I called during the holidays and so it took about a week before David could look at our trees. He was right on time for his 8am appointment. He made several excellent suggestions for shaping some of the trees and keeping our Eugenia filled in to form a hedge between properties. I think he is/was a firefighter and he was able to address my concerns about creating a defensible space for potential fires in the canyon adjacent to our property. He had a quote to me by email the within the day and we were able to schedule for the next week. My daughter had recently had several quotes for tree removal and and I felt that the price was competitive so I accepted their bid without looking for other quotes. David's reviews on Angie's List were superior to the reviews for the service my daughter selected. The workers arrived on time - I think there were a 5 or 6 of them during the course of the day. All very friendly and great about asking questions on how I wanted things done. Cleanup was excellent and all trimmings were hauled away. David was not on-site during the work that I was aware of. He called the next day to make sure I was satisfied with the job and also followed up with an email and invoice.

The answering service was very professional . One of the employees Leslie quickly got in touch with me and came out for an estimate. She stayed for awhile and patiently answered many questions. She was knowledgeable and guided me in my decisions. I received the estimate a day later and David called to set up an appointment. I needed the written permission from my neighbors to allow the workers on their property to pick up debris. David and I exchanged several emails and texts and he replied quickly. I didn't need to be home. When I returned the crew had finished and left . Then did a great job of cleaning up and the trimming was comfortably conservative instead of shocking. They do offer a discount if you are a senior or mention their web site.

I called for an estimate and a person came out within a day to look at the property. Work was scheduled shortly after that. Three workers came promptly, worked quickly, cleaned the area and took away all the debris. They were very professional and did an excellent job. I'd definitely hire them again. The estimate was excellent and we were very pleased with the entire process.

By Thursday of that week, they had come out and removed the tree while my husband and I were at work. They did such a wonderful job, and the yard was extremely clean, with no sign of a 25 foot tree ever being there by the time they were done. There was nothing left but a small stump, no debris, leaves or branches. We were amazed at how quickly they had gotten the job done and at the pristine condition they had left our yard in. I recommend their business to anyone who needs immediate and inexpensive tree removal. I would definitely call them again. A couple of weeks later, all the other company?s I found on Angies List are contacting me regarding my tree estimate inquiry. This is a testament to how great Crown Point Clippers is as a company. Don?t even bother with all the others out there. Crown Point Clippers is the perfect choice.

I have used these folks for four years and have received wonderful service at all times. Either Leslie or David comes to the house and makes a bid and sets a time for the work. The crew arrives on time and does a very professional job. They take care not to damage any other foliage in the area. At the completion of the work clean-up is complete and all trimmings are ground up. I have used this service at another location in Coronado and have been impressed with pleasant professionalism and capability. I will continue to hire David and his crew in the years to come.

Superb. Two men and two trucks arrived on time and set to work. Spent about an hour taking down the tree, grinding the stump and removing debris. Highly professional and thorough. Even used power blower in grassy area around the stump where small debris had blown into the grass. Have used them before and will call them again. Great value for my $200.

I hired Crown Point to remove a overgrown tree on our side hill. They did an exceptional job.

Their estimate was very fair. I am very happy happy with the work. After their work was done, you can't tell where the removed trees were located. There was a shrub that I forgot to add to the estimate and they removed it for no extra charge. I highly recommend this company.

I contacted Crown Point Clippers for an estimate. A woman (I forget her name) came out a day later and talked a big game, seemed very capable and had some nice suggestions. She informed me that she would provide me with a estimate within 24 hours, but I never heard from her. Not a single phone call. After submitting this report, I was contacted by the owner. According to him, the quote had been sent the next day, but the email address was spelled incorrectly so I never received it. I believe a simple follow-up call after the email had been sent would have solved this issue. As a result, I hired another company that I found on Angie's List and they did a great job. The brief interaction I did have with her was decent however.

I've used them the past three or four years. They do a good job and it has always been a very pleasurable experience. They come by and do an estimate and then come and do the work. They do a good job and clean up. Everything is fine.

On the phone, they were pleasant and professional. An appointment was arranged at a convenient time for me. The problem is that they did not show up for the estimate and they did not call to cancel.

Excellent customer service. Staff replied to inquiry via email immediately. Staff was professional and provided an estimate as indicated. Work was completed in a timely and professional manner. All in all a great experience. Provided solutions - not problems!!!

A 2 man crew was sent. They did the job in about an hour and shaped the tree perfectly as we asked for & cleaned up thoroughly. The worker doing the cutting knew what he was doing as opposed to some previous services we used where all they did was hack away without knowing how to properly trim a tree. The crew was about a half hour late & apologized. It would have been helpful to call to indicate they were running behind schedule.

I was extremely pleased with the entire expereince. They promptly returned my initial email, scheduled & conducted the assessment, and returned to actually perform the work. They were incredibly nice throughout the entire process, and their work was top-notch. My only regret is that they were unable to remove one of the tree stumps due to the inability to get the equipment into the specific area.

They showed up on time and were amazingly friendly and polite. They were very quick with their work and did a great quality job. They also did a great clean up when they were finished.

They did a beautiful clean-up job with my trees. They have never looked so good, even when we did them ourselves. I think they are great because they have about 14 years of experience.

They did a real good job, reasonable price. They clean up really well. They were $700 dollars less than other bids. I have also used them in the past with success. They do have a $250 minimum.
