SENTIENT TECHNOLOGY

I spilled coffee on my MacBook Pro's keyboard and the computer shut down. I was not able to get it to reboot. I contacted Kalae and made an appointment to take my computer and external drive to him. It appeared the hard drive data was retrievable and I left it for pickup the next morning. All files were transferred and hard drive reinstalled into MacBook Pro so I could take to the Apple store to get an estimate on repair cost of the logic board, etc. I found Kalae professional, personable and very knowledgable around Macs. I would use him again.

Kalae showed up right on time and evaluated our set up. We use Apple Time Machine, an Airport Extreme and two Airport Expresses. Kalae reconfigured the bridges to wired from wireless and improved the transfer rate of our WiFi throughout the house.

Kalae Borelli upgraded the OS on my Mac -- well, that was the original intent! He found my laptop to be running very slow, so asked if he could keep it overnight to check it out. What should have been only an hour's worth of effort took many hours on his part, but he charged me only a fraction of what he could have. It was extremely fair and I was very pleased. I emailed him with another little issue a couple days later and he was very responsive, even following up with a phone call to make sure everything was working correctly. I've found my Mac Doctor!

I called set up appointment on a weekend--which was convenient for me. He arrived exactly on time and was fast, efficient and accurate.

He did the entire work really well. It took him at least a couple of hours to do everything because it was a little tricky. The technician was wonderful and really knew what he was doing. He did everything on a window's based program and it was tricky for him. He went above and beyond the call and I really appreciated it. He asks what you use the machine for and he finds ways to help you get to it easy.
