The company called me back quickly after I submitted the job. I was told the fee was $45 and after I mentioned our that our machines are stacked they added $20. Sonny was prompt and my husband explained what had happened, what he had replaced, and then showed the error codes. After which, Sonny went on a 20 minute speech about how machines aren’t made like they used to be and that we needed to scrap our machine. He asked for his service fee. He had only touched the inside tumbler. I believe the fair thing would have been to charge $45, as he never had to move the dryer off the washer or even move the machines out of their alcove. He was adamant his fee was $65 after only giving a lecture about needing a different machine.
Description of Work: We needed an electronic diagnostic run on our washing machine. My husband had already changed parts and found error codes.
