Description of Work: We called twice to book an appt and the owner said he had someone off dick and someone on Vacation. They never called back at all, and we still need a electrician . Pretty bad customer service. And this was the top rated company.

Description of Work: Pete came out to my house and gave me an estimate for installing coach lights on my garage and a new front porch light (all of which I purchased on my own), and a motion light on my garage (which he provided). He also installed a timer so that all of the front lights were in sync with my pilaster lights and go on at the same time each evening. The technicians who actually did the work were very pleasant and professional. When the motion light wasn't working properly they came out again right away to fix it. The cost seemed high to me at first, but I guess you get what you pay for and I would hire them again for my electrical needs.

Description of Work: Installed one ceiling fan, had to make hole in ceiling to install, go into attic and slice into an existing power line. Install light switch which only turns fan on and off and had to eliminate the existing switch that controlled only the top socket of the rooms electric wall sockets. Time about 1 1/2 to 2 hours work. Was offered and explained well the options as to how I want to control the electricity going into the room to control lighting fixtures and fan. Ceiling fan remote control had to be programmed properly and was not charge for this. That was a good service offered unexpectantly for free, would of charge an extra $25. Unexpected things that were not mention in original cost such as this and the workers offered to do it free make you want to do business with them again. $275 total was reduced to $250 with Angie list coupon. All in all a well professional job well done.

Description of Work: They came to work on my cable issue because my cable provider would not do the work because of where the problem was located. Two technicians arrived at the right time, got to work quickly and efficiently, identified the problem and got it right.

Description of Work: After getting a couple other electricians telling me I had to replace my whole feeder panel ($2500 to $3000) due to one burned out bus bar tab, Tom at Armes Electric told me I had other less expensive and less time consuming options. Tom suggested a couple options that were to current electrical codes. Tom offered this help knowing I had another electrician already lined up for an afternoon visit - I was getting multiple bids since I thought the project was going to be big. Anyways, this is an honest, helpful company and I highly recommend them. I got the job done for $270, about 10% what I thought I was going to have to spend.

Description of Work: I called regarding several outlets in my kitchen not working. I spoke with the owner, Pete, and he walked me through what to check before making a service call. He was polite and professional and answered all my questions easily. He also saved me about $200! His instructions on what to do and what to check worked and the outlets are now working. Description of Work: Resident reported circuit breaker tripped and would not reset. Electrician talked resident through proper reset process over the phone and resolved the problem.

Description of Work: I called and asked if there was a chance for a last minute service call to see if I had shorted out one of my circuits. Pete was so nice and helpful. First he said that all trucks were out on jobs but if anyone finished early, he'd call me. Then he said that he might be able to save me some money. He gave me some instructions of things I could try, he waited on the phone a few minutes while I tried his recommendation of a 'hard reset' of the circuit breakers and it worked!I will definitely give him a call if I need an electrician again for this old house!

Description of Work: He fixed my garage light problem in minutes. This was amazing as two other so called electricians were unable to solve the problem. Therefore, I had him do another project which he did with a great idea on how it was set up. Very pleased.
