The company was very quick to respond to my request, letting me know that it was too large of a job for them right now. Very nice, very professional and very prompt. I would definitely ask them again should the need arise in the future for a different type of job. The request was for a complete remodel (down to the studs) of a 1930's era house with a newer addition and a questionable "dry concrete" slab and foundation.

Went wonderfully!!! Fantastic crew and very easy to work with. Extremely neat and punctual!! Very professional. Done in a week. We appreciated the way he quickly resolved a small issue that came up. Jeff kept us informed of every step and what was planned daily. Jeff gave lots of tips and ideas for our project. He is coming back in August to do a complete master bedroom shower remodel with tile flooring and toilet. Highly recommend.

ATeam removed an old pergola over our rear patio and removed and replaced a 60' wooden fence. The old structures were removed without a trace. At the end of each day of work the property was left spotless. The work was completed a couple of days early. The new fence looks wonderful, including small architectural touches not present in the original. The team was courteous and professional. I highly recommend ATeam.

The A Team gave us a detailed contract for all work, as well as a schedule for completion. The work started exactly on time, and finished as promised. The work was superb. The new shower in the master bath had a built in bench and built in niches for soap, shampoo, etc. Jeff, the owner of the A Team, assisted us in the selection of the new cabinets, quartz counter tops, wall and floor tiles, plumbing fixtures, paint and other materials. Jeff and his crew arrived on time every morning and worked straight through each day. They always cleaned up at the end of each day, and kept tile dust and similar dirt to a minimum. The entire job took almost two months. There was a little delay with the guest bathroom because the mirror subcontractor damaged the first mirror, but Jeff kept on top of things and had a replacement mirror expedited. We couldn't be happier with the A Team. I most highly recommend them for any remodeling work. Their web page shows the beauty and quality of their work.

The project went very well, A-Team started and completed the project on schedule, they were very professional and completed the project without any surprises. I would definitely use A-Team again in the future.

Jeff Raleigh and his crew started the job on the day scheduled, and arrived on-time every day of the two weeks. Work was completed ahead of the contract schedule and to our complete satisfaction. Jeff and his assistant, Angel, were very professional, informative and friendly. Jeff told us what was to be done each day. He had good suggestions on choices we needed to make. The plumber and electrician completed their work as scheduled. A-Team made sure to leave the work area secured each day and not to disrupt the family's daily activities. Two small problems were corrected immediately. The family is very happy with the new bathroom. I strongly recommend A-Team Residential Remodeling and have started discussing a future project with Jeff.

We found Jeff through Angie's list when we wanted to remodel our second floor kids' bathroom. Jeff responded to a phone message we left and provided us with a quote. The whole process was very easy and we always got straight answers to our questions. After obtaining a couple of other quotes, we went with A-Team remodeling. Overall, I would rate the whole process and the end product from Jeff's team as outstanding. Jeff also helped us with picking the right material (Granite, plumbing, etc) for the job. Not only did they arrive on time each day, but they were also professional and cleaned up and left everything in its place each evening. I would highly recommend A-Team for your remodeling jobs.

He promised us to have it done in 2 weeks, since it was our only bathroom and he came within a day or two. He was very professional, showing up every morning to inform us of the days work and ask and answer any questions we had about the work. They tried very hard to keep dust to a minimum and cleaned up daily. They worked from 7:30 to 4: 00 each day. After they were done the sink faucet dripped and there was a leak under the sink and a few very minor concerns..Jeff, the owner was back immediately to remedy the problems, faulty hardware on the sink.. He was not satisfied until we were satisfied. I would highly recommend him and his team.

