Brandon (Bowen) was our technician and did an evaulation of our heating/air conditioning system, educated us on our current system and it's issues, and with our approval of associated costs, proceeded to fix all the issues. All this was done at a reasonable cost and we were back in our cool, comfortable surroundings within 2 hours. I had to laugh when I told Brandon he overwhelmed me with his brilliance as he explained the operation of an air conditioning system and he most definitely has a passion for his work. BIG thanks to Angie's List and to Dynamic Air Services. I'd recommend this company and especially Brandon to anyone in need of AC services.

We hired dynamic air in 2015 to replace a duct board coil that had corroded and was leaking. Quote was for $1400. They did good work. Recently, we asked for a quote for our other AC unit that had the same problem. Quote was $2600 this time. When I asked for an explanation, I was told that the price of R22 refrigerant had gone up considerably as well as labor costs. I ended up getting two other quotes, one for $2200 and another for $1850. What is interesting is that neither lower quote involved R22 refrigerant ? I wont be using Dynamic Air in the future.

Hi [Member Name Removed], Im sorry you were not happy with our all enclusive price we gave you. Any time you replace a major componenet like an indoor coil you will need to add refrigerant. You stated your other proposals did not include refrigerant and that could be the differance. R22 Refrigerant will no longer be manufactured in 17 months. This is causing the price of R22 refrigerant to sky rocket. Our fixed pricing means we include every thing and dont ask for anyhting addiditonal after we have started work. We work very hard to be transpartent and fair. Im sorry you were not happy with our all enclusive quarenteed price but these quotes are not apples to apples in comparison. Dynamic Air is outstanding in every way. The team was fantastic, and the installation went smoothly. Supervisor Eric, Emilio and Oscar were all pleasant, helpful, informative, and punctual, and they left my house neat and clean at the end of each day. After the system was installed, Emilio and Oscar even came back the next day to improve the appearance of the ceiling surrounding two vents which had to be enlarged in order to get the new system into the attic. I love the system they recommended and installed. It's very quiet, heats the whole house evenly, and the price was very reasonable. Office personnel Bill and Kelly also were pleasant and very helpful in dealing with my insurance company. All in all Dynamic Air is an excellent company. They maintained my old system for the last two years and I certainly will continue to use them for the new one! I have recommended them to friends and most definitely will continue to do so. Thank you Eric, Emilio, Oscar, Bill and Kelly!

This was our first experience with Dynamic Air Service. It went very well. Erik G. explained everything to us and we never got the sense that he was trying to sell us something we didn't need or want. We did decide to purchase the yearly maintenance membership with is included in the price of the service call.
Description of Work: This was a furnace service call for maintenance. Our twelve year old furnace was examined and worn parts were replaced.

After getting multiple bids for air conditioning to be installed and new duct work out in at our house, I found that dynamic air service were extremely professional and offered a very competitive price. The guys who did the installation were extremely polite, super considerate in working around my family, keeping the place clean and keeping noise to a minimum. In the end we’re extremely happy with the work they did and would recommend them to any of our friends.

I did not meet him at property, it was handled remotely with tenant present. Ethan was professional, he called me prior to arrival, after diagnostic to discuss what he found and again upon completion of his work. He was able to arrive earlier then scheduled appointment. I never had any problem with my AC, I just want to upgrade it but the guy said one part of the AC is not working properly. I would say that the guy claimed capacitor is bad. So he sent a technician to fix it. I used another company to take a look at it or and they said that the first company installed the wrong capacitor. So I contacted this company Dynamic Air Services to compensate me for what they've done but they are refusing.

