The experience was awesome and the work was impeccable. We have other areas that we will eventually be installing the same materials and we will use McCane without hesitation.

He and 2 other companies gave me quotes. His wasn't the lowest or highest bid, but he seemed to be the most professional and knowledgable. Since it was 5 years ago, I'm just guessing at the cost. He did all of the work himself. He showed up when he said he would. He focused on the job and completed in a timely manner in a week or more. Five years later, it still looks great!

Larry Is a great wood floor installer. Easy going, easy to work with, trustworthy to have in your home. Final price was exactly as agreed.

Larry installed approximately 1800 square feet of Lauzon Santos Mahogany wood flooring in our home in 2007. He did an exceptional job. He even met with our tile installers to ensure a level transition from tile to wood. No transition strips for us! Everyone that enters our home comments about our beautiful wood floor. Recently we had Larry repair two areas of wood flooring in our kitchen. It is impossible to tell where the repairs were made. He is meticulous, punctual and fair in his pricing. We recommend him to everyone looking for quality wood floor installation.

Larry did an excellent job installing a carpet runner on my laminate stairs. There was a bit of challenge in that the steps are not very deep but he positioned the carpet to give some extra depth. He is very professional in his work and pleasant to work with. I took some of his business cards to my workpalce and have recommended him to my co-workers. He is one of those contractors that truly cares about his work and pleasing the customer.

Larry was very professional and friendly and clear on what materials were needed, which I purchased at Rayo Wholesale. The actual install went very smoothly. It was completed in about 3 or 4 hours.

Larry came to our home for an initial visit. He was very helpful in guiding us in flooring decisions for our particular situation. After we decided upon a particular laminate, Larry came back to take measurements and gave us a ball park estimate to be followed up with an email estimate. Prior to receiving the estimate, I had some concerns, so he emailed, texted, and came over again to discuss those concerns. We received the estimate at that time, and agreed to have the job begin. Larry ordered all the materials. The first day, it was just Larry, removing the old multiple types of flooring and prepping the area. Day two, he brought in a second licensed contractor to assist and make the job go faster. We really appreciated this as we didn't want the house torn up for any longer than necessary. As the initial job was nearing completion, we decided that we liked the look so much that we wanted to continue the laminate into the living room as well. Both Larry and Scott Smith had another job that they needed to do the following day, but they were able to return on Thursday and do the additional work. Then on Friday, Larry came back for the final touch ups and final clean up. These two men obviously work together often and make a great team. They had all the right tools and the know how. Both have many years of experience putting in various types of flooring and believe in doing the job right the first time. Putting in laminate is not as easy as it appears on TV. I'm sure glad that we had these two contractors doing this job. They did more than we expected, and we are very pleased with the whole experience. I really liked dealing with the person that was going to install the laminate and not a sales person. I will be contacting Larry when we replace the rest of the flooring in our home.

Larry McCane is the owner. I was very satisfied and he did a beautiful job. The actual job cost $15000 and $5000 was for his work, which was for the labor. The work was beautiful. The workmanship was excellent. He gave good advice and recommendations for baseboard as well as care for the carpet. He and his people were easy to work with. It was a fair price for what I got out of it. The price was not at all out of line.

Everything went fantastic with him. The work turned out well. There was one thing I did not like but he came the next day to fix the problem.

Larry (the owner) responded to my Angie's List inquiry promptly. He showed up when he said that he would. I could tell that he really knew what he was talking about. He spoke with me and got a clear idea of what I wanted and what I didn't want. He e-mailed me the estimate for the work that I'd asked for promptly. After receiving the estimate, I decided to go ahead with the work. I was going through a refi, and I explained this to Larry....that it might be a while before we got to the project. After the refi came through, I called him, and we arranged a job start time which was suitable for both of us. Both he and another person arrived to do the work (on time). The prep work and the thresholds were done by Larry, and the subcontractor did the finishing work on the floor. Larry installed the vinyl flooring in my kitchen. Also, Larry cut, painted and installed the baseboards in every room; and put some quarter round in the kitchen where it was needed. I couldn't have been any happier with the results. Not only did they know exactly how to get the job done and arrived on time, they were extremely polite. As far as I'm concerned, Larry's a perfectionist and did as close to a perfect job as is possible. My house looks beautiful. I'd hire him again in heartbeat.

It is a much better job than the previous installer had done in the same area. Larry was a pleasure to work with-very professional, knowledgeable, honest, and fair. We highly recommend Larry for hardwood installation work especially where the leveling is challenging and where you may not want to use transition pieces between wood and tile. We are very particular and Larry did a great job.

It went great. He has highly recommended and knew a lot about how to do complicated installation (over uneven foundation etc) His prices seemed good and we definitely planned to use him. He really made a great, honest, impression and I believe he is a wood expert.
