Shades of Green

I emailed them and got the quote but my mom went with someone else that her friend recommended. They got back to me fairly quickly and they seemed to be knowledgeable about their type of service. By looking at their website, it looks like they have a pretty good variety of services and they have some certifications as an arborist.

Per the LA county Fire Department, we needed to cut down 3 Italian Cypress trees to the stump (each tree was a little taller than a 2 story house). We were only given 30 days, so it was important to move fast on this task. Shades of Green came highly recommended by a colleague of mine. When I looked the business up on Angie's list, I could see why it is a a customer favorite. Within a few hours of the initial message of interest I left with Mike, he came by, and gave me an estimate. Needless to say, Mike beat other competitors on Angie's List. The crew was finished with the job even before I was able to get home! AMAZING!!! The cleanup was professional and I know I will not receive any complaints from the neighbors. Skeptical about choosing someone you can trust? So was I, but not anymore. Pick Mike and his Shades of Green Tree Service. Overall grade: A+++

A neighbors tree was hanging over the property line into our rental property and was damaging the power lines running to the house. We had used Shades of Green before and were happy with their work so we called them again. They arrived on time to give us a bid and then returned the next day to do the work as promised. The overhanging tree was effectively and attractively trimmed and all the debris was hauled away.

Mike performed the work as agreed on the day we scheduled it to be done.

THEY WERE VERY CAREFUL WITH EVERY ASPECT OF THE JOB. THEY DID NOT RUSH AND HAD SEVERAL MEN WORKING SO THE JOB WAS DONE QUICKLY. THEY WERE CAREFUL TO NOT CRUSH OTHER PLANTS NEARBY AND CLEANED UP EVERYTHING.

IT WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DID WHAT THEY HAD TO DO. THEY PROVIDED GOOD CLEAN UP AND TOOK EVERYTHING WITHOUT LEAVING ANY JUNK BEHIND. THEY PERFORMED THE WORK FAST AND NEAT.

MIKE HIMSELF COMES OUT AND LOOKS AT THE TREES AND THE WORK THAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. HE IS VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE ABOUT TREES AND WHEN THEY SHOULD BE TRIMMED. HIS CREW COMES OUT AND DOES THE WORK, AND THEY CLEAN EVERYTHING UP AND THEN ARE GONE. MIKE THEN COMES OUT AGAIN AND MAKES SURE EVERYTHING IS DONE. THEY ARE VERY THOROUGH AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.
