We spent a lot of time trying to find the right contractor but each time I met with one I walked away feeling like they either didn't listen to what I wanted or that they were not dependable. Jason was the only exception. It was immediately obvious that he was knowledgeable, creative, and personable. His planning and estimate process was so thorough and yet impressively fast. Within 24 hours he had planned out every detail of our kitchen down to the wiring specs. He even brought the showroom to us in his state of the art mobile showroom where we picked out our cabinets, countertops, and flooring. During the remodel there were several unforeseen hurdles that most contractors would have charged us for, but Jason fixed them with no additional cost! He was very invested in maintain a high standard of quality and ensuring our satisfaction. We are very happy with our new kitchen and highly recommend Anderson Design.

We obtained proposals from three different contractors, one of which is a national store chain, for our kitchen remodel. Not only was Anderson Design the lowest of all the bids but also the most comprehensive in their initial evaluation. The owner, Jason, personally conducted the proposal and covered many smaller details that were not even mentioned in the other proposals - very comprehensive, which made for "zero" change orders. Naturally we selected Anderson Design. When things did come up along the way, as they always do, Jason worked very diligently to solve the issues as smoothly and seamlessly as possible. When the project was completed in THREE WEEKS, (well in advance of the 4-6 week estimate) we were delighted, with both the work and the outcome! Definitely recommend Anderson Design!

I was in dire straights after the dreaded â water pipe leakâ and demolition took out half of my 50-year-old kitchen. Anderson Design responded promptly to my request, and was able to work around my busy work schedule to meet with me. They listened to my wants and budget and made no pressure suggestions. The mobile showroom was a huge time saver. The work was first rate. It began on time and was completed ahead of schedule. The entire team went over and above my expectations. They kept the worksite clean and were very courteous. Any questions or concerns I had were immediately addressed. The result of the project was better than I had imagined. As a quality assurance contractor in a different field, I know good work when I see it. I would not hesitate to use Anderson Design on future projects, and I would highly recommend the team to anyone looking for a low stress, highly professional remodel.

Anderson Design remodeled most of our house; kitchen, flooring, paint, and much needed fixes. Being new to the remodeling business, we contacted several contractors for bids and ideas. Ultimately, we chose Anderson Design because of Jason. The man is relentless he guided us through the maze of the remodeling process, explained every step of the way, and provided much needed design ideas. We have a child with special needs; therefore, we had to move out of the house during the remodeling process. As the project progressed, Jason kept us updated with all the latest developments. The house needed a lot of work: the kitchen was gutted and the ceiling was raised to make it more open; the linen closet was transformed to a functional space for linens and working/charging station; all the floors were replaced with beautiful quality VPF; the staircase was custom made and is an amazing artistic addition to the main living area; the house was completely painted, and the color scheme is fresh and modern. Like any typical construction project, stuff happens; however, Jason proven to be very resourceful and innovative in coming up with great solutions. Jason did whatever it took to get the job done and do it right. The house is unrecognizable Jason made us love our house again. From an old falling-apart property to a dream home.

We contacted several contractors for bids before we started a once-in-a-lifetime major renovation of our home (kitchen, 2 baths, flooring, lighting, electrical, etc.). We had never embarked on a renovation of this magnitude and it was quite intimidating considering the many reports of problem contractors that are on the news. We were most interested in meeting with Anderson Design based upon their reviews and recommendations and decided to schedule them last. Thank God we did! The Anderson Design team sat down with us, listened to our vision, offered suggestions and got to know how we use the spaces as a family. With this in mind, they came up with a spectacular living area and bathrooms all within budget! The other companies we interviewed couldn’t even come close. Anderson’s mobile show room made it easy to pick out colors and styles and envision how they would look in our home. They ended up transforming a 45-year old tract home into the home of our dreams! The Anderson Design team worked tirelessly to deliver top quality work well within established deadlines. The team was not only professional and courteous, but also friendly and willing to go the extra mile. We are avid jigsaw puzzlers, so they even designed and built a special nook for our puzzle boards in the kitchen island cabinetry to allow easy access while keeping everything out of sight – outstanding! They went above and beyond to make sure we were pleased every step of the way. No issue was beyond what they could handle – and they ran in to a few! Most people vacate their home while this level of renovation occurs, however that was not an option for us. The Anderson Design team worked with us to ‘live around’ the chaos of construction as much as possible. Everyone was very respectful of us, our home and possessions. We would like to extend a huge thank you to the whole Anderson team! Based upon the entire process as well as the final result, we highly recommend Anderson Design for any project. I am very pleased with our newly renovated kitchen! From the initial consultation to completion, it was very easy to work with Jason. The work began promptly as discussed and ended within the timeframe provided. Very knowledgeable and informative, his expertise and guidance was highly valued throughout the process. I am very picky about what I like and don't like, and Jason made suggestions that I would never thought of. He was open to revisions, but very frank about changes he did not believe would work as intended, and this was much appreciated. Also appreciated was his commitment to having the work performed correctly by his crew. There were a couple of "evolutions" in the reconstruction that did not meet his standards and the necessary corrections were made. Jason takes pride in his work and it is evident he enjoys the craft, as he performed some of the intricate installation himself. I've heard one too many horror stories about home construction projects, and this one was not without a couple hiccups. However, I never lost a moment of rest with Jason and my kitchen. I would recommend Anderson Design to my friends without hesitation, as I believe in their work, and don't make such referrals lightly. Thanks Jason!