when the customer originally contacted us he wanted a quote to replace his upstairs system as it was not running properly. During our initial visit we went over many options with the customer as he was interested in saving every bit of money that he could. Instead of replacing his system during peak season when prices are the highest we gave him the option of doing minor repairs to the system to get him through the summer so that he could get his replacement done during the off season when pricing is cheaper. We arranged with him to have at Technician come out and do what was found to get the system up and running so that we could buy some time. At that time we did let him know his condenser fan motor was failing but he did not want to replace it as it was running at that time. He was very well aware of the age and condition of his system and knew we were doing “band aid” repairs to try and buy some time before having to change the system out. We even told him that when the time came we would credit all repairs made towards the replacement cost. We completed our repairs and got the system up and running as good as it could considering its age and lack of maintenance its whole life. A couple weeks later the customer called us stating the unit wasn’t running correctly, we sent a technician out after hours and at no cost to the customer. We discovered that the 15+ year old condenser fan motor had failed. We offered to replace it for him (approx. cost $400) we also let him know that this would also be credited towards the replacement cost. At this point the customer became agitated and began yelling at my technician stating we sabotaged his unit and were trying to take advantage of him. If that was our intent why would be offering a credit of all repairs since it would be time and money that we are out at no ultimate cost to customer. He was so irate and irrational our technician was instructed to leave the premises. Shortly after we received a call from this customer threatening us with legal action as well as negative reviews if we didn’t refund him all money as well as cover the cost of his $800 fan motor invoice (keep in mind our quote for a motor was only $400). We tried to come to resolution with the customer but he was only interested in threatening us with legal action and posting negative reviews about us unless we gave him $1500. The total work we have done for this customer is as follows Diagnose upstairs system$79 Diagnose downstairs system $79 4lbs of r-22 added (between both systems) $383.80 Capacitor replacement $148.71 (upstairs system) All of these repairs were made and completed. The second contractor told the customer it was his opinion that the 5MFD capacitor instead of a 7.5 capacitor could have been the reason why the fan motor failed, we advised the customer that the fan motor was failing to drawing excessive amperage on our initial visit and he declined changing it out even when we came back the second time we advised him that the motor needed to be changed out and he declined again only to have another contractor come out and charge him twice the price we were to change the motor.

We're in the midst of a heat wave and figured it would take forever to get someone out to look at it. Much to our surprise, when we called Dynamic Air and spoke with Kelly (very kind and courteous), she was able to send someone out the following day between 12 and 4. At 12:34 the following day, they were here. Kevin and his partner were professional, courteous and thorough. We were expecting a HUGE bill for their services but we were happily surprised. For the amount of time they were here and the amount of things they checked, the bill was very reasonable. Again, I have to stress how professional and knowledgeable BOTH these young men were. I have had several minor problems with the A/C over the years and was always unhappy with the service I received (not to mention the high cost). I feel that Dynamic Air Services are lucky to have Kevin and his partner (sorry, I forgot his name) on staff. We will, without a doubt, hire them again in the future.

I called several A/C service companies, none could come out for 3-4 days. Dynamic Air Services was able to come out the next day. Kevin was very friendly and professional (even though he had been working all day in the heat, I was his last stop.) He was very thorough, and got my A/C working perfectly. I also asked Kevin some questions about my A/C at home, he was able to give me some ideas about replacing my unit at home. I will definitely be calling Dynamic Air when the time comes to replace or repair my A/C again.

Got a weekend appt 1st thing sat morning. Kevin was prompt and courteous found a part had failed for the blower motor. He was able to replace the part, it was in his truck, and then did a long overdue ( my fault ) inspection and maintenance. Topped off the coolant and we are chilly at the homestead again. PS.. my cats liked Kevin too.

At the first visit the technician said it was the thermostat. I asked if he was sure. He said yes. Paid $500, received $150 rebate and it didn't do the trick. Had another technician come out to see what else it could be. He said it was likely another part. I paid just short of $500. It didn't do the trick. The same technician came back, suggested a different fix that cost me $400. It worked this time. Nice guys. Finally got it fixed. I know these things are not always exact but all said I'd take my chances next time with someone else. Beyond the warranty period of course.

I used their service two years ago to find out why my furnace was blowing out cold air. I purchased $45 Angie Special of furnace inspection and cleaning and was very satisfied. Brian, the owner, found that a plug on the interior panel had come loose, thus the reason for the cold air. There was no additional charge. Today, for a $69 Angie Special, Erik inspected the furnace, replaced the filter and installed a battery operated carbon dioxide detector. He said my furnace was in great shape and wasn't dirty enough for cleaning. He was polite and efficient. I certainly would use this company again.

