There was no charge for the estimate. The experience was very good. They set up appointments and came when they were supposed to. They spent at least an hour doing their estimate. They were on time and if was going to be late then they called. If I was to do another paint job, I would call them for an estimate. I had a wide range with prices and I choose another company due to pricing. I did choose the company with the lesser price. The estimates that I received all seemed to be providing about the same service, so I decided to go with the cheaper one. The one that I choose to go with was about $3000 less than the others.

It was excellent. The estimate was free. Their attention to detail, professionalism and reasonableness of the estimate stands out to me. We were pleased.

First impressions do matter. When Henry arrived for our scheduled appointment, he showed up in uniform and presented me with a customized folder with printed references inside. The estimate was quick but detailed. After about a week of getting quotes from other companies, Henry's Professional Painting was still number one on my list to perform the job. They are fully licensed, professional, honest, reasonably priced, friendly, punctual, and always willing to answer my questions about painting.

We could not be more happy with the quality of work and professional of Henry's crew. We have a new home!! The exterior painting looks awesome, and several neighbors have already commented on the quality of the work. From initial prep to final clean Henry's crews were skill craftsmen that took great pride in the work they were performing. Exterior coverage is excellent, over-spray and paint splatter is non-existent, prep was top notch, clean up and and tidiness were performed every day, and their foreman addressed every one of my questions and additional requests with a 'yes we will take care of that'. We could not be happier with the quality of the overall job and professionalism by Henry's crew. Would definitely use again and highly recommend to other homeowners. Total job time was estimated at 3 days and the job was completed in 3 days.

Henry and his great crew did a great job painting the exterior of our home. Henry was very helpful in choosing colors and his crew did wonderful work making our home look new again. They paid great attention to detail and cleaned up every day before they left. Will definitely use them again!

We got quotes from 5 different painters in the San Diego area. Henry's was not the lowest price but we felt that he could deliver quality service in a timely manner, we were not disappointed. Henry’s Professional Painting did an outstanding job repairing the water-damaged ceiling. First, Henry explained what they were going to do. Then the painters prepped the room by moving the furniture out of the way and by hanging thin-plastic sheeting to protect the walls, fireplace, and carpet. Then they dug out the damaged dry wall and re-plastered the area. After a fan dried the plaster, they sanded and primed the area twice. Then they painted the ceiling. After they were done they removed the plastic sheeting, cleaned the area, and moved the furniture back to its original location. The repair was completed in less than 4 hours and the room looks beautiful. The painters were courteous and very professional throughout the repair process. I was very pleased by their work.

Henry was punctual and always delivered when he said he would. His crew finished the first project in one day. After the excellent result, the rest of the house looked faded and the fencing no longer complemented the house. So Henry agreed to paint the entire house and stucco as well as improve the front patio. The final result is beautiful. I will enjoy coming home and loving the appearance of my home for many years to come. Henry's business always provided excellent customer service. They update you about every schedule and changes when applicable. Henry's pricing is very reasonable. He comes highly recommended and I will always be a loyal customer whenever I need a painting job done.

From start to finish, the men did a great job on our house painting. Our house looks beautifully-refreshed. The painting was done with great care, the men were pleasant and polite, and everything that needed to be moved our of the way for access was replaced to its original location before they left. We?re very grateful for the service this company provided and have already recommended them to several neighbors.

Henry is delightful and very practical (recommends what you need and no more). He was very responsive, returning our calls promptly. Joe communicated well and showed great attention to detail, ensuring that the correct paint color was mixed (the paint company had mixed the wrong color, but Joe caught it and had them mix the correct color before arriving on site). He called to let us know when he was on his way to our home, discussed with us the exact work to be performed, did a thorough job (at the end, he gave us the opportunity to walk the job before putting his tools/paint away, touching up areas as needed), and left the work area neat and clean. Michelle in the office is so friendly and very service oriented. Great team -- wonderful experience!

Henry contacted me immediately after my previous review was posted and visited our home to inspect the situation. He did not hesitate to take responsibility and will correct the tacky surfaces with a different paint. He explained why and how the tackiness occurred. He was very apologetic about not responding to my earlier call saying it was a communication slip-up. Having managed a small business, I know these things can happen. I am 100% satisfied with my issue. Henry is very conscientious and professional. His clients are important to him and I will happily contact him with any future projects. It is very reassuring to have trusted tradesmen you can rely on.

No service because they did not return phone calls. Update: Michelle did call us back and we discussed the communication problems. She was apologetic about the confusion and explained that Henry does not usually give estimates for our type (small?) jobs but she did ask if we still wanted Henry to come out. Since we had 3 estimates already and committed to a painter I told her it was too late. We received a very nice note from Henry's after our phone conversation. If we had a large painting job we would try Henry's Professional Painting again.

