+ 0 moreHe was very prompt and got here right away. He was a very friendly guy; in fact there was one area that he forgot to do and I had to call him back to come out. He came out the very next morning to fill in the area that he missed. He was very neat and took a long time to do it. I think it took more materials than he originally estimated but he did not charge me any more money. He did a very good job and I will use him again in the future. I thought he was very professional and nice.
Description of Work: I used Mark McCleeary Masonry to fix my chimney and a couple of brick planters that I have around the house. He also replaced the Deck-O-Seal around my pool.

+ 1 moreMark worked our project into his schedule in less than weeks, called the day before to confirm and instruct us how to prepare, and arrived promptly on the job the next morning. His work was completed that same day with precision, expertise, always a kind and pleasant personality, and great clean up afterward. The nature of the application of new deck seal does create some 'mess' with dust and sand, but the end result was well worth it. Mark even filled and corrected a few additional cracks around the pool area. The end result was the new pool edging and concrete slab seams make it look like new! We are very happy with Mark's work and expertise and plan to rehire him for additional patio, deck , and masonry projects in the future.
Description of Work: We have used Mark McCleeary Masonry in the past and were very confident in hiring him again for a different type of work, though also related to his areas of expertise. He responded quickly to our request to come to evaluate & advise us whether or not it was necessary yet to remove & replace old damaged 'deck-o-seal'- around our pool. The seal was breaking away and creating gaps along the side of the pool & concrete slabs. In addition, all the filler material between the concrete slabs on the entire back patio were badly cracked and deteriorating - all of which allowed water to seep into the cracks, creating further damage to the pool deck, patio, and erosion to an adjacent wood deck and slope area. We received 3 other bids for the removal and replacement of deck-o-seal, but Mark's bid was definitely the most competitive. We also trusted him from past experience, that he would advise us honestly whether or not we needed to make this repair a priority at this time, or how long it would be wise to put it off. Based on our trust of Mark's character, along with advise from other friends and neighbors who owned pools, we went ahead with the completion of the work, and are very happy that we did.

+ -1 moreMark and his team responded very quickly and professionally. They worked hard, professionally, always nice and polite. They did beautiful work. They were prompt, kept the schedule we were promised, worked carefully, cleaned up thoroughly, and did high quality work. Not only were they able to correct the flooding & repair our exterior drainage, but made something that was necessary & functional that was also very pretty! The result was a beautiful paver walkway with drains placed in the right locations, but that did not take away from the aesthetics and design. Finally, his prices were very reasonable compared to any other bids we received. We highly trust and recommend Mark McCleeary Masonry and intend to hire him for future projects that need attention and his level of expertise.
Description of Work: Mark responded immediately to our call & came promptly due to the urgency to stop water from coming into the home from improper drainage on the exterior that we were not aware of when we moved in to the home. Mark accessed the situation accurately and gave us several options on how to properly resolve the problem. We were reassured of his qualifications based on his experience level in a variety of situations regarding flooding, water damage; his expertise in drainage and working with various masonry materials; as well as recent local references from others in our neighborhood.
