Jonathan's work was excellent. My sofa felt like I was sitting on a bench for years. It was such a pleasure to finally sit down to watch a movie and sink into my couch. Jonathan picked up the cushions and in a week, returned them. I couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. I will recommend him to anyone looking to reupholster.

The design and the craftsmanship of Jonathan Kim's Design company was superb and better than I have ever imagined. The furnitures that they worked on was extremely detailed with dark Asian reddish/brown color. I am not great with colors, but we wanted it to be restained dark expresso color. Talking to many restoration companies and craftsmen, the general response was it would take several months at an exorbitant cost. When I called and talked directly with Jonathan Kim, he was warm In reception and he offered the work at a reasonable cost and at a reasonable turnaround completion time after reviewing the photos I have provided to him. The costs were half the costs and half the time submitted by some other competitors. I was a bit skeptical but, after visiting our home, he was professional and the company had a large warehouse with multiple craftsmen. Upon receipt of our furnitures, the result was absolutely amazing. They also provided some extra work on some other minor furnitures without charge. In this day and age, who does that? I would recommend Jonathan Kim's Design company, without hesitation to my family, relatives and anyone needing work on their furnitures and such.

Jonathan Kim Designs is a rare company. They take your calls immediately, give you a fair price immediately and deliver an excellent result on time. In our case he refinished some kitchen cabinet drawer fronts and doors with catalyzed varnish. The results were fantastic and he actually delivered a week and a half early. His company also repairs, restores and refinishes large commercial jobs, but he still had time to refinish my 8 cabinet doors/drawers. I would use no other company but his
