We have worked with a number of A/C professionals, and none compare to this team! They were beyond knowledgeable on mini splits, and gave us multiple options that we didn't even know existed. Most A/C guys have installed one or two of these units, so they have been hit and miss. They are the ONLY ones to install a system in your home. He was on-time (something very hard to find), courteous and delivered exactly what we asked for at the best price. They cleaned up the house well and made sure we knew how to operate the equipment. They even made sure we understood our warranty options and ongoing self-maintenance to keep it running. Our house is cool and energy efficient!

Joseph was great. Honestly, I would recommend him to anyone looking for a nice professional to work with. He installed a mini split system for three rooms and did an excellent job. My home has two rooms left to complete and I am definitely calling him back to finish the job.

I first became familiar with the ductless mini-split system while living in Japan about 25 years ago and have always wondered why it wasn't popular here in the states. This system is so smart, eco-friendly and rather than wasting energy on the whole house, you can just turn on the room that you're using. I'd done some research in the states and knew how expensive it was compared to Asia and others countries (same experience as your other reviews) I'd actually spoke to about 3 - 4 different companies for an estimate until I finally found Joe, who was not only super knowledgeable but patient and most of all honest. He gave us various options to consider and worked with me on how best to make the most with my budget and in the end, we got exactly what we wanted for a lot less than what other companies had quoted. The installation process was also smooth and he did a great job. I would recommend the mini-split system as well as Joe and his crew to anyone and everyone. Thank you so much!

Like the reviewer before me, I have an old house and don't often need air conditioning, plus I too have traveled and been impressed by mini splits (and window units were out because I have casement windows). I also find the prices in the US outrageous compared to what I know it costs in Asia and elsewhere. Again, like the previous reviewer, I found that for what I wanted--a dual zone mini split system for two bedrooms but with one compressor--Joseph quoted me a much more reasonable price and was very honest about the pros and cons of the various systems he sells and installs. I put getting AC off for several years because of the cost, but finally bit the bullet and had them installed. The units are ultra quiet, work great so far, and my entire experience with Joseph and his crew was excellent. He gave me a quote on the spot, and had it all installed within 2 weeks (possibly it would have been earlier, but i went on vacation). Just in time for the summer heat!

After traveling throughout Europe and the middle east where mini-splits are the norm, I wanted this eco-friendly and efficient system for my home. I have an older home with a sole gas wall furnace and no A/C. I live on the Westside so it isn't often that it is hot enough to suffer and really want that A/C but I've thought about it for years. I have an add-on room that is like a cabin, i.e. no insulation and it becomes nearly unusable in the summer.
I was recently at Home Depot where they had a special table with information on mini-splits and I became excited - until I saw the price. It was outrageous - especially considering that outside of the US, houses and apartments have a unit in every room. At Home Depot, it was like the mini-spits was something new and novel. What?!!!! I was even more outraged when I called some installers and was quoted a price for a single unit installation. Some of the other companies on Angie's list quoted 2 to 3 times higher than PC Refrigeration.
When I contacted Joseph and explained what I wanted, he quickly emailed me several options that included unit price and installation. He carefully explained the differences among the brands, BTU's and SEER's. And his prices were 2-3 times lower than his competitors. He emailed a contract, I signed it and Paypal(ed) a deposit.
So we scheduled the installation with the size/brand of my choosing. He arrived exactly as agreed and worked diligently at the installation. When he finished he carefully explained everything, showing me how the indoor unit functions; the outdoor unit care and walked me through using the remote.
He then assessed the and quot;main houseand quot; where I will need 4 indoor units and an outdoor muli-unit. I'm waiting for the quote with hopes that someday I can afford it. I don't know why people are still using central A/C and heat with ducts. The mini-splits are so much better!

.a fujitsu unit that powers two stations is outside while attic contains evaporators and ducting unit is cold and quiet, had one drainage issue and the crew came immediatly(a sunday)and no further issues.
