Henry's Professional Painting

prompt, beautiful job, happy happy happy!!! He also painted a small area of the house to show me what it would look like. Did not ask for payment until work was done.

I had read another review that said ?Professional Painting? was the perfect description for Henry?s work, and I want to second that. Just talking to Henry about the job, you could see that you were in great hands. He quickly saw where there were problems and gave advice how to solve them. For example the electrical boxes had previously been painted as trim, which made them stand out. He said if we painted them the same as stucco they would just disappear and he was exactly right. He explained how problem areas of mold needed to be treated, and did not hesitate to give me bad news. For example I wanted to paint my cement deck, and one of the contractors had said that would be no problem, and no extra charge. However Henry explained that concrete tends to hold water so that painting over it is a bad idea because when the warm weather comes, the water would evaporate causing the paint to bubble up. Henry also told me about two areas, a door and a guard railing, which should not just be painted over, but should be repaired before painting. As it worked out, by the time I had this work done, the rest of the painting had already been completed, so Henry sent over one of his painters to do those areas at no extra charge. Last and for me super important, it was a joy to interact with Henry. I had consulted Consumer Reports on paint and wanted to use a Behr paint that received excellent ratings in a 10-year follow-up. Two of the contractors gave me a hard time about this. One commented that he knew more about paint than some magazine and he would not guarantee the work for a year unless I used the vendor he preferred. I rather doubt that he had done a ten-year follow-up. There was none of that stuff with Henry. He said it would be perfectly fine to use any paint I liked. Henry is so mellow and cordial. He?s like a day at the park.

Henry is a real professional. He's one of those guys that you can immediately trust. Quality of work is exceptional and he makes sure you are satisfied with work. Estimates are usually prepared the same day and there are no hidden charges.

I had my vacation home painted first, both the interior and exterior. Then they painted the exterior of my current home and then our new garage door. They did a very professional job. Mr. Henry and his fianc? were very nice. The only concern was that, I have termites and drywall. I wonder why he didn?t notice that, because the termite guy said it has been there for some time. Apart from that, they do a good job and the price is fine. I like their services and will use the same in future.

I couldn't be happier. I got bids from three painters. Henry's was the lowest bid. Sometimes I hesitate to go with the lowest bid because I like high quality work, but Henry's reviews on Angie's List were excellent, so I chose him. All the positive things people have said were all true for my job also. I had already chosen one of the trim colors. Henry took a lot of time to help me chose other trim colors and also the main color for the stucco walls. He even mixed a color on the spot to match an existing security screen door. The colors all blend well together and my house looks better than it ever has. Henry's crew was efficient and polite. Everyone - and especially Henry- seemed happy all day long. I never thought that having my house painted would be a fun and enjoyable experience, but it was!

The experience was great, painters showed on time and did great job covering all floors and removing all covers and garbage after they were done. The paint job was excellent as well. There was a minor misunderstanding about 5% Angie's list discount (the discount was not included in the initial estimate and we were told that the discount would apply afterwards when we pay the bill, but the final bill did not include the discount), but after the phone call to Henry this was resolved and the discount was applied.

It was fabulous. Better than we ever expected. Extremely neat and tidy work and cleanup.

Everything went as planned. The painted everything we asked them to.

Our experience with this company was positive in every way. Henry was prompt, courteous and thoughtful when giving his estimate. The work on our fences and pergolas was complicated, due to mature plantings which covered much of the area needing to be painted. The crew was extremely professional, and the quality of their work was excellent. The initial work on the project was done efficiently, and on schedule. Rain delayed completion of the work for a few days, but the crew showed up each morning and waited to be absolutely certain conditions were too wet before leaving. Henry also called to make us aware of the scheduling changes due to the weather. Once the skies cleared, the crew was back to finish the job and clean up. I would highly recommend Henry's professional Painting, and have already done so, as several neighbors have commented on how nice the house looks, and how quickly the job was completed.