Jason did an amazing job on our kitchen remodel. I needed him to come out and one of the doors had a blemish on it and he replaced it. While he was there he noticed another door he didn't like. He replaced it too. This guy will not quit until you are completely satisfied. I would recommend this company to anybody. This is the guy you want to do your remodel. My recommendations are not something I do lightly. I promise you will not be disappointed .

We had a wonderful experience working with Anderson Design. Our kitchen is beautiful and we are so happy with the work. The project was done before the estimated timeline - which was amazing as we have three small children! We met with two other contracting companies, but knew we wanted to work with Anderson Design from the beginning of our first meeting. They came to our home and after listening to our ideas, they offered some more options that we hadn't even thought of and worked extremely hard to stay within our budget. The communication was excellent. Whenever we had a question, it was always answered extremely quickly - usually within an hour! Any concerns we had were addressed quickly and they resolved unforeseen hiccups without a problem. I would like to thank the Anderson Design team for our dream kitchen. From our initial meeting I had a good feeling about this company. They spent a good amount of time listening to our ideas and offered up options we never considered. The bidding process was detailed and efficient, every aspect of the project was laid out and priced. By the end of the meeting we knew exactly what the design would look like and had a complete timeline and budget. The project involves removing a wall, turning a peninsula into an island and adding more cabinets to the original footprint. I never considered an island as I thought it wasn’t possible or cost prohibitive but the Anderson Design team made that part look easy. On the first day, the team arrived early and they took great care to protect the other parts of our home. Every day we came home to progress. The communication is terrific and you can expect daily updates. For as much work that was done we were amazed at how smooth everything went and how quickly they finished, beating the timeline from our bid and proposal. We could not be happier with the outcome. The team is very passionate about what they do and they made us feel like we were their only client. They sincerely want you to be happy throughout the entire process and especially with the results.

I am so glad I hired Anderson Design for my kitchen and master bathroom remodel. This company’s expert crews are specialized and professional. Jason Anderson’s design for both rooms exceeded my expectations. For example, they turned my old-fashioned kitchen into a modern showpiece by knocking out walls to open my kitchen and putting in cost-saving and efficient equipment. They helped me choose the best and newest appliances and putting in an island makes my kitchen efficient. My kitchen is now a joy to use everyday. Also, my old bathroom is now an elegant spa that I spend hours in. It is bigger, with a curbless shower, floating toilet, and luxurious jacuzzi tub. Jason did an amazing job on our kitchen we have more room than we ever thought was possible. When he inspected his work and he saw something he didn't like he would be correct it immediately. When ever we had any questions he would get back to us right away. My wife loves her new kitchen and she couldn't be happier. They were courteous professional and finished on time. Jason A. is the most honest, respectful, humble man I have had the privilege of doing business with. I am a retired contractor with 40 years of doing business. Schedule, Price, and Honesty (1000 sq ft renovation). When looking for a design / build firm and general contractor, those three words should be top of the list. Jason - and Anderson Design - meets all three at the highest level. From design, through architecture / engineering and city permitting, to ripout and construction, Anderson Design was a pleasure to work with. Jason walked through the vision with my wife and I, brought samples of virtually every fit and finish to our house, and assembled a fully-burdened budget. Aside from upgrades that I selected during the build, that budget was met exactly, with no change orders. Jason even covered one missed item at no cost or hassle to us. Our project covered 1000 square feet, including a structural wall removal, one new wall install, new services throughout (plumbing, electrical, lighting, etc.), and all new flooring, windows, doors, etc. He has contacts to order and secure on-time everything that we needed, including the upgrades that we wanted. Work started on time and continued in a timely fashion until completion. He even sent some workers out to do touch-up projects that I found after project completion (at no cost to us). Every project has bumps in the road, and ours was no exception. Jason did everything reasonable to keep the project moving. For this scope of renovation, completion (ripout to cleanup) in just over two months is nearly unheard of, but that is what I was delivered. As a detail-oriented engineer with knowledge of nearly every part of the job that our renovation entailed, I lived on-sight and was a constant source of quality assurance. Every detail that I brought to his attention was immediately rectified to my satisfaction. I cannot imagine finding a design/build firm that would best Anderson Design in the combination of Schedule, Price, and Honesty.