Jeff was quite prompt about getting me a bid on a Saturday and was flexible enough to schedule the job for the following Tuesday. He was knowledgeable about how to do the job (cut out the stucco, frame the door, put up plywood boards to stabilize the wall, create a platform for users to go over the 12" stem wall from inside the garage) and didn't try to oversell me like another provider tried to do (who tried to make it a four-day job!). He was patient and listened to what I wanted. He had the job done in less than one day with the help of another contractor. I know he made a good profit on the job, but I wanted it done right and in a specific time frame. Now I'm just happy I can get to my back yard from inside the garage without going all the way around the house.

It went great... I was able to rely on Jeff Raleigh's professionalism, honesty and responsiveness throughout the whole project. The finished remodel is really amazing, from the exquisite tile work to the quartz counters, all A-Team members work - top of the line. The stumbling blocks and unforeseen hurtles, included cabinetry not being available due to extremely lengthy back orders. Jeff quickly shifted gears and we moved forward with IKEA cabinets which were in stock for immediate installation. The team demonstrated their flexibility getting these assembled and in place with very pleasing results. As a new comer to San Diego it was very reassuring to feel I could put my complete trust in the A-Team. There was no doubt they would get the remodeling completed with a minimum of stress for me and in a first class manner. I appreciate finding them on Angie's List and would highly recommend Jeff Raleigh's contracting services to any Angie's List members.

After meeting with Jeff, the owner, it was clear that he was the best person for the job. Not only were his Angie's list reviews stellar, he had the most creative and affordable ideas to build my "dream master bath." He was incredibly affable and easy to work with -- welcoming my input and suggestions that he integrated into the renovation. He was eager to start the project and within a few days a received a quote well within my budget. Compared to other bids, he had the best price -- with further suggestions on how to save money but not sacrifice the look I desired for the room. The build team arrived promptly every morning, protected the house against dust and dirt, and cleaned up after themselves every day. The guys on-site were polite, respectful, and professional. Jeff came to the job site every day with a game plan, and always asked if I had questions or concerns. He communicated work progress on a daily basis, and was on top of making sure any other subs or vendors got their jobs done on time as well. They finished on time and on budget with excellent quality and craftsmanship. I was so impressed with the paint job that I had them paint my adjoining bedroom, and have already schedule additional projects. Jeff and his team are the real deal -- honest, hard-working craftsmen who can do it all at an affordable price. Highly recommend.

