When confirming the night before the 2:30pm appointment for the next day, they left a message that indicated they wanted to move the mirrors in the morning. When I tried to call back to leave a message that evening and the next morning to correct the time for the afternoon, their answer machines for every extension were non-functional with a recording "that destination is not available." At least they did call the next morning and ok'd the 2:30 appointment, and at 2:30pm they phoned to say they would be late. Just before 4pm they arrived and looked at the job. They indicated this was not what they were told. I apologized because their person in the office did not understand my English, but I did not tell anyone the mirrors were laying down in a garage but that they were leaning vertically on walls. They implied that the job was now going to take too much time and was going to cost more (apparently turning a mirror sideways and walking one mirror out to the truck while I loosened the others for them was going to cost $100 more). I don't think that was the proper way for them to handle their lateness or their lack of communication in their office. Wasted my day and my project. Kids have to dance in a ballet studio where they can't see themselves.

It went all right. The owners were very nice and responsive people; however, my feeling was that the level of their interest was proportional to the size of the job. Our job was small, so they were not interested as much as we had hoped. The glass received, while in the same family as the one we had ordered, was not exactly the same, but similar. To be frank, I was not very happy because of that. On a positive side, they put the glass into the doors while we were waiting, which was very nice of them. The price was OK, close to what we expected.

I was remodeling my bathroom and needed a company to put in a custom frameless glass shower. The company my contractor recommended was a no show so I ended up calling Walnut Valley Glass on a Saturday. Pat was the only one working the store that day and he said that if it was slow he would close up early and come by and take measurements. He was able to come by and by Tuesday - Monday was a holiday- I was down at the shop picking out type the type of glass and ordering my shower. Although my shower took a little longer ordering then I would have liked, 9 working days from order to install, the install went without a hitch and the shower looks very nice. I have used Walnut Valley Glass before and am very happy with their workmanship and will continue to use them in the future. I especially thought Pat was very professional and nice and I really appreciated him coming by on a holiday weekend.

I called and gave measurements over the phone and they gave me an estimate. When they came out, however, they saw that the track could not be used--it was of such poor quality that it had crushed inwards. They explained to me that this was because it had no wood backing included in the mechanism (I don't recommend Lowe's because of this). They figured out what the cost of repair versus new doors would be and found it was only $30 more for beautiful new doors, so I went with that. They took the doors away, ordered new ones, and within a week, called me for an appointment to install them. Two men came, installed the doors quickly and efficiently, and showed me the doors so that I could approve their installation. He was extremely professional and answered all my questions. I would certainly use them again.

The overall job was excellent. The installer was very polite, experienced and professional. The quality of the work performed was impressive. The work areas were cleaned prior to the installers departure. As a return customer, I was given a well-appreciated discount. Turn-around time from original on-scene estimate to completion of work was only one week.
