If he would have had his workers poor the concrete counter tops properly and polish them to the high gloss, and return phone calls and follow through - I would say it was acceptable. It appears that the sand that was too course and the sealling was not enough. The finished product would look so much better if he would have delivered what he said he would.
Description of Work: Hired to build an outdoor fireplace and barbaque island with the top surfaces to be polished concrete as he had shown us in a picture of work performed. The castings had voids in the, the fireplace mantle had to be painted since it was so bad. We requested numerous times for him to come and repolishe the surfaces to be as polished as we had discussed. This did not occur, he also was suppose to supply a cover for the DCS BBQ and did not. I had to buy one. Ultimately he was already paid in full and would not answer calls, even once hung up on my husband. We got a quote to fix his poor workmanship and it is going to cost us $1,500. He was there when he needed to get paid but never followed through in order to finish the project.