My husband and I wanted to add a playroom addition to our home for our daughter. My father is a member on Angie's List so he reviewed over 280 different contractors trying to find the best one to build an addition onto my home. My husband and I met with 6 different companies that we chose out of the 280. I am a real pain to some of these places because I like to question everything and if I don't like something or think something is wrong or incorrect I will say something. It's my money right? I've contacted the BBB before about a company and I have no problem doing so again. My expectations are extremely high and I am hard to please 100%. I figure it's my home and my money so the job better be perfect. I just had my entire house remodeled so I've dealt with a ton of contractors and have never been 100% impressed. UNTIL the A-Team came along. Jeff came out and bid on our project and was straight forward from the start. No BS, no hidden costs, just 100% honest. His price was $20,000 plus LOWER than the other 5 companies that we had interviewed. His team came and worked from early in the morning till the evening including some Saturdays. They were the greatest group of guys! Like I said before I ask a lot of questions and these guys had no problem explaining every single step to me. They never made me feel stupid whenever I asked about something that was probably simple to them. Jeff (the owner) came by every single day as well which I was extremely impressed by. Just because he owns the company doesn't mean he just sits back and collects money. He's out there everyday checking on the job, getting supplies, helping his team do the work, etc. Jeff also would call me weekly and just let me know what was on the schedule for the coming week and what would be worked on. His crew was on time EVERY day and they were the greatest, nicest guys! I have a 2 year old and they always would say hi to her and talk to her. It was great! She was so excited every morning when they would come over. Jeff and his team were able to do the job within our budget AND completed the work a MONTH early!!!!! The job was flawless!!! Trust me I check everything! I couldn't be more happy with our new addition. I love the job they did! They were professional, friendly, on time, cleaned up everything at the end of everyday and were a joy to work with. I am going to eventually remodel my master bathroom and I am so grateful that I don't have to worry about searching for the right team to do the job. The A-Team IS the best team. I can 100% guarantee you will be very pleased with any job, big or small, that they do for you!! I cant say enough about this company. Everyone always told me that when working with contractors you always need to add more money to whatever they quoted you and then add a couple more months to the time they said they would complete the job. Master craftsmen, attention to detail, congenial contractor with helpful ideas, great communication cause me to gladly recommend the A-Team for remodeling jobs. The A-Team has remodeled a small bathroom into a masterpiece (their suggestions made a pleasant difference), created another masterpiece with a living room custom wood fireplace mantle and shadow box for a picture above, as well as installing 6 vinyl windows. Not all at the same time ? my wife supervised the ?powder room? remodel ? when I saw the quality of the work (and met the craftsmen), I realized ?this was the team? I wanted to do my projects (I must admit I am kind of picky). With a contractor crew I know I can work with and rely on for an excellent finish, I am now making a list of more refinements to my 1970?s home. When it came to designing the wood fireplace mantle, many ideas were exchanged as the custom design came into being ? however, the feature that causes me to smile as I glance at the mantle ? is the tile that covers the section on the floor and outlines the opening ? a splendid slate-pattern tile (each tile has a different pattern) from Arizona tile ? Jeff, the supervisor guided me to the porcelain tile explaining how slate (which I really wanted) was so hard to work with. Well, the end result is better than I envisioned ? and a big thank you to the master wood craftsman who made sure each and every detail was just so and to the tile layer who thought it all through and finished the masterpiece. It is with great pleasure that I provide this consumer review for the A-Team Residential Remodeling. Working with Jeff Raleigh and his talented crew was a thoroughly magnificent experience. After interviewing at least five other contractors for my condo remodel in La Jolla, I knew Jeff was the best person for the job. He was one of the few who actually showed up on time for the initial appointment. Since this was to be a complete teardown, there was a lot to go over. I especially appreciated that he did not rush me along. Jeff was most receptive to my concerns regarding budget, possible unforeseen costs, and the fact that I would be up in the Bay Area throughout the entire project. Absolutely no worries! Over the course of the project, Jeff constantly kept me updated on the progress via photos, e-mails, phone calls, and text messages, He takes a great deal of pride in his work, and made sure that I was pleased with the results... step by step. Jeff and his dedicated team did an amazing job; truly beyond my expectations. The results were simply extraordinary- stunning color choices and patterns on the granite, backsplash, flooring, tile, cabinets, fixtures, doors, lighting, and paint. I feel very fortunate to have found Jeff... a brilliant craftsman with innate artistic abilities. I would use him again in a heartbeat!

Our home was built in 1938 and we wanted to maintain the intergity of the home with the bathroom remodels. We had done considerable research and thought we had a pretty good idea of what we wanted done, a reasonable timeline, the scope of the work and cost of the project. We initially set up an appointment in our home with A-Team based on their reputation on Angie's List. We instantly clicked with Jeff. He was prompt, professional and knowledgeable regarding the scope of bathroom remodels in a 75 year old house. Within a week he presented us with a contract that included costs for labor, electrical, plumbing and miscellanous construction costs. The estimate did not include cabinets, plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures or accessories, which is exactly how we wanted it to control the cost and quality of the materials. The contract was clear, concise and included a managable payment schedule. There was no guess work or grey areas, we knew exactly what to expect for the 6 weeks of the project. Due to our travel schedule, we scheduled the start date for 2 months from the signing of the contract. The A-Team crew showed up on the start date, on time, ready to start. They were professional, efficient, cooperative and created a cohesive work environment for the next 7 weeks. They took every effort to minimize the impact of the project on the rest of the house, at the end of each work day the work area was cleaned, tools put away. They managed the project so there were at all times facilities available allowing us to remain living in the house during the remodel. Once into the project there were some unexpected issues pertaining to original plumbing and electrical as would be anticipated in an old house. Jeff and his crew were able and willing to take on the extra projects without missing a beat. We also added to the scope of the project once underway, which added only one week to the completion, remarkable! We could not be happier with the outcome. The bathrooms are beautiful and efficient. We would highly recommend Jeff Raleigh's A-Team and his crew for any home project. The project was completed within our timeline, budget and exceeded our expectations. We are planning on doing some additional remodeling in the coming year and will be calling on them again.

