Someone to come into my home, know what I want to keep, calmly and painlessly remove everything else, being careful to find long lost items, and put it all back together. In a few days!! Amazing!! This was the POSSIBLE dream. I Should have hired Jan years ago and saved a lot of time, money, heartache and embarrassment. She is the ultimate Professional, logical, flexible, energetic and trustworthy. She had great ideas and resources and most important she did not judge or make assumptions about anything. Jan was mindful of the costs and arranged her schedule to meet an impossible time line. We had a clear written plan. Tasks were completed each day and I was not inconvenienced or uncomfortable during the process. I never thought my life could change so dramatically, easily and quickly. I have a wonderful experience each time I come home, and each morning when I wake up. Jan's work has been indispensable in getting my life back on track. You may even enjoy the experience.
Description of Work: De-constructed 7 areas of the home and the patio.(1400 square feet). Hired capable and tremendously hard working subcontractors. Several years' worth of documents, bills, receipts, mail etc. Sorted, organized, filed. Careful to protect privacy and financial, shredded documents with personal information. Achieved my goal of a 75% reduction of all STUFF. Clothes, sports and crafts gear, books, office clutter, small unused furniture, closet doors, electronics, tools,and much more. Project was evaluated and completed within 2 week deadline ! Well worth the investment.

I was hesitant to bite the bullet and bring in an organizer (who wants to bring someone into a messy home?), but I was feeling desperate and really wanted to get the job tackled. Jan was extremely energetic, personable, and nonjudgmental. She learned my goals and desires, was careful to organize things according to my way of thinking ("here would you look for this?") and not hers, so my home is organized AND I can find things after she leaves. She didn't push me to do anything I didn't want to do (throw everything away, for example) and had just the right amount of motivation. I trusted her integrity and discretion in dealing with every little personal thing in my home, and feel confident in that trust. She is punctual, conscientious, and diligent. I recommend her with confidence.
Description of Work: De-cluttered and organized entire home and garage, including inside cupboards, shelves, etc. After the project was complete, all surface areas and floors were clear, files were created and filed away, household items were organized in exactly the way I would look for them, and there was a process in place to keep things in order. I thought it was a big job, but she says she has had MUCH bigger!
