Jay's One Stop Cleaning Services

It was great to be able to rely o Jay's One Stop while I am out of town. In the past, I had to stop renting my house out when I was out of town. Now I can continue this income stream even when away!

I was in a hurry to get a rental house ready. I called Jose and Gabby who were very friendly on the phone and came over to give me an estimate quickly. I was clear that I wanted the wood blinds on all the windows cleaned with water and cleanser, not just dusting. I wanted the windows cleaned inside and out, bathrooms, vertical blinds cleaned with soap and water, tile floors well mopped as they were very sticky, refrigerator, stove and dishwasher cleaned, drawers opened and wiped out. They noted everything I asked, counted the number of windows, told me appliances were an extra $40 and windows would add $135. Total was $325. I thought this was a bit high but agreed. The next day they would come about 2pm with a crew. They started about 1pm because a morning job was finished early. I was outside supervising another project so I wasn't checking on them constantly. Maybe an hour in I went in and noticed that one worker was working so slowly cleaning the stove. She must have spent over 30 min. on the stove top which was not that dirty. Later I checked, opened stove to see that she had not even cleaned inside. Jose said he would do that as she had to leave at 2pm. Two other workers arrived to begin. I observed that one young girl was on her cell phone each time I came into the area she was working. I brought this to Jose's attention noting that she was not doing a good job. He commented that it was hard to find good help and had used this group because he didn't have any other but would not hire them again. These 3 workers did not do much and about 5pm it was just Jose working to clean up after them and get done. I left the property about 6pm and told him to call me when done. It was close to 8pm and I went over to check inside but the floors were wet and I did not want to track dirt so I assumed he had done everything and paid him. The next morning I went back to check on the work and was very disappointed. The floors were streaked and especially bad in the kitchen area. He had done a good job cleaning the grout. The kitchen window had not been cleaned at all and one window he had broken (he showed me the crack the day before saying there had been a tiny crack, he had pressed too hard cleaning and it broke. It cost me $120 to fix that), appliances poorly finished. The broiler was full of grime and blackened food. The refrigerator handles were greasy and uncleaned. The sides were untouched. Everywhere I looked I saw poor work. The wood blinds were still grimy, vertical blinds dirty and not even cleaned on top. Bathroom drawers full of hair, so not wiped out. I had to show the house to someone and she commented that while she liked it, she hoped that it could be cleaned! I was very upset that I had spent so much money to get so little done. I ended up working 7 more hours over 2 days to clean all the things Jose said would be done. My husband came in and mopped the whole house with vinegar and water and the floors sparkled. I don't know what products Jose used but they did not clean well. I know he made a good effort and was trying to work fast to make up for his slow crew but in the end I am the one who paid too much for a job poorly finished. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

I called around to many local cleaners who either did not show for their estimate or didn't want to travel very far. The home is rural and on acreage. I call Jose at Jays One Stop who immediately responded by a call and email. He knew it was far out of his territory but went the extra mile to help me out. He asked for details I needed on the cleaning and got back to me the next day with an estimate. I was able to ask questions over email and discuss how they do things several times with always getting a nice and complete reply. His promptness, professionalism, and communicating for any need really impressed me. As well as his eagerness to get the business and do a good job. His crew was early to the job, had confirmed with me the night before, and also emailed me when done. I saw the house that afternoon and was very happy I had hired him and his crew!! Everything was done and complete, just as he had said ! Nowadays, that is hard to find. I have his number and will call again if I need his services. I suggest you give them a call!
