I have 24 years of extensive experience in the real estate industry, including 17 years in property management working for a national builder & developer and 7 years in residential sales. After a successful career working with institutional investors, I shifted my focus to individuals, single family homes and 1-4 unit investment properties. It has been a natural transition from multi-family to residential sales. I have built a consistent, successful track record over the last seven years working with buyers and sellers in residential real estate as a Realtor, previously with Keller Williams Realty and currently with Re/Max Accord. I specialize in the East Bay Area of Contra Costa county including Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Concord, Martinez, Lafayette and, as far as, Brentwood, Antioch, Oakley and Pittsburg. My goal as your listing agent is to help you sell your home for the highest price, in the shortest period of time, with the least amount of inconvenience to you. As your RE/MAX buyer’s agent my commitment to you is to see that you find your next home or investment property at the best possible price and terms while aiding you through the entire process from beginning to end. I liked Janie right off. I didn't want someone who would push me to buy, act like a salesperson, be too hyper, etc. I realized I felt more comfortable with a woman, and I wanted someone low-key and genuine. Janie has been like that with me and has stuck with me even though it must have seemed I would never, ever buy. Janie listened to what I wanted and treated me with respect. (Janie works in parts of Oakland as well as Contra Costa County).
Description of Work: Janie worked with me for literally YEARS while we searched Bay Point, Martinez, and Concord for a house I could afford .(I had to have a yard; no condos.) Almost bought one in Bay Point, but backed out due to a serious issue that the owner would not fix.)FINALLY, prices came down a little and I was able to buy a cottage in Concord in January 2008 that is near my work and perfect for me.
