After calling multiple mobile home companies to have my home leveled, many of which do not even return my phone call. I made an appointment with Quality Mobile Home Services Incorporated and I am so glad I did. The representative turned out to be the owner, dominique. He took multiple pictures of the mobile home which took him about an hour to obtain. This man is very honest, he showed me the pictures along with the book of codes of what needed to be done. At no time did I doubt him. He gave me a 25% discount. And he also gave me various tiers of service to meet my budget. Circumstances came up that I had to cancel the leveling. I called him directly and he said no problem that I would not be charged anything. I would recommend this company again and again. Thank you Dominic for your fantastic service!

WASTE OF TIME and MONEY!!! Spent thousands for foundation mobile bracing requirements that was mandated in CA. Now I want on-site inspection and left 4 voicemails and even talked to sales admin. Cynthia told me they are 4 months behind schedule and ARE NOT not talking or making any appointments. She hung up on me and wouldn't answer future phone calls or put me in someone's voicemail. Their sales rep lied to me regarding the guarantees on tiling, paintings, bathroom and kitchen remodels. DO USE THIS COMPANY!!

TERRIBLE! DISGUSTING, UNPROFESSIONAL, ETC., AND THIS WAS ONLY AN ESTIMATE! Property Damage to exterior Aluminum Siding, across the top of two 4' X 8' sheets. Although this happened back on May 03, 2016, everyday I am reminded how this company treated me. I will never get over this. It haunts all the time, being treated, like I was. Before my cancer, in 2005, I previously had been in the Painting and Decorating business for many years, I've worked for designers, decorators, worked new construction, remodels, tract homes, have tons of references, so I knew how to treat the public, I had to, for good business, and to keep me busy. Sadly, this can not be said for them, given my poor experience. We all have had bad days, but this lasted for many, many, MONTHS! Most of 2016, was primarily consumed not only, by the property damage aspect, which was bad enough, but add all the undue emotional, and mental distress, severe anxiety, waiting everyday for them to return calls, emails, or letters, but NOTHING AT ALL! A FREAK-IN' NIGHTMARE!!!!! SHAME ON THEM FOR PUTTING ME THROUGH THIS. To be mildly fair, they did offer to return to repair, but at this point, months later, I did not trust them, did not believe anything they would say, or would trust them to even to a professional job. That is why, I did not want 'Quality' back, I suffered enough by them. I only wanted Quality to pay for the damages, that Quality's estimator had caused, plain and simple. Two estimates, one was Quality, and another, a competitor, who told me he used to work with Quality, his was the highest, but begrudgingly, and with much disappointment, noting the two, agreed to the lesser amount of the estimates. Everyone told me I needed to file a Civil Small Claims Action, against 'Quality' and all parties involved, for the property damage that occurred. If I can discourage, dismay prospective, and potential naive clients, to save them, from the nightmarish year that I had, maybe that would be satisfaction enough. :-) Problems? Besides complaining to the appropriate agencies, if there was a contract or not, and/or any property damage occurred, LIKE MINE, and you've waited beyond a reasonable time, LIKE ME, then you need to file a civil small claims action/property damage against whomever caused it, and anyone who participated. Also, contact L.A.'s NBC and CBS, local networks, for their consumer help folks, helping to expose the "bad Apples" here in Southern California. There are many reputable roofing companies, but if you are looking for one with extreme Professionalism, who is above board, has scruples, has common sense, decency, honesty, integrity, and will show up when they say they will show up, not be 1-1/2 hrs LATE, for an estimate, and based only on my humble opinion, and experience, YOU WOULD BE VERY WISE TO STAY CLEAR OF THIS COMPANY. I would also take their positive reviews lightly, who knows who exactly, is writing these reviews. Remember, the time limit for filing property damage claims can last up for three years in California. There are two sides to every story, and this is mine. I'm sure the owner will try to discredit me, to protect his business, I get it, but as the owner, he should have tried to accommodate me a lot SOONER, at the very least, to call to apologize, to set a date to fix the damage, as soon as this happened, and not let it go, for as long as he did. The owner never experienced what I went through, never talked with him, he has not personally seen the damage, only photos. So, whatever he has to say, I am not interested, not listening, Your company had a chance, to do the right thing, at the onset, but chose to ignore me, because this was only an estimate, and not a $10K roof project, so you just couldn't be bothered. I would never, trust this company, to perform any work for me, or for my friends, or family!...EVER! If you are smart, you would do the same. I am glad now, that I never hired them to actually do any work. Your experience may be a wondrous one, who knows. I am commenting only on mine.