We contracted Anderson Designs for an extensive remodel of kitchen (including installation of all new built-in appliances) and two bathrooms, new Milgard windows throughout, and install of a new Milgard Tuscany 13 foot slider (original scope of work). Scope of work was extended to include removal of existing window shutters, new interior paint and texture (some walls and ceilings), 3 new ceiling fan installations, new outlets with USB chargers throughout, new switches/dimmers throughout, 3 new bath fan installations, new interior paint throughout, demo and prep of all closets (for installation of future closet systems and doors), new base boards throughout, new interior/exterior door casings and jams, replacement of all interior and exterior door handles, installation of new front door, new exterior stucco and paint trim throughout. Major crew members on our project: Mark (foreman/plumber/construction/do-it-all extraordinaire), Nevin (Jason's other do-it-all assistant), Eddie & Junior (construction), Art (plumbing), Mr. Tony (framing), Dave (electrician), Carlos (quartz fabricator/installer), Victor & son (stucco), Bill/Christian/Adon (window installers), Omar & Agustine (tiling), Ivan & Sebastian (cabinets), Jeremy (Dixieland for front door & handles) Feb. 7 - Initial Design Consultation (3 hrs). We met with the company owner, Jason Anderson. They are definitely not your usual design and build firm plus Jason has a mobile showroom which was a converted bus. We immediately saw the passion Jason had for his company and vision we had for our home. We talked about scope of work, goals, and budget. We also talked about the other contractors we interviewed before him; all were less than stellar experiences with an independent contractor as well as two other well known and expensive San Diego design-build firms (L*** and M*******). Jason saved us many times during our renovation but there was one instance that really stands out. Before we hired Anderson Design, we purchased a beautiful gray porcelain wood-look tile and coordinated install with a popular local company (M**** F*******). I have nothing but praise for Marco who installed the tile; he did a beautiful job. However, the experience with the base board installers was a complete disaster (by the way, we were told that these base board installers do not install door casings; this was a surprise to Jason). Keep in mind, these installers are subcontracted by the flooring store. After Jason saw the first days work of baseboard install, he could not believe the horrible job they were doing. He sent us numerous pictures and contacted the flooring store absolutely livid. The flooring store brushed off Jasons complaint with no resolution. This was becoming a stressful situation but again Jason stepped in. We ended up fir

