i can honestly say that I have never had an experience where my expectations were met and exceeded before until now. The job was handled with exceptional coordination and executed with tremendous skill and respect. The preparation work was phenomenal- cracks were sanded and filled, screens were repaired, everything was cleaned and primered. Then the final stage of painting both main color and trim was perfect. The house looks great and my wife and I are very happy. Of course we will bend over backwards to refer you to any of our friends needing painting work.

James Lee and his employees are absolutely professional, trustworthy, and thorough. From estimate through touch up I was truly impressed with their punctuality and fine work. Mr. Lee's employees consistently arrived on time, were quiet, and took care of my home. This was important for me because I actually had to work from home on several of the days that they were working. I have to say, however, that I was completely comfortable with leaving my home open to them in my absence, as well. They took off their shoes upon entering to keep the home neat. They cleaned up after themselves every day and threw away all trash. If I saw something of concern, they addressed it the next day. Unfortunately, some of the varnish on my wood floor lifted up when they removed the taped-down paper at the end, but I blame that on the antique varnish as they used the right low-stick tape. I have used this company three times- twice for a townhouse (full interior paint, 1600 sq/ft) that was a rental, and once for our own home. Guests in my home and townhouse have commented on the quality of the painting, without even knowing I had the place painted! I would recommend them to all of my friends and family, and to you, without reservation.

Wonderful! From the moment Mr. James Lee showed up at my door at exactly the appointment time, I've had a great experience with this company. Scheduling, response time, estimate, quality of the work done--all exceptional and very professional. The crew was punctual, polite, quiet and very considerate of my home. They were so thorough in masking things off, covering up the hardwood floors and moving furniture. They did a great job of patching up the many holes I had put in my walls from hanging artwork, and even removed the baseboards in one room, which the flooring people are supposed to do next week. They really care about the quality of the work they do and I would recommend them to anyone.

Mr. Lee quoted me a fair and competitive price to others I called, and his crew were very nice and professional. They taped everything, covered everything, and painted everything very well. The main painter came each day; and his assistants changed over the 3 days it took to complete the job, but everyone was very nice.

They did a very thorough job. Good prep work over several days. Careful attention to our wooden window sills. Pointed out and repaired some minor termite damage. Appreciated his thoughts and recommendations on stain color options. Several months later and it still looks sharp.

We have worked with Mr. Lee and his crew on multiple projects for our home, and each time we’ve been delighted with the results. Their quotes are reasonable and Mr. Lee and his staff set expectations properly by clearly communicating timelines to have the work completed. We found the work crew to be punctual, friendly, highly skilled and they worked very efficiently. At the end of each day they did a nice job of cleaning up the work site. James Lee House Painting is the BEST!! We got a quote on a Saturday and they started work on Monday morning. They are very efficient and the guys who did the work were so incredibly kind and clean. We missed them when they left! When I wasn't 100% happy with the first paint sample they asked me to go on the paint website and send the colors that I liked. I sent over 7 different shades of white and the next day they had each paint color painted on a strip on the house labeled 1-7. I was so pleased with their attention to detail and their help in making sure we got the color right. Our new windows weren't installed yet and they even came back a week later to do touch-ups once our new windows came in. I couldn't recommend them more. They painted both the interior and exterior of our house and their price was one of the best I could find. Of all of the remodeling we did on the house, the paint job was definitely the most stress free and efficient.

Mr Lee came and gave me an estimate and told me a lot of information about house painting and what they would do to make the result as good as possible. My house had holes punched in the stucco to blow in insulation and the stucco and wood were not in good shape to be painted. I hired Housepainting Inc. and Abraham and a helper showed up right on time and started doing the extensive prep work. They were on time each day (usually early) and spent three full days preparing the house for paint. Abraham did a good job explaining what he would do everyday and when it came time to pick the colors he made some suggestions and painted samples on the side of the house so I could see what the color would look like on the house. I have nothing but good to say about this company. They worked six full days and did an excellent job. They were not my cheapest estimate but I am glad I hired them.

I have continued to use them for other projects. They are awesome. They protected everything. Everything was very professional.

Mr. Lee's team did the best prep work I've ever seen, and that is the key to a great paint job. When some replacements ran late (new gutters and screens), he scheduled a return visit to finish 3 weeks after the original work. This is a first-rate operation, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I hired James Lee House Painting after having to fire my first painting contractor. His company is everything my initial contractor was not: professional, thorough, punctual, meticulous and efficient. After calling the office, I was able to schedule an appointment right away, and James arrived on time to assess the scope of the job. By the end of the same day, I had received the proposal, describing in detail what and how they would accomplish the job and the cost. His prices are very fair and his crew was excellent. Kim was the lead person on my job and he is just lovely. He is an expert painter and did a great job of communicating with me. They rectified what had been an unpleasant experience and turned the amateurish paint job left by the original contractor into perfection. I am 100% pleased with the job they did and recommend them unequivocally.

Excellent. The owner of the business, Mr. Chu, was prompt in responding and meeting our appointment and he provided a clear explanation of the job he would be doing. His team showed up promptly at 8am every morning. They were courteous, professional and friendly. They worked hard and cleaned up every day. The work that they did was outstanding.

We were happy each time. The office kept in touch with us and the crews came on time, worked hard, did a good job, and they cleaned up at the end of the day. Since we are living in the house while they worked, I was also impressed that they tried to be considerate and courteous of our living and working from home while doing the job and doing it well.

We were in contact with James and his office to provide an estimate for painting the exterior of our house. They have great communication and are always punctual. When he first came to provide the estimate, which was fair and comprehensive (backed with hundreds of references), we were just welcoming newborns into our home. Rather than selling us on providing his services immediately, he reviewed how lead removal works and how to protect our babies. What a professional! Because of the possibility of lead being disturbed from the old paint, we decided to wait to use his services until we had a safe and convenient place to move for a few days while his team scrapes off the old paint of our stucco home. By the time we found it months later, his schedule was too full to start soon but we hope to still use his company when there is availability. It's nice to know companies like his still exist out there!
