Description of Work: Mark and his partner cleaned out the fireplace, removed old cement logs, cleaned out the chimney, and added a spark arrester so we can now burn real wood. He was prompt, his work was neat and clean, and professional. Glad we could have him help us out.

I appreciated that he was willing to check it out for me - but could not assist due to the scope of the work. I appreciated his honesty and professionalism. He even arrived early - which worked for me.

+ -1 moreI called Mr. Howard based upon Angie's List listing. I told him we had earthquake damage to our chimney and needed an inspection. I offered to send him photos but he declined. He set up an immediate appointment saying he needed to see the damage first hand. He was very prompt and personable but after his rooftop inspection explained that the chimney needed to be demolished and that the work needed was beyond the scope of his licensing. He did move bricks from the chimney that were in danger of falling on the driveway below and did not charge us anything to do so. I appreciated Mr. Howard's honesty.

+ 0 moreMark Howard came out to clean our chimney and install a a set of gas logs in our wood fireplace. He was responsive by phone, provided a quote, arrived on-time, very professional, answered all questions, provided parts at no charge, honored his quote, cleaned up and provided us with a beautiful looking fireplace. The price included the chimney cleaning. He was very nice and I'd recommend him for similar jobs. Very pleased with his work.
Description of Work: Chimney cleaning and inserting a set of gas logs into a wood burning fireplace, connecting up the gas and making it functional.