Working with Jason from Anderson Design was a true pleasure. Right away we were impressed with the amount of detail that went into our kitchen remodel quote. My wife and I were able to see an exact breakdown of costs per task and were able to gauge how fair each price was per task. We ended up hiring on the day of the quote. Definitely one thing that I found very refreshing was Jason's complete willingness to work with us on how some of the tasks were going to be accomplished. My wife and I decided to do the demo portion of the remodel and also took care of the flooring during the rebuild. There was zero pressure to use one of his subcontractors for the work we desired to take care of ourselves. And Jason was very flexible with working around our schedules for completing the tasks. Once work started, we were in daily contact with Jason. He was very responsive to any questions/concerns we had during the remodel. There were a few bumps along the way with the subcontractors that had come out to work on the remodel (some lumpy spots in the drywall, couple chipped glass tiles on the back splash, etc), nothing major...but Jason was very receptive to our concerns and made sure anything that wasn't perfect was rectified quickly. We are now finishing up the remodel with the need to complete some minor tasks (installing cabinet hardware, door adjustments, etc) and our kitchen is looking beautiful! After 17 years of tenant occupancy, our home was in need of major remodeling. Our property manager suggested Anderson Design, Inc. Jason Anderson personally assumed the role of our project manager. Jason was very enthusiastic about our remodeling project right from the beginning. At our first consultation, he spent 7 hours designing a new kitchen, master bathroom, full guest bathroom and powder room. Jason also planned the budget for the project at that time. He had brought an awesome design truck where we shopped around for tile, countertops, cabinets, cabinet hardware, even a kitchen sink and accompanying faucet. By the conclusion of our first consultation with Jason, we had in hand a creative design for our needs, major products selected, a budget and a contract. During the second consultation, Jason helped me to select all of the products we needed to purchase ourselves. He provided a list of vendors, make and model numbers and estimated cost for items such as bathroom sinks, vanity lights, etc. I found his assistance with this invaluable since the process can be quite over whelming. The following day, Mark, our site manager, was at our home with his staff and began demolition. Mark was an excellent site manager. As an example, when there was a water mishap, he and his staff responded quickly and efficiently to mitigate the situation and prevent a potential disaster. As the weeks moved along, each of the teams of craftsmen came through to contribute their expertise to the project. Each member of all of the teams was friendly, eager to please and conscientious. The end result of each teams craftsmanship was a beautiful home. The scope of the project was quite large but Jason and Mark kept the schedule tight for completion in a timely manner. The conclusion of the project was a good experience with Jason and Mark making sure that all last minute details were addressed quickly and efficiently. We love these guys! Our old kitchen was a total embarrassment until we hired Anderson Design. Mr Anderson and his top notch team worked wonders in our home. Our new kitchen looks fabulous, with all new modern cabinets, counter tops, plus the awesome new island! Now we are proud to have dinner parties at our home. Right from the beginning of my project, Jason gave me some great design ideas and made me feel comfortable that he had my best interests at heart. His fees were reasonable and he was always in contact with me throughout my project. I liked how he detailed costs so I could see exactly what I was paying for and he completed my remodel within my specified time frame. The completion deadline was tight but he was able to coordinate everything and got it done! There were a few minor issues that came up during the course of my job but he was always prompt in both response and resolution. He is the best! I love my new kitchen and floors and I'm thrilled to report that I didn't have to sacrifice quality for a project that was completed quickly and professionally! After years of researching contractors and kitchen renovations, we decided to work with Anderson Design. We had the pleasure of working with Mr. Jason Anderson on our kitchen renovation in October of 2016. I highly recommend him and his company without reservation. Throughout the course of the renovation, Jason was professional, flexible, and extremely patient with us. Jason spent countless hours working with us in designing our dream and functional kitchen. Our job was done with care and precision. His team kept the construction areas clean and tidy. We have two young children so they made it a priority to ensure that there were no safety hazards. Communication is a huge priority for us and we are happy to say that Jason communicated with us regarding everything throughout the process which made it less stressful for us. We first called Anderson Design early summer of 2016 while we were gathering information and bids to remodel our original 1927 kitchen in Coronado. We have lived in the house for 30 years, and finally decided to bite the bullet and remodel. After talking with several people and friends, getting bids etc. we decided to hire Anderson Design, largely based on the initial interviews with the owner, Jason Anderson and the numerous positive reviews. The Anderson Design bid was complete, had no suprises, and Jason himself was extremely responsive, enthusiastic, creative and easy to work with. Jason suggested draftsman and structural engineers who did excellent work at reasonable prices and took care of the entire permitting process. Jason thought the work would be done in 8 weeks (I thought it would be a wee bit longer) and it was, largely because the stove I ordered (Blue Star) took longer than anticipated to be built and delivered to San Diego. After 12 weeks I has an absolutely stunning new kitchen that has all of the features I wanted. Working with Jason was a dream. His subcontracters were all polite, professional and easy to have in our home. When there were problems, as invariably there are, Jason held all of the subs accountable and work was redone to his satisfaction and ours. Because our home was old we encountered some unique challenges (lathe and plaster walls, old wiring etc that wouldn't accomodate lights I had ordered for instance.) Jason ALWAYS came up with creative solutions. One example, I was worried about water dunning off a counter, so Jason designed a custom draining system utilizing a long French drain. When the "appliance lifter" for my food processor couldn't be installed because of the cabinet size Jason built one himself that is amazing. Jason listed to all of my ideas, made changes and was flexible during the entire process. He returned phone calls and texts immediately and managed all aspects of the project in a professional manner. My husband and I are so pleased with the quality of the materials used, the workmanship and our beautiful new kitchen. Thank you Jason and team!
