He was a good young man that did his work. I'm very satisfied with the service, but I wouldn't hire him again, because I have a handyman of my own now.

Taylor is a dream to work with. We always talk the same day if I call and often within the hour if he doesn’t pick up right away because he is with a client or out of range. He researches products on line and emails me suggestions which saves hours of time. He has a blackberry so email, text, and phone are possible alternate communication methods which save a lot of chat time and frustration. Taylor is quite young but has his contractors license. He really knows his stuff. When we discovered some errors in the way the deck and posts had been set up he suggested a solution that worked beautifully. He always steers you to a solution that will work for the long term and not the short term and explains and/or shows you why it is better. When we chose windows that neither he nor did not realized were new to the supplier because they did not tell us, there were shipping issues. They arrived 6 weeks after promised with the wrong door hardware. He met the delivery people and recognized the errors and withheld a significant portion of the payment. He bugged the supplier (whom I had chosen) for the 3 months that it took to get it right even though he had been paid for all his work. He kept us informed all along the way by copying us on emails and got back to me when it had slipped my mind for a while. He negotiated a deal for our inconveniences. He would carefully review all the solutions with me and we would then choose one. He completely resolved the problem. I work as a therapist so it was a major life saver having him do all the phone work that other contractors required me to do. Taylor loves what he does and it shows. The quality of the work is amazing. Drainage on the contracted work was perfect; the joints sublime; the paint match amazing. You don’t walk in and see 25 tiny things he missed. He doesn’t miss anything. It looks just as nice a year later. The second project involved installing new cabinets and sinks, garbage disposal, trash drawer, refrigerator, basically a mini kitchen 12 feet in length in an entertainment room as well as a large screen TV, blu ray player and the rest. Again he kept in contact, found suppliers, insisted on mahogany cabinets which are gorgeous and still brought it in under budget. Again he kept us fully informed about scheduling and next steps and was in ready contact as needed. When we froze and couldn’t pick a TV in time he installed a loaner until we got our act together. When I didn’t like knobs he picked from my description and my husband bought a sound system that couldn’t be recessed as we had planned, Taylor consulted with us and promptly replaced the speakers and knobs with something better. Taylor is always calm and polite so you don’t feel bad if you screw up. I have done three major remodel projects in the time prior to Taylor. The first guy was good. The second two made you hate contractors. Taylor is incredible to work with for quality and price. Taylor shops and works like he is spending his money, not mine. He is good at hiring people but when he ran into electrical issue he believed was under warranty he insisted I call the contractor who installed it and did not refer me to an electrician because he said he didn’t feel he had anyone appropriate. I could go on and on. I have referred Taylor to friends who have used him on 2 separate occasions for large jobs caused by water damage to their home. One was a $40,000 repair needed for their home and the other. It was very traumatic to have the whole bottom floor of their house flooded. They both work full-time. I forget the cost but was much larger than our projects. The have had their own truly nightmare contractors on at least 2 previous occasions. They can’t believe Taylor’s professionalism and thank me every time we talk.