This is the third time we've worked with Henry's and he and his team are, beyond doubt, the most professional group of contractors we've worked with. The team, who have been with Henry's for each job, are exacting and have a great work ethic. They showed up on time and worked incredibly hard in order to finish on time and absolutely beautifully! If it had not been for Henry himself, I think we would have still been searching for the perfect color for our bathroom.

Henry and his crew were very professional. Always showed up on time. Worked quickly and quietly. On the last day, they did clean-up. When they were gone, you couldn't have even known anyone had been there. Not one piece of trash, not one thing out of place. None of my plants were broken, no stray paint splotches anywhere. Henry even helped us choose a paint color for the garage door rather on the spot, when the original one we chose didn't work out. I would definitely recommend Henry's to everyone and have told several of our neighbors about him.

We are a small 7-unit condo complex that needed a new coat of paint. Henry and his crew were wonderful. Communication was clear and timely. Since we are a small semi-self-managed complex, they had to deal with multiple people on our end, all with different responsibilities. They also had to deal with each owner and/or renter. They have been wonderful. Their sub-contractors were also most professional. We just picked the color scheme of another complex with some modification, and Henry was able to match the color. The job was completed on time and perfectly. Everyone involved was extremely satisfied. The price was excellent, too. I don't have a single bad thing to say about Henry and his crew. I will definitely hire them to do any painting job I have in the future!

After all the great reviews on this company, I was really surprised at how disappointing our experience was with a seemingly simple job. Working with Michelle for scheduling was great, but there was definitely a lack of communication between what I spoke with her about and what the painter who showed up for the job knew. The job was pretty simple - paint our front double doors and two exterior shutters. The painter showed up without the paint even though Michelle had confirmed they would get the paint and she even had the color I needed. Since I didn't have the paint, the painter had to leave and go buy the paint. Even though I provided him with the information for the one paint color that I wanted to use for both the doors and the shutters, he bought two different colors of paint (one for the doors, one for the shutters) for some reason. Luckily, I confirmed the colors with him before he started the painting so at least the correct color was used for both locations. After that, the painting started and then I noticed that he painted all the trim around the outside of the door even though I was very clear that only the doors were to be painted. By some stroke of luck I happened to have the paint for the trim, so he was able to fix that, but there wasn't much that could be done about the metal weatherstripping at the bottom of the door that was painted over. It was clear to me that this painter didn't have much experience painting doors, especially since he sprayed the door but left a bunch of obvious brush marks where he touched up. It was such a shame because my experience getting the quote and setting up the job was great but the actual work that was done was subpar so I would not recommend them. ========== UPDATE: When Henry found out about my experience with this painting job, he came out the next day (a Sunday) to repaint the front doors himself and now they look great. While the original experience didn't go very smoothly, the fact that Henry was so determined to make sure that we were happy says a lot about the type of business that he runs. With all of the good reviews that his company has, I suspect that maybe the original painter that came out was just having an off day. I would definitely consider them for future painting projects.

The job was done quickly, and the quality seems high to me. The crew was clean and efficient, leaving the property as clean as they found it. Follow up from Henry to assure that the job was completed to our satisfaction was immediate and much appreciated. We even received a thank you package of brownies of few days after the job was completed as a thank you for using their services. Very nice touch! Already looking at painting projects around the house that are beyond my abilities. Henry will be the first one I call and will likely get the job.

It went very well. They did an excellent job all around. The house is now a color we love, and there were no issues. They double checked to make sure that everything was painted that should have been painted.

The experience with Henry, Annie and the painting team was great. Their price is competitive to other painters that are licensed and bonded, which is what I expect. The way I see it, this job is an investment in my house. I expect the paint to last 10+ years, so I want it done right with a company that stands behind their work. Everyone on the team is responsive. My initial email was returned within a couple of hours with a call from Annie, and I was able to set up a consultation in two days. All subsequent calls and inquiries throughout the job were met with the same responsiveness. Henry met me a second time to help me choose the paint color. There was a house in the neighborhood that I liked, but the owners were not home so Henry spent nearly an hour matching the colors. As for his team, I was notified when to expect the workers to power wash and paint my home and everyone showed up on time. The painters stayed from 7:30am - 4pm everyday until the job was done (3 days). Everyone was knowledgeable and polite. A couple of days after the job was complete, there was bubbling on our garage. Getting Henry to come back and fix the problem only took one call, and within the week, he took care of it. I wasn't even home when he redid the job. I just left the paint outside, and when I got home, the job was done. This is the level of professionalism I expected and got from this company. Will definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone.

Henry is a genius at helping pick colors and his crew fabulous. They repaired stucco that was a disaster. Our old house looks like new!! We used Henry's fifteen years ago. I am sure this paint job will last as long. I just hope we do.