I found Jeff and A-Team Remodeling through Angie's List and was not disappointed. From the first time I met with Jeff he was professional, knowledgable and easy to work with. I was initially just planning to have my master bathroom remodeled, but Jeff and his guys did such a great job that I decided to go ahead and have them remodel my second bathroom as well. This was the first time I have ever undertaken a remodeling of this magnitude so I was a little overwhelmed, but Jeff was extremely helpful. He helped me with the design of my bathrooms, showed me photos of his previous jobs, and helped me pick out the materials, such as the tiles, cabinets, and countertop. They ripped out my old 1980's fiberglass tub, sinks, and cabinets and replaced them with an all new tub, tile, and custom cabinets and quartz countertop, in addition to painting and installing new fixtures. My master bathroom now looks like a spa and I love it! Jeff and his crew were always on time, they were professional and friendly, cleaned up every night before they left, and the quality of the work they performed was extremely good. I live in a condo and have had issues with my neighbors and the HOA during previous remodeling projects, but I did not receive a single complaint about Jeff or his guys from anyone in my building ...which says a lot! It was clear that Jeff takes a lot of pride in his work. I definitely felt that the quality of work A-Team preformed was well worth the money, and I will use them again for future projects. Jeff and his guys were super easy to work with and I would recommend A-Team to anyone looking to upgrade their home.

Remodeling a house is always a time of excitement and trepidation and I can't imagine taking this journey with anyone better than Jeff and his team. We had spent many hours talking, dreaming and planning about what we wanted to do. Then we contacted several general contractors for estimates. Jeff, the owner of A Team, came to our home and had an estimate for us within a short period of time. We wanted a contractor that would be responsive, knew the business, would provide quality work, and was willing to work with us. It was obvious that Jeff met our needs and his excellent reviews on Angie's List tipped him over the edge. As the name of his business implies, for the most part Jeff has his own team. Jeff subbed out the marble counter tops, brick work, and plumbing, but he and his team did most of the work. There was a wide range in the scope of work - wallpaper removal to building the tray ceiling in the master bedroom. Some of the work was tedious and laborious, as in the wallpaper and tile removal. Other jobs took skill and an eye for detail, as in the tile work, crown moulding, and wall texturing. Jeff and his team were up to each task. There are always unknowns when beginning a remodeling project and we had our share of surprises, but Jeff was always there at our side to discuss them and find the best solution for us. If he isn't on site, he answers his cell phone promptly. At one point during the changing of some of our old roof shingles for new, the roof was exposed and rain suddenly appeared. Very unusual for San Diego. I called Jeff and he was quickly at the house to cover the exposed area with tarps. This is just a small example of his responsiveness. We didn't make any major changes in our original plans, but ideas did pop up, either on our part or Jeff's. He was very flexible, whether the new idea involved a bathroom window or an additional electrical outlet. The customer's wishes are the number one priority for Jeff and he worked hard to fulfill our desires. It was a pleasure to work with Jeff and his team and I would highly recommend them to anyone considering a remodeling project.

