+ -1 moreThey were really good. Their price was a little high. They were kind of slow in their response and giving their estimate. They were professional and on time. They came out right away. Their quote was about $1000 more than the other quotes.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from J D Roofing few weeks ago to put a new roof and also do some repairs on the roof.

+ -1 moreOriginal estimate was $7,500 for new roof plus cost of wood rot removal and repair. They had originally estimated only $1,500 of wood rot, however, he did warn me that he could not be certain how much wood rot I had until he lifted the shingles off and saw what was underneath. They ended up replacing over 135ft of fascia boards, 12 rafter tails around the house, and lots of field boards (plywood boards on top of roof). They did the work within 5 business days (it was over 90 degrees on two of those days), as promised. They could have replaced less fascia boards, however, I wanted some upgraded wood around my garage (the old fascia boards around the garage were only 1x6 - I wanted 2x6 around the perimeter). This added to the cost. The owner is John Davis.
Description of Work: Removed several layers of shingles, including rock roof. Replaced lots of wood rot on fascia beams, rafter tails, and plywood. [Brand: Certainteed shingles / Thunderstorm Gray.]

+ -1 moreI think that the roofer that came out to my house was really nice and I will use him again. There were no surprises or complaints that I had with them. I don't believe that they took very long to complete the job either.
Description of Work: J D removed and replaced the shingles on my 1,800 square foot roof.
