PACIFIC GARAGE DOORS

The company called me on Monday morning (a message had been left with them on Sunday night from my home warranty service company) and said that a technician could be at my house in 20 minutes. He arrived as scheduled and looked at the door spring. He did not have a spring that fit the house in stock since it was a custom spring that was included by the home builder. He gave me the option of installing 2 slightly smaller springs for an additional $105 which he said would allow the garage door to be opened in case of failure of one spring. If not, he said he could have a replacement spring available in 24-48 hours. I opted to wait. This took about 10 minutes and he left. I received another call on Wednesday morning stating that the technician could be at my house immediately to install the spring. I left work to meet him at the house. He installed the spring and readjusted the door opening height. He also gave me cleaning, maintenance and safety advice about the garage door opener. The installation took about 40 minutes to complete. I paid a co-pay of $55 for a service that would have cost about $190-200.
