Andrew Joseph Designs

We purchased this home with the intention of doing a complete remodel - gutting and rebuilding. We hired Andrew at the start of the project and it's probably the best decision we made. He worked closely with the architect on the initial layout and design of the house. While the architect is skilled at pulling together the larger design Andrew paid attention to smaller design details and made valuable suggestions becuase he was able to visualize the house complete with furniture. He paid attention to how we will be utilizing the space and he kept our focus on the theme flowing throughout the house. Andrew created a space plan of our home illustrating where every piece of furniture will go including rugs and lamps. He laid out the lighting plan to fit with the furniture layout so that the architect could make sure the electrical outlets and light fixtures will fit with the furniture layout. Andrew spent an entire two days with us at showrooms picking out all the materials and finishes - hardwood flooring, tiles, cabinets, granite countertops, bathroom fixtures, faucets, shower doors etc. He made it so easy and his guidance was invaluable - we would never have been able to pull the whole concept together as he did. When he makes a suggestion he always backs it up with a simple explanation of why and usually it's something we would never have considered. Andrew listens and really understands what we are looking for and he delivers just that and never tries to push his own tastes on us. He just guides us toward what he knows we'll like. He is very professional but fun to be around and made the two days of shopping so easy. I can't say enough good things about Andrew and I highly recommend calling him if you are considering any type of remodel or design project.