A-TEAM Their name says it all! From the very begining A-Team seperated itself from the other general contractors we interviewed. Professional, but personable, the whole crew had a genuine interest in producing the very best results possible. A-Team is a company willing to listen to your ideas but more importantly they're commited to bringing those ideas into reality. A-Team planned out the projects in detail and worked tirelessly to stay on schedule often completing jobs ahead of time. If ever anything unexpected required adjustments they were in contact imediately with multiple options spelled out including costs and even with a few surprises they finished the projects on time. The whole experience with A-Team was better then I could have imagined and the work they did exceed anything I thought possible for the price. A great company with great people, I wouldn't hesitate to call them for anything related to residential remodeling.

No Call / No Show by A-Team

My daughter used A-Team for her bathroom remodel and this is her review: I received multiple estimates for my bathroom remodel, and ultimately selected A-Team, and I would absolutely use A-Team again. Not only is the owner easy to work with, he has a solid team behind him. Owner, Jeff Raleigh, was very helpful in discussing design and providing guidance as I selected materials. We stayed on schedule and within budget, and he and his team executed the project beautifully. I am very happy with the results and the entire process, from estimate to project completion. The team was conscientious, timely, respectful, reliable, and clean/tidy. Additionally, working with Jeff was easy because communication was clear (schedule, money, recommendations, etc.). I highly recommend A-Team. Work performed: Removed fixtures. Removed shower walls, curb and bathroom floor. Cleaned and repaired wall structure. Framed in shower for 3 nitches, installed framing to border shower stall and build shower curb. Installed all new plumbing, drains, and trap. Hot mopped shower pan and curb. Installed new sub-floor for bathroom floor. Insulated walls and installed moisture barrier. Installed new den shield shower wall board. Tiled shower surround, curb, shower floor and bathroom floor. Grouted and sealed all new tile and installed threshold. Installed bull nose 3? tile as new baseboards. Textured, primed and painted walls and ceiling. Trimmed window and door casings. Re-installed fixtures. Also connected venting to 3 different vent fans and tied into roof vents.

This was our first remodel job so didn't know what to expect. After researching reviews on Angie's List, I emailed Jeff at A-Team and he responded the same day. We met soon after and went over the details, cost, and time-frame. He listened carefully to what I wanted and offered suggestions. The job began the day after Memorial Day. The crew arrived exactly on time every day, was respectful of our home, and cleaned up at the end of each day. Jeff was here daily to discuss any questions or concerns I had and was constantly in touch with his crew as to issues and progress. He is a delight to work with! The bottom-line: every detail, every idea, and every job was accomplished to perfection. The new bathroom is a work of art and I couldn't have had a more positive first experience with a contractor. I would recommend Jeff and the A-Team to anyone interested in quality work, a professional, respectful, and responsive attitude, and someone with great ideas who is truly interested in making the remodel exactly what the home-owner envisions. Contacted the company via e-mail and receive a follow-up phone call to scheduled an appointment. On April 9th, the owner arrived as scheduled, but appeared to be in a hurry. He didn't seem to be prepared as he asked me the purpose of our meeting. I explained that I wanted a complete remodel of a half bath downstairs and a remodel of the upstairs bath minus tub and enclosure. The entire appointment was over in about 20 mins and consisted of speaking in generalities and taking a few pictures with a I-pad. I thought this was odd especially after his reviews spoke of him seeking input and offering recommendations. I was promised a quote by the end of the week which surprised me because measurements were never taken and although I prepared specifics, they were never discussed. On April 19th after not receiving the promised quote, I contacted the company via e-mail to see if there had been an oversight or maybe my contact information wasn't correct. I was provided a plausible excuse and told that if I still wanted a quote, one would be provided. I responded that I was still interested but in return I received an e-mail stating something to the effect that they couldn't do the job. While there wasn't anything specifically said or done, I sensed from the initial meeting that there was a hesitancy to do the job, for what ever reason. This was the first contractor I used off Angie's List and I have to say, contrary to all the advertisement the site does, this experience hasn't convinced me my money was well spent.

This is the second time that Jeff has done work for me. He and his crew are always on time and professional. The job was done in two days and the patio looks so much better. I'm very happy with the results.