After some research into a few things I found out I was lied to. I was severely overcharged. I was blatantly lied to my face, and had Scare Tactics used against me, and overly taken advantage of by this company. They didn't know it then but, about a week after the job I had called another company like theirs (let's just call them, say, Hal'sTar Mobile Home Construction) to come out and give me an estimate and tell me what my house needed (I wanted to make sure 100% that this company's readings/findings would match with what Quality had recommended) and I didn't mention anything about having just done work or a further step 2 down the road ... let's just say that after meeting with a representative from this other company and getting his report with pictures: I was gutted, sickened, relieved, and angry all at the same time... 1) the pads they removed the installation day they appear to be just fine to me, no cracks none were rotting away no evidence of termite damage, keep in mind. 2) I was NOT/NEVER WAS breaking the law with the material I had down there. I wasn't up to code but I was not breaking the law. Nor was my house falling, splitting apart 3) they only replaced 40 pads not 48 like they said they were going to do all the ones down the middle were left. 4) the air duct was never replaced just taped. There was no evidence of animal damage just one long perfect slit down the middle covered up by a couple pieces of masking tape. I saw the pictures in this is obviously done buy a box cutter or razor blade 5) that even though it wasn't absolutely necessary according to the law that doing half of the tops or 20 instead of 40 of them would be sufficient. 6) I did have a gas shut off valve on my meter I just didn't have the automatic one so I could shut the gas off if I needed to after an earthquake 7) and this one is the real kicker.... EVEN if I had decided to do all 40 tops, and all 48 pads (8 in middle are different and don't have those tops to grab onto the home) AND relevel. AND the flex ducting (if I had needed it and it just hadn't been sliced) AND went for the EQ gas valve. That they said I could have had all done, along with a roof winter maintenance, ALL OF IT +roof work, not for 11000, not 9700, not even 8500, but could've all been done for pretty much for the 4500 I paid for 40 pads and a relevel, $4850 to be exact.... Needless to say I had this other company to do 28 of my locking Jacks (70%), 3 lateral support marriage clamps, the automatic earthquake gas shut off valve (because it did sound like a good idea in case I wasn't home) and that roof maintenance, ALL for $1850. Far Cry from the 4000 + that quality had me lined up for.... The only thing "quality" about Quality Mobile is their Quality in scamming people, lying to people's faces, using scare tactics and misinformation I was also shown that they had no workers comp or the proper licensing when they worked on my house I will be following up with this and this terrible company and the scoundrel lying conniving people that they employed as pushy and untruthful salesman.. BUYER BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.... at all costs, STAY AWAY Quality scum at best
Description of Work: Foundation work below my home. I was told my wood pads were rotted, cracked, and/or termites had damaged and needed to replace all 48 of them before the steel towers rusted away or my roof "split apart" and would then need a $12,000 roof (I didn't want that to happen obviously, to relevel my home, and to replace my air-condition/heating Flex ducting underneath because animals had destroyed... After, the salesman came back inside he did show me how one half of the house was getting air flow and the other side wasn't at all using a candleflame. I had never noticed before but he was right one side blew fine, one side, nothing. That all the tops to my 48 towers needed replacement because I was breaking the law, and was in violation of a code 25 or 1994 title prop law and I could get a fine of $2500.. Also that I had no gas shut off valve so if bug earthquake hit my house would be in danger of burning down.. he told me would cost $11,700 to fix everything.. with military discount would normally be $9360 but since I was in such dire straights, he would pull some strings and do it for "ONLY" $8,500... I could no way afford the $8,500 so after going back and forth with him about what was most important and affordable for me I decided to go with just the pads and the air conditioner duct and that we would do the other parts down the road after I saved up. Signed up for the relevel and the 48 pads with the air conditioner flex duct (since it was getting cold and my bedroom is on the side that didn't have air flow) for $4500... he did say that he would give me the discounted price (initial total) next time on the second part, for only $4000. And "the crew" came 2 days later arrived about 10am to drop off black pads and just 1 guy... I was amazed, he had it all done, removed, cleaned & sealed up by 4:00... He was a hard worker (and from then on as well as earlier I'll come to find out) that's where the story goes south)