This was an awful experience. I called to make an appointment for a simple A/C maintenance and diagnostic check and was quoted $79 for each A/C unit before the Angie's List 10% discount. They also told me they'd include several sizes of air filters on their van so we'd be covered there, since I didn't know what sizes we had. I'm still amazed they managed to screw things up so badly: 1. On the day of the appointment Erik called and wanted to come out a few hours early. I told him I couldn't do that and he then said he'd be at our house at 1:00. I arrive home at 12:45 and then proceed to wait for two hours. No update from him the entire time until I called and left a voicemail politely pointing out that he said he would be at our house at 1 and to ask if he'd be able to make it. After a while he called back and said it would take another half hour to get to our house. 2. He finally arrives. No apology or acknowledgment of the fact that he had kept me waiting for hours, which he knew I was annoyed about when I talked to him earlier. 3. He leaves without replacing the air filters, which was supposed to be included with the maintenance service (this is what I was told and it's right on their webpage). 4. He charges us $79 total for each unit (we have two). No Angie's List discount. 5. When I discover all this I'm forced to call him and ask where the new air filters are and why there's no discount. He promises he'll talk to his boss tomorrow about the filters and drop off new ones. We never hear from them again about this. 6. The next morning my husband calls to check their quote on A/C maintenance and diagnostic, and purposely doesn't mention Angie's List. He's quoted $79. I then call the office to ask about the discount. Kelly then proceeds to tell me that price is actually $89 and that the $79 is with the discount! I tell her that no, my husband just confirmed the price is $79 and also that 10% off $89 is not $79. She continues to argue with me, lying about various details that I easily refute. She then promises to have the owner call me. 7. I wait. No call from the owner all day. I finally call back at the end of the day and am transferred to Brian's office, which turns out to be his voicemail. I leave a message and he calls back. I start to describe the situation to him and he also starts arguing with me, saying that they still came out within their window. I tell him that doesn't apply because Erik told me he would be there at a specific time. He then starts getting nasty, saying he doesn't like the way I'm speaking to him or his employees (you mean, calling them out on their repeated lies?) and brags about how they keep recordings of all their phone calls (great, so you have recordings of all their lies!). He then said he would refund all my money, which he did. That was then end of my interaction with them. In short, they made a complete mess of a simple customer service issue. I gave them repeated opportunities to salvage the situation and they just kept doubling down, arguing and lying. The only reason I'm not giving them an F is because they refunded our money. I would not even have bothered writing this review if Brian had simply apologized for his employees' mistakes. Truly unprofessional and dishonest behavior. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I was pleased with the initial visit. I found Bill to be professional and honest, whereas we had been told by another company we need a new compressor. He told me there was nothing wrong with ours and still had good life. They were due to come in the fall for my 'winter' maintence. I hadn't received a postcard, email etc, so I placed a call to them and they came out in November 23,2015. My 'spring' maintence for the hot summer months should have been scheduled in April or May, again I received no notification. I had completely forgot about it until this past weekend. I called this morning around 9:30 and spoke to Kelly and explained I was pretty sure I was due for a maintenance call under my contract. Of course with the extremely high tempatures these last few days, they were extremely busy. She asked if she could call me back so she could look into and get it straightened out. By 4:45 I hadn't received a return call (in the meantime I looked at my paperwork and determined I was indeed due for a service I had prepaid. I asked why I had not been contacted and was told, 'I should have received an email or something and it was not set up correctly'. I have no idea what that means. They had no problem sending me an email to invoice me. An appointment was scheduled for Monday, July 18th. I am not pleased that I prepaid for these two visits and in both instances I had to call and remind them. It states right on the paperwork 'Dynamic Services will call you and schedule your Bi Annual Mainenance every Spring and Fall'. From my perception had I not called, I would have paid for a service I never received.
Description of Work: Bill (identified himself as one of the owners) came out last year 3/25/15, at my request to access our condenser. He advised our condenser was still good and no need to replace. At that time I signed up for a maintenance contract for them to come out 2x a year.

Bill Kean did a wonderful job of providing us with many options for controlling the humidity in a home at the beach. The house is closed up for long periods of time and we started to experience high humidity levels in the home. While we did not purchase all of the items he suggested, we already are seeing a marked difference in the humidity levels in the home with the above installed items. His installers were very nice and professional, very careful with our home. Bill has been great answering any questions I have in a timely matter.
