the problem and the kept chargin me for the problem. Two more visits and the same situation. When Chris showed up he told me I could do what the other guys did, but it wont solve the problem. He put new piping in and I started to get nervous, I figured oh no .. another big bill... I was completely shocked to learn it was cheaper and not once did it leak. He put everythiing back and cleaned up making it look better than it was.(.i did pay for my own materials.. which was fair..but it was pennies compared to the other guys) I have brand new piping system,..... NOT once did it leak.. I called him back to to install a new water heater... I felt so sure I had met the right company to trust... i knew I was in the best hands. This company has the intregity and honor I was looking for years... I will install a new kitchen island with gas..............and I tell you what I would only use CHRIS...............a true professional.

+ -1 moreChris did trouble shooting on my 5 year + old Noritz tankless water heater which had stopped heating water as of Sunday 3/31/2013 in the afternoon. After spending time figuring out the problem, he provided an estimate for the fix, and took care of the problem, including picking up the part. He was very polite, not pushy, but very thorough in his work. The motto of his company is 'we treat you like family' and that's what I felt he did. He was not there to rip us off, and he did a great job of getting our problem fixed. We highly recommend Chris who has alot of expertise in tankless water heater maintenance (all brands).
Description of Work: Tankless water heater repair. Troubleshooting why water was not heating, and isolating it to ignition component. Replaced faulty component with new one from Noritz and problem was resolved.