Raymond Mullan came to my home. He went under my house to see what the problems were and what needed to be done to fix them. When we sat down to discuss his findings, he showed me some pictures on his phone of rusted out piers. In hindsight, I should have given him my phone to take pictures with. The pictures he showed me could have been from anywhere. There was no indication that the rusted piers were actually under my house. But, I digress. He told me that there were a total of 24 PIERS under my house, some of them rusted. However, none of them had pads under them, and the pads, as well as lock tops, are now required per "SB750 specs (or something like that)" for mobile homes. The cost for a pier, a lifetime pad and a lock top, installed, was between $90-$110 each. I couldn't just buy the pads and lock tops. Everything came together. So, he gave me the $90 price for 24 piers, which came up to $2160. The problem came after I obtained estimates from three different companies. Each company told me that I had a different number of piers under my house: 48, 24 and 12. BIG difference, especially when you are talking about $100 for each pier. I called back the company that had told me I had 12 and asked if he could explain the difference. Yes, the difference was that the other companies were trying to overcharge me for products I did not need, or even have room for under my home. He came back out, took MY PHONE under my house and took pictures and video to show me that I only have two I-Beams, and that there are six piers under each one, for a total of TWELVE. Raymond was trying to sell me TWICE AS MUCH; actually, CHARGE me TWICE AS MUCH, because there is not enough room under there for twice as many.. This company and/or its' employees are deplorable, dishonest, untrustworthy, disgraceful, reprehensible, and many other adjectives. I think I have made my feelings abundantly clear. They are SCAM ARTISTS! They try to sell you more products than you actually need and it sickens me to think about how many people don't check, or get at least two estimates, and then this company RIPS YOU OFF!
Description of Work: BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!! I was told I had some rusted out piers under my modular home. As a disabled woman, I cannot go under my home myself, I relied on supposedly "reputable" companies from Angie's List to go under there, inspect and determine repairs needed, and provide me with a detailed proposal of work and an estimate of the total cost.

Description of Work: Really liked the sales rep EZ. He was professional, experienced in the repair I needed and went out of his way to accommodate my time frame for appointments. I was however disappointed in the quality of the workmanship of the roof repair I contracted and obtained a $3,200 loan for. In addition to the roof repair I was going to have a new water heater installed. We discovered when they removed the old one that my pipes are corroded and need to be replaced. That will have to be done after the roof repair loan is paid for. I asked them to reinstall the old water heater until I can afford to get the re-pipe done before a new water heater can be installed. They reinstalled the old water heater. Yea! But two days later when my son was checking out the water heater, and the condition of the pipes when we noticed the copper overflow pipe was missing. Apparently they kept it and did not re-install the it when putting the old water heater back in. I called EZ and told him the pipe was missing. He said he would check into it and call me back. I never heard another word. I'm disappointed they kept the copper pipe and I now have no overflow pipe. If the old water heater overflows I will have floor damage because there is no overflow piping.
