They were excellent. They just knew their stuff while the other folks who we had do it took it on without really knowing what they were doing. Originally, we were going to go with Saddleback but the other contractor kind of persuaded us to go with them and said that they would be able to do a better job. And when they were midway through the stairs, Saddleback had to come in because the contractor started getting worried about what were in compliance with the legal code. They had done the railings and things like that and Saddleback came in and actually saved the day and finished the railings because the other contractor who was working on the entire house was too busy to get to it because they needed to get to another customer. So, I highly highly recommend Saddleback for their good ethics and good integrity. The owner was just amazing. They were the true deal. They knew what they were doing and they were incredibly professional. The only thing that we regret was not having them to do it from the start. Their price was also incredibly reasonable and comparative. They knew the legal aspects to the staircase as well and what was structurally going to work. They were not just trying to get the job done but there was the safety element too. We would absolutely use them again in the future if we need to.
