Carly & Co

We had a HORRIBLE experience from being over budget , accused of things we didn't do yelled at by her assistant Dawn, sent nasty emails after we fired them.. They hired an installer to install our entire wall hangings wall sconces, pictures, candles etc.... They then called contractor to stop the work and leave project. They cancelled our furniture already on order and paid for out of spite! carly lied to us on several occasions on purchases they never made leaving us without items. To add to this frustration Carly lost a bid for the drapery work in our home because we already had a lady set up to do this. Carly was so upset by this that she called and falsely reported this lady to the local ASID president of Interior Design causing a ton of project damage. Carly wrongfully accused our drapery designer of providing a discount that she never gave. Tis drapery designer and installer is a very well known , company who has been asked to put her work up as a show case in their fabric stores. She is also hired by many top designers thought San Diego and coastal areas..... GREAT work!!!!! We later find out that Carly Blalock the owner of Carly and Co is not a certified interior designer and in fact never completed school. She relies other students who graduate from school for their certifications. Her previous business partner who walked out on Carly was the one who was a certified interior designer licensed and registered with ASID. Carly is NOT!!! Yet another false misrepresentation. My husband and I had to call the manufactures of some products carly and Dawn ordered because things didn't fit the spaces right. When we called we were told certain items were never ordered and others were back ordered. Carly later calls us up yelling that she didn't appreciate us going behind her back to get information on our project. Carly ordered over 3,000 worth of accessories and half were unused and again wrong size for the space she bought them for. Carly and Dawn would NOT return them or give us the names of those vendors to get us our due credit. . We again did some research on Carly and found her to be doing some Local advertisement claiming that she belongs to ASID and in fact misrepresent herself as a ASID allied member. She never graduated as an interior designer. PLEASE PEOPLE check out who you hire a huge lesson for us! Also check the internet for bad reviews on those you plan to hire save yourself a lot of headache and money!

We hired Carly & Co formerly CEDO Interiro Design for a large home design. Carly and her interns made many mistakes in measurements, colors and design. We realized she was costing us so much money in Design errors which took up a lot of time to correct that we decided not to continue using her services. After careful investigating of this company my husband and I found out that she was not an Allied member of ASID which she claims in many of her advertisements and that she in fact was not at all a graduate from any Interior Design school.