Called Henry and set up an appointment and he was out the next day. He provided a very reasonable price for what we wanted done and after completing the paint and dry wall we hired him for other projects. My wife and I could not have been happier with Henry's from start, to, finish. Prompt, honest, knowledgeable, quick, attention to detail, and very fair pricing. Henry, the owner, was very pleasant to deal with, as, was all of the staff. They completed the job in one day, which was appreciated, but in no way did they do a "quick" job. The job was done as I requested, no mistakes, all edges and lines are perfect. The first floor of our home now looks beautiful, thanks, in large part, to the great job done by Henry and his team. They really are no words to express how good our experience was, it was a great experience and a great job.

He was great. He was very professional and he was terrific. The only reason I didn't use him was because he had some waiting time and I was looking to get something done relatively quickly. I don't remember how much the bid was for, but it was very reasonable. I would consider using him in the future if I had to.

Henry's Painting was very professional in everyt part of the job, from the estimate, the prep work, the painting, to the clean up and communication. Henry came out twice for the estimate to discuss colors and patching of stucco and wood. The estimate was in the middle of those that I received but was very complete. Henry provided copies of his licensing, insurance and references without my asking for it. Wendy, in the office, was great to deal with on scheduling and she even sent me a get well card when I was sick one day and had to postpone an appointment. Eric, the foreman, was friendly, efficient and detail-oriented. The crew was very polite, professional, clean and unobtrusive. The paint job looks wonderful and we have received many complements. I would recommend this company to anyone for interior or exterior painting!

I thought the entire process went well. Henry responded to my direct calls and his staff verified my requests. The painter Josh was on time and cleaned up after the job was finished. During my first walk through I did notice a few areas needing touch-up. I pointed out the areas and Josh took care of them. He did a very good job overall.

I called for a date to do the painting and Wendy, said she would try for the end of the week. I was pleased because I wanted the work done soon. She managed to get me the close date. The painters were on time. It is an empty apartment but it was left clean - no paint spots anywhere. The painting was done July 28th and 29th, 2010.

It went very well. First day, patch, second day paint.

The price he gave me was fine, and they had done a fabulous job. They were very clean, and there was no mess. I am planning on using them in the future.

Henry and his crew painted the wood trim of my residence a year ago and recently I had them work on a rental property. They delivered the same high quality and attention to detail. The prep was good, they worked quickly and carefully, and they were thorough. I'm very happy with their work and I'd use them again.

They are phenomenal. We have a 2100 sq foot two story house and the entire job was completed in a 1.5 days. In addition, then repainted our interior stair-rail and fixed some mismatched stucco walls to the point of perfection. Henry often works himself on the job, but his crew are always cheerful, polite, efficient, and are true painting craftsmen. Highly recommended.

When I called for an estimate, Henry got back to me quickly. We planned to do the job earlier in the month, but I had to postpone because of an illness. Henry and his wife were very understanding, putting no pressure on me to hurry. Henry's wife is so charming that you feel like she is someone that you would love to be friends with.

Everything couldn't have been better. I was on a time crunch because we were having a party. I drove around, found a color I liked and gave Henry the address. Due to my short time frame, he came by my work to confirm color choices and helped me select additional accent colors which gave the house some depth. I would not have been able to do that on my own!

Excellent. Henry was very responsive. I called him, made an appointment for that weekend, and he gave us a quote before he walked off our property. He followed up with a written quote via email. We received 3 quotes and Henry's was substantially cheaper, although I learned a long time ago that you get what you pay for. But, the great referrals on Angie's List, and the recommendations from some on his referral list sold me! His crew was on the job in about 2 weeks, arriving on the day proposed. It took 3 days to complete with 6 men on the job, including Henry. We have called them back to do some touch ups that we noticed over the last 2 weeks, but that's to be expected on such a large job. One area of concern with the crew, communication. On their last day here, I didn't know payment would be expected. I had already left for work and had to turn around and come home 2 hours later to pay them when they were done. If I'd known, I would have worked from home until they were done. I thought payment would be made after Henry and I did a walk around\ together.
